Character development? Ohhhhh I was hoping Song Kang would be bad boy all the way. It would be refreshing that a kdrama does not follow the usual formulas ....there was only one show this year that did that. It was a webdrama called How To Be Thirty and Kang Min Hyuk the ML was also a player of sorts. Ohhh did Bit Na change hair color ...I like this couple DH is a sweet guy...but DH run....Bit Na is too complicated if you ask me (and still hung up on Jae On) Ending scene

Just finished eps 11.... Nooooo is Dae Sik really taking on the bribe? I don't believe he would repeat the same mistake as S1...I hope he's doing this to trap the old man. And I have feeling why he fell asleep or was groggy the way that Derek and Kang was , was because they have been drugged. That energy drink that they all had was spiked. So that's why they are all having hallucinations too. Talking about the old man, I am surprised that he is truly unaware of his grandson's DID. But it seems that one of DBM's expressions reminded him of someone. Is that DBM's father? I cannot remember if anything was mentioned about DBM's parents. Anyway , it is finally clear to me that DBM's original self has no idea about the rest of the personalities (alters) . Apart from Mr Angry and Kang's twin , there's a calm one that they are now trying to identify the link to. So how is Kang and DBM related? Did they really meet in childhood? Can't wait to see what eps 12 will bring. And please let's not have DaeSik walk down the same path like S1 again. TBH , it didn’t look like oil. At some angles(probably lighting ) I kept thinking it looks like glazed donuts

So I caught eps 1 & 2 . It took the show awhile to capture my attention. The pacing felt a little uneven for me . The setting up of their backstories took longer than I had expected considering this is an 8 episode show. And I was somewhat disturbed that Jin's wish would be death for the lady who scammed them. While I could see that this would have a dramatic effect and it was made in a moment of anger , it does make me question Jin's values. She had just caused the death of someone , she was technically an accomplice to murder but her rather short moment of remorse made me uneasy (especially when she started negotiating about what she will now get from Hee Ra) It felt rather inconsistent to how the rest of her had been presented - she came across as someone who would stand up for the weak, like what she did for Young Gil. Is this intentional ? Since I am reading that she may be chosen to take over from Jin. Clearly from scattered flashbacks, she's met HR. Overall the drama is visually pleasing . And the cast do have synergy in their scenes - still surprised that baby face CJH is already 28 and is older than NJH! They look pretty good together but I won't go as far as to say I need them to have a love line though Young Gil is clearly having a noona crush. I think the main draw for me here really is Song Ji Hyo as the witch. Somehow there's this energy that she brings to her scenes.

hahahaha that is why I wanted to see your POV and so glad you posted. Because sometimes us girls tend romanticise a lot things , and being kdrama trained for years of accepting "jerks" who would experience character development , it is common for us ( or me at least) to overlook or justify things. It is interesting to see how you perceive his character.

Later on while filming the scene where the actors eat dinner together, Kim Ji Suk sneaks snacks into his mouth and smiles sheepishly when the camera catches him. Chae Jung Ahn points out that he’s on a diet, and Kim Ji Suk reassures her that he won’t gain weight by eating this. Yes...love his deep voice. He and Bit Na's story is somewhat annoying ( because of Bit Na ) but also very cute all at the same time. Maybe because it is clear they both really like / love each other but had trouble crossing over from friends to lovers. But it's good that they are together now.

The more I watch , the less I think he is. He may have been very friendly and somewhat a bit too touchy with her at first but I attribute that to him liking her . And I don't see him being so friendly to just any girl. I feel like the Nabi's insecurity stems from her being overly sensitive to the gossip around her ( and in eps 5 we can see when the friends were chatting , the truth was all twisted), as well as her baggage from her past relationship and her family situation . I was more annoyed with her than anything while watching eps 5. She wasn't honest with her feelings but she is expecting him to be. She wants to move on but yet she allows him to help her. So what does she expect now? For me she is the one that is sending the confusing signals.

I am actually up to speed. I am surprised that the original Dong BM is genuinely not aware of his alters .I know there's the gruff / violent one that was angry at Man Taek (sent by grandfather to look after him) and MT seems to have been abusive towards Dong BM when he was young. There's also the female one that is linked to Kwan Joo. I don't know if there is a third one. The original Dong BM and grandfather truly thinks he is sleepwalking. And grandfather seems to have ignored some of the warning signs of Dong BM being violent in his childhood. There is really a lot strange things going in that village . Hmm why was Kwan Joo disturbed when Derek whispered to Dong BM he will kill him himself? I was assuming it was just out of anger. But was there something in his voice she recognised. Also Dae Sik seems to be suffering from pain ...PTSD? I think he is still affected from what MTG did to him in S1... I hope he stays on to be a detective and not give up. Also , shouldn't Derek's time in SK be up soon? Anyway , LKH is pretty awesome in this role. He's taken so many different types of roles since his breakout role in Prison Playbook. Very happy he took this one on too. I know I was supposed to fangirl over SSH ( and I can see why ) but I ended up looking forward to this more because of LKH and Baek Sung Hyun ( who plays Dae Sik) By the way anyone caught the bit where Dae Sik was comforting Officer Park who felt bad she somewhat botched her 1st dispatch. And DS told her he used to get it a lot from Jin Hyuk the Mad Dog ( Jang Hyuk's character) ...throwback! (I even managed to find this gif I made then!)
