  1. Yeah! They should let us know if these were the boys' idea. I kinda don't think the script will be that detailed. On another note, I was concerned with the hair grabbing. Wouldn't want our boys to lose more hairs when not necessary haha
  2. Episode 3-4 I enjoyed episode 4 a lot more than 3. Episode 4 showed both Ji Han and Ah Jung are falling for one another. It showed us they are interacting and learning about each other. I kind of think both of them are quite similar on some level. Ah Jung felt deflated her career isn't going anywhere and Ji Han is more or less the same, being shunned out by LJ Group. Episode 4 also gives us more insight into Ji Han's past. It's still unclear as to why Ji Han is blamed for mum's death, because the car accident was caused by someone chasing her, and the reporter Kang Ik Jun seem to be the culprit who was following her. The death is a bit of a mystery, which I think Haraboji knows, but chose to cover up to protect someone—maybe Ji Han or the identity of their father. It definitely felt good seeing Ji Han revenge on Yuri who bullies Ah Jung. Ah Jung is clearly touched Ji Han watched all of her dramas. Even though he's got an agenda, but he still made the effort, and it's clear he's totally sucked into it. Watching all of her dramas to learn about the male leads is just an excuse. I belated realised little child actor Woo Jin and Moon Sang Min played uncle and nephew in Under The Queen's Umbrella. And then there's Jung Kyung Ho's cameo, as Chae Won's blind date. It's a very short cameo but it marks the second time they acted as each others' blind date. Hahaha. He was "so oily" in this one, physically (his hair) and behaviour. Ew. Do Han's ex-lover made a return at the end of episode 4. He seems to be out to get Do Han. I didn't actually quite understand what happened 5 years ago. But looks like Do Han "ran away" from LJ Group, as well as this lover. Hmm, this means the photos from NY must be the works of the ex-lover!
  3. Dae Young realises he's the one at fault, too, eventually. Some time after their fall out. He just couldn't bring himself to apologise and make up with Jeong Woo all these times until he found out Jeong Woo was going through so much difficulties. The medical malpractice provided the medium for him to reach out. It raised another question too. How is it that he has access to Jeong Woo's clinic?! Did Jeong Woo give him access or he broke in? Yes, this part isn't clear yet, but at the mention of Macau, it definitely confirms he's involved. The deceased was a casino heiress. So not sure how a casino owner link to Haesung Pharmaceuticals. Yes, they did. So I'm really hoping there is no noble idiocy because noble idiocy tends to take over everything (logic and promise out the window) in kdramas!
  4. I watched episode 3 & 4 last night. A very Tae Ho centric two episodes. I don't think I appreciate the story-telling very much at the moment. It is supposed to be interesting but my interest is not piqued. There was another 5 years time jump, so a total of 10 years since their college year. Tae Ho has moved to personally serve In Ha's father for the last 5 years. What didn't make sense for me is, he's able to plot all of the happenings (with a hired hacker) right under In Ha's father's nose when the man had eyes on everyone. It just seems unbelievable. The friendship between the 3 leads were non-existence in these two episodes. Tae Ho keeps his plans and thoughts close to his heart and doesn't share them. Hye Won is a boring FL and expressionless. Both In Ha and her didn't do much here. Hee Joo is annoying. It is ok to be bratty when she's a teenager, but girl is an adult now and being bratty is no longer acceptable. It's been 10 years, get over Tae Ho already. I did not appreciate her going to Tae Ho demanding he marries her. Grow some dignity, girl. 😮‍💨 There was an argument between In Ha and Tae Ho which I thought In Ha made a good point "what does Tae Ho want from all of this?". Because if In Ha is not convinced, how can the viewers be convinced I.e. Tae Ho said he did all this for In Ha. Boo. He's so private that it's hard to know what exactly is in his mind and what his ulterior motive is. With his excellent scheming, he could take KangOh Group if he wants.
  5. @abs-oluteM I am reading through MDL and seems like it was HULU who released episode 3-4 but it's no longer there. But dark site has it. LOLLLL
  6. @JenL Moving – I think for me, the editing of the drama is choppy. Just when I'm happily watching the kids developing their friendships and power, all of a sudden we cut to the past. The flow of the story-telling felt off then on with 2 episodes each dedicated to each adult couple's story. It isn't that I disliked their stories, but each story was so different that they don't flow well from one to the other. Go Youn Jung – Yes, her next drama is with Kim Seon Ho. I actually wanted her to work with RW in a romance drama. 😕 RW's FM – Woah, really? You would go to his FM! Would you go if he has one in Sydney? Or the criteria is must be where you are? Nah, I don't know anyone in real life who likes him. In fact, I don't know anyone in real life who is this into Kdramas or oppa. I wonder why there are so many of us online, but none in real life. LOL! Maybe most of them are like you, don't want to reveal this side of them...? The ones I know, a co-worker, she is into Seventeen and KPOP and not so much in dramas or actors. I still don't see it. Occasionally, I would see on my TL a fan rant about something, but then I don't get the full picture! And then there are the bigger fan club account which doesn't say anything because they want to filter the "bad news" about their biases, and they would also refrain from dissing another because that's the house rule. Hmm, now I wonder whether you guys are seeing these due to algorithms. Oh true, there were a lot of photos between Jae Wook and Youn Jung. Not to mention in BTS, he keeps praising her "Oh, yeuppeu-ra!" and BAM, he goes and date Karina. Ahahahahaha! I swear when the news broke out, I was internally thinking, "What about Youn Jung? You said she's beautiful!" Even though I wasn't shipping, I felt a tiny bit cheated. Hahaha! The "golden age" celebs' fans are next level maybe because of their star status. I do think, though, those that are defending them are not their older fans anymore because those ladies are married and mature with family/kids, hence less time to fight. The new fans they gained is where I notice a lot more rabid. They would behaved like their bias is the best in the world and their female co-star (or vice versa if it's an actress) must be at the same level as him, otherwise, it'd be an insult to his/her status. Tell me if you guys notice this trend...? Jae Wook – Anymore news about his new agency? Yeah, I learned from an old JCW's fan that actor has to shell out money for stylist and hairdresser. This is not paid by the agency. So it would be extra burden if he goes for a one man agency. I also think to have a one man agency means you must have a manager that is really good with his/her social network. Maybe it is just a rumour. I don't know what to think about his dating scandal. It can't be CJes spreading the dating news and then comes out to clarify about his scandal (not Karina but the ex-girlfriend). Although I have heard people talking about agency being manipulative that way. Nah, I wasn't asking if Tofu is in dilemma about Jun vs Jae Wook. I was asking if she's rather he plays villain instead of a lonely character. LOL. He's probably is just like how Jae Wook teases him—likes to do the total opposite of what others do i.e. the norm. Not a bad thing. Just need to be careful not to be typecast. @ssteph Have you watched My Name is Loh Kiwan? I tried to last night but it's too depressing, so I read spoiler and jumped to the end. 😅
  7. Episode 12 Hahaha, finally we find out what really happened between Dae Young and Jeong Woo. I'm glad because I've been really curious. And, lol, sorry to say I am Team Jeong Woo. Completely understand Dae Young's feelings, but he was definitely the petty one. I'm so happy this time they were honest and talked it out. ❤️😊 I'm also delighted we get more clarity with the medical malpractice incident, too. Glad to know the anaesthetist is not in cahoot with Min Kyung Min, and glad to know he has evidence against Kyung Min. Shocked to find out he has SEVEN spy camera planted everywhere. The police only have 4! Did the anaesthetist kept the 3? I can't say I got my head around what Kyung Min is up to, especially on the reason he drugged Jeong Woo. As for Dae Young and Hong Ran, lol, that was a quick development between them! It was quite funny they were together when Jeong Woo and Ha Neul called them. And I cracked up laughing again watching their childish fight. True, @peperomia, Ik Jun and Jun Wan fought like that too! We only have 4 episodes left, so I don't expect a coma or amnesia. I am also hoping there is no noble idiocy whereby Jeong Woo blame himself for what happened to Ha Neul and asked for a breakup. Don't even go there, writer.
  8. @Tofu @SilverMoonTea @abs-oluteM I can confirm no love line between Kim Nam Joo and Cha Eun Woo 😁 She went on Yoo Jae Suk's program and confirmed there is none. Hahaha. And I can also confirm this isn't a fantasy drama. Eun Woo is not her son from the future. Ahahaha! Episode 2 Urgh. Eun Soo Hyun refused to plead for lighter punishment, so she was sentenced to jail for 7 years. She refused her husband, Soo Ho's visit, and in the end "break-up" with him so that he could pursue a better life without a murderer wife. There is speculation as to whether Soo Hyun indeed left the door open that causes the son to leave the house. She thinks she closed it but unsure. The bad Assemblyman buys Soo Ho's silence by showing him the door was opened. I don't know... I don't think that video footage is trustworthy. They all forget the neighbour lady and her son was outside of their house and she was taking video/photos, so she would have evidence whether the door was indeed closed. There was also speculation that Soo Ho was cheating, and when Soo Hyun was with Soo Ho, the woman left the door open. But if Soo Ho was to cheat, then the only suspect would be Im Se Mi. I sincerely hope not. Episode 2 is still sad because Soo Hyun can't get over the pain. She's still in pain and sad after coming out of jail. I really hope this low pressure moodiness would be over now because I need the show/story to move on. Cha Eun Woo is still very good-looking here, but because he works at the junk yard, he transforms into a muscly arm and sweaty hot guy. Though he's still too fair and clean for someone working at a junk yard. Haha! Chocolate would not approve. There weren't much of him except he's doing dodgy things for the bad Assemblyman. At the moment, I'm not sure if he knew he's working for a bad guy or he's just working for the money. BTS
  9. I forgot to mention, the beginning of episode 11 was too sweet! If I wasn't eating my savoury lunch, I would have needed to visit a dentist from toothache. That was too over the top 😅 Second thing I forgot to mention was rather than the main leads' love line, I had fun watching Dae Young receiving help from Hong Ran regarding his daughter. I hope the drama give some more time to develop Dae Young and Hong Ran's love line because their relationship and their relationship with their children were a lot more interesting. That said, I do like the process of the OTP learning about and considerate of one another. More importantly, they make up quick rather than dragging it out. I didn't like that Ha Neul chicken out on telling her family and temporarily Jeong Woo became the bad guy, so I'm glad Omma figured it out the next day. Though, I have to say, Jeong Woo will be one very pouty and aegyo boyfriend when he's upset. LOL! But I also think he is quite quick/easy to get over it – provided it's a puny issue.
  10. Episode 11 Min Kyung Min is crazy! I'm not surprised he had something to do with the medical incident, which is now confirmed by the anaesthetist visiting him, but I did not know he drugged Jeong Woo before! What is wrong with this guy? Jeong Woo doesn't think he could gain from drugging him, but after hearing Jeong Woo's parents' medical background, I think it had so much to do with gaining something through Jeong Woo. What I would like to understand is why he keeps wanting to drag Jeong Woo down. Is he jealous of Jeong Woo's specs/family background and couldn't stand seeing Jeong Woo being happy and successful, so he tries to sabotage that...? Or in sabotaging Jeong Woo, he earns some cookies / trust from his parents...?? That said, it was great to learn about Jeong Woo's family. Although it deserves more screen time/backstory, but I also do like that the story was told by Jeong Woo himself. The whole time that Ha Neul was looking like she might cry, it was also the time I felt Jeong Woo's loneliness. However, he is such an optimistic person that he was able to see from a positive perspectives and treasure what he had over not have. That is such a precious trait that not many people have. He grew up well even though he didn't receive the same kind of family love Ha Neul had. I thought the camera should give Park Hyung Sik more time to process the line "you're our family now" when Ha Neul's mum said that to him. I would have thought this is something Jeong Woo would have been touched.
  11. E12 Pre-release OMG, these two! Dae Young is so petty. And both are so childish. Love the classical music BGM used when they had the pillow fight. It's so apt (and reminded me of Nodame Cantabile). @abs-oluteM @peperomia
  12. Hey @Chocolate, did you watch The Bequeathed? It's mystery thriller/crime. It has that ahjussi you found him hot before (in another drama), hahaha!
  13. Actress Jeon Jung Seo is getting a lot of praises for her acting here. What do you think, @abs-oluteM?
