  1. It is the writing. Technically, JiHan doesn't know that DoHan and AhJung are not in love. But for his own agenda, he keeps trying to separate them and even to the point where he thinks "stealing" her is the best solution for this. For me that is a line that should not be crossed even if this was meant to give the leads ample opportunity for interactions. It makes it hard to root for him since he's just willing to do anything to get the project going & to have their side inherit LJ. Of course he'll come to regret it but I feel he has zero consideration for what his brother wants. I am guessing that the writer is going to give him some character development but it really needs to come sooner. After 5 episodes it is no longer charming to see him behaving so like a child. Last night's episode made me wish AhJung can run away from all this. Considering the story that will be written by that bad reporter, her reputation is going to go down the drain. Like how will she come back to act? I am assuming she still wants to. It looks like it is going to be a hot mess what with Chae Won making a deal with grandpa in exchange for JiHan. Let's see how entangled this will get.
  2. ahahahaha @mademoiselle I am sure this was always the intention. Hmmm S2 better be good
  3. Has subs ! Trailer by Kocowa https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4Yb7JeNqGT/?igsh=MWFuZG43aDlzc294MA== New trailer
  4. Yes. And I don't know if I fully agree with the strike. They aren't happy that the government wants to have more doctors - making applications easier. Citizens don't mind - more doctors. But the existing docs seem to want to protect the profession. @peperomia @mademoiselle I love that we had some JW centric episodes. I always wondered what it was like for him; he may have very successful parents but they are just so so awful - the mum especially. Kyung Min is responsible for the choices he made but I did feel sorry for him and I like to think he genuinely cared for JW. It was like a love-hate sort of relationship. Hence I can understand how hard it was for JW - how conflicted he must have felt. Plenty of tears from me too. And please let this be the drama where Yoon Park finally gets the girl. I love how things are coming along even if things seem somewhat complicate with his nurse in the picture. But our single parents here like each other so please let's have this work out.
  5. About to watch eps 14 but the one thing that Hanuel said to JW in eps 13 which really resonated with me was that it was okay for him not to forgive KyungMin ...at least not at that point. She mentioned that he needed to process his emotions and not suppress his feelings. I cannot agree more. JW has always taken everything in his stride and and didn't let things faze him but I feel that is just a mask for how he feels. Glad we had a very JW centric episode.
  6. Pre-released. What JW lacks in parental love, Haneul's chaotic family will surely make up for it
  7. @mademoiselle @peperomia @gilaswan I think this is from the written preview, it seems that Hanuel despite having surgery will stay unconscious. And Kyung Min wakes up first and tells JW what happened that day. JW feels guilty because he thinks Haneul's accident could have been avoided if she hadn't confronted KyungMin on his behalf?
  8. hahaha does Jun always play the villain or loney characer @Tofu? I've never seen any of his past works, but your boy is growing on me. He's kind of cute . Tofu is on vacation so I will chime in here. Jun has played a myriad of characters. But plenty which are lonely and angsty. Even as a romantic ML, he's always misunderstood . I like him and started following his career since I saw him in Good Casting (2020). Managed to watch quite a bit of his filmography and find him a talented actor.
  9. @mademoiselle @rocher22 @JenL It bugs me that till now that love starved InHa is being used here, and he just doesn't see it. But how can he when both Hye Won and TaeOh tells him exactly what he needs to hear each time. Hye Won marrying him for the power that it will bring her. TaeOh - wants something but it isn't clear what ( I don't believe for a moment that TaeO is merely doing any of this for InHa's benefit.) But I cut TaeO abit of slack since he made it clear from the start to InHa that this is mutual benefit sort of relationship. Perhaps I am harder on HyeWon because she is using his affections for her. On my TL, it doesn't seem that anyone wants Hye Won to end up with either guy. . I think it's how her character has been written and it doesn't help the actress ( pretty as she is) seems to have zero chemistry with either male leads. Yes, it seems to that people are rooting for Hee Joo and TaeO ...but hmmm I think she'll need to grow up before I can root for it. Anyway , this isn't really the sort of drama that I would see a happy ending. Just let my InHa survive - cuz I have a bad feeling that's him lying there dead in eps 1. That said...I am enjoying this typical makjang fare of birth secrets, chaebol infighting and scheming. It really helps having eye candies like LeeJaeWook & Jun play the MLs.
  10. Wahhh one oppa literally fighting another oppa . Should be a dream come true ? 😂
  11. Oh that's good. I was struggling with the plot development for episode 3. Though it is the only logical choice that he would go after her and steal her heart ( and this makes a perfect rom-com setting), still it felt like he has crossed the line for doing that. It is fortunate that MXM with his pretty face card :D is playing this. Otherwise it would have been hard to root for this pairing. There are moments of sweetness to JiHan where you know deep down he isn't a jerk but right now he's behaving like one for sure, and I would want Ah Jeong to run from this entire family. Anyway I will keep watching.
  12. Don't see on official sites yet...but sweetie here looks good. A cut from the script reading :D So it is part of the SBS showcase ( from the 10th minute) Think this will be on Disney + ( perhaps 2nd half of the year?)
  13. Same here. Unfortunately because of the way her character was depicted in the first two episodes, I find it hard to empathise with her. How I see it is that her character could be the catalyst to the partnership going south but not necessarily the ultimate reason why the two guys ended up betraying each other. InHa is being used here Yes. Exactly ...and he still went for it. Which annoyed me. Does he think he could genuinely make her like him? She was clever though...she kind of played her cards right too.
  14. Agreed. This is on of the reasons why this show is such a good watch. I rarely see pairings like that in kdrama land. Especially when the tsundere ML seems to be the archetype in for rom-coms. JW is a breath of fresh air. hahahah...I didn't mind because there was still this competitive undercurrent between them when they bickered later on. I am glad that there's still some consistency with their characters. Me too....I love that their starting point of becoming friends is because of their kids. It's a good common ground. But can Dae Young please just ask Hong Ran out for a drink or meal , already? I am not too hot about the preview with Haneul confronting Kyung Min on her own. It felt a bit darker than I expected. @SilverMoonTea are you watching this ? What episode are you at?
  15. This was hilarious! I am about to watch last night's but I ended up seeing this pre-release on my feed. Oh good. I was waiting for this...not enough of JW's background before this.
  16. As in too young ? Too handsome to be a PD? ...there were comments that he looks more like a celebrity actor .
  17. I like her . Have watched a few of her stuff including her breakout movie Burning with Yoo Ah In. She’s a natural actress. oh side track ..,her RL boyfriend who’s a director is also handsome 🤣🤣
