  1. New Teaser @ktcjdrama @abs-oluteM This preview actually looks good. I feel emotions!
  2. I've experienced these too! Travel mates constantly on the go because they want to get/see everything they put on the schedule. I also think having the same values and eating habits are important too because I was tricked into the trip by them having telling me money is not an issue but by the time we paid the plane tickets, money becomes an issue. Same for food, we shouldn't have to go separate ways for meals. Yes, vice versa, don't go to Western countries and look for Asian food! We should be trying out the local food (unless they are too spicy for me to handle, ahem). Kyaaaaaaa. More Rowoon! Let me ter-Rowoon Rowoon again...!!! I'm happy that you enjoy giffing him. I haven't even started but many people have done it so I'll just save theirs. One gif for me take an hour to do; too inefficient. Sometimes the video convertor ruins the video too which drives me nuts. I don't know how those pro Giffers churn it out so quick. They've done a better job than me 99% of the time. LOL.
  3. that that that... what does it mean? Indeed, Tea is very ter-RJY RJY lately. He's everywhere LOL. RW at least didn't occupy the Discord chat So I am only ter-RW (one time), not two. LOL
  4. @SilverMoonTea @JenL It's not easy to find a good travel mate 😔 Hahaha I guess right then. However, please know I'm not recommending WWW because of the ship. I'm recommending it because of LJW's dual roles in there that I think, as a fan of his, you should totally check out. I'm not invested in LDH x LJW pairing or think of the ship or chemistry highly like other fans. How they become a couple was a fun watch but it's the main story that I'm recommending - the topics discussed (interesting arguments from both sides - that some things just doesn't have a black and white), strong female characters and this one being everyone's least favourite—the main OTP's dilemma on their marriage viewpoints. Hahahaha this I have to claim complete innocence. I really did just thought of you when I saw his new photoshoot. If I were to sway you, I'd put two of them side by side xD But I don't want to push people to like Rowoon if they don't, because pushing only makes people dislike or get fed up of him instead. I don't know. I am swooning alone here. Hahaha. @Tofu was lovely to make me so many Rowoon's gifs and I just love staring (it makes me smile and not be so stressed about work stuff, LOL). And I should totally be working right now and I don't feel like it today! Ah true. It's a weird thing but I kind of understand that behaviour, like the EY casts are being "excused". And also like you said, RW only follow "work" stuff so it is acceptable and fair. xD I think this is also why RW doesn't follow anybody or post a lot - to avoid all this messy weird stuff. There's actually internal conflicts between the SF9 fans too - like fans of other member attacking another member. Too much drama. I've learnt from PYC and Seungri's cases... that there will be stans out there who side their Oppa to the end even if he committed the most heinous crime. It's shocking. I can't say I understand this. As for KSH, I do feel sorry that his private life is the talk of the nation and/or the world.
  5. The Ming envoys will visit Joseon. Everyone needs to appease them and there will be political manipulation here I am sure since Hwi is the host and people will want her to fail. Ji Woon might be able to help because he saved the Ming's Vice Minister of Rites before Oh you have a point there. I think the flaw is in the script because the scene of Ji Woon pointing at the book, in the BTS, we can see it was a requirement in the script and left to the actors and PD to work it out how they do it. So in the end, it became what we saw on air. It was Eun Bin's suggestion that she blocks Rowoon with both hands. As for the bathing scene which there is no BTS, I'm therefore inclined to think it was also part of the script that she freaks out rather than specifying Dam-i has to defend/fight Ga On. Hello. Welcome to the thread! Happy to see another viewer coming in to share your thoughts. I don't think the Queen was able to think too far ahead and pretty sure it's not meant to be permanent as you have pointed out all the valid points Hwi cannot do. It was just one step at a time because if the truth was revealed then and there, it would be a blood bath and she would've dragged her husband down, who was only a Crown Prince then and there may be others who wanted the throne as well. The timing needs to be right for the reveal. Perhaps she had wanted to wait until her husband became the king and has the power to resolve this issue, which I think is why she requested him to protect Hwi before she dies. As for letting Minister Han knows the truth, that would still mean a blood bath and it doesn't mean Han cannot find Dam-i. I'm actually quite concerned the story will go haywire later but here's finger/toe crossing that it will end decently and logically. Maybe, just maybe at the end the King would heed his promise to his dead wife and spare Dam-i's life and let her become a commoner and live happily with Ji Woon.
  6. I remember watching Strawberry Night and there was hint but NOTHING happened in the drama. So here I thought maybe it will happen in the movie, but NOOOOO, they added another actor and gave her and him the sex scene and the other guy I shipped her with see them shagging in the back of the van (it was moving). So annoyed. As for With Love, the OTP didn't even have a proper lover's kiss. It was all platonic, very suitable for @SilverMoonTea Yes it is weird! You're OK to watch Return but not WWW. I don't comprehend. But I'm guessing whether that's because it's the sequence thing, "it came before DDSSLLS" and was a ship before LaJun. LOL. However, if you really like LJW, I definitely think it's worthy of a watch PLUS I do enjoy the topics that were covered in the drama. It was relatable and provides perspectives from both sides. Errr...what did I do? If you are responding to posts from days ago, I can't remember anymore but I don't remember trying to sway anyone or sell Rowoon. I feel like I'm the only one swooning at Rowoon coz you all just love torturing yourselves with SLS!? I see! RW and AHS go way back to their idol days. So sweet of Rowoon to introduce his good buddy to Jae Wook. But geezzz, I'm pretty sure the actors have another personal account that they follow each other (or just use Kakao Talk). I always believe the IG we follow is meant for "business/work", and not going to be a personal one. Otherwise how did other actors do it without having to follow anyone (these actors are those who wish to avoid scandals). Besides, wouldn't this mean LJW fans are also offended at RW because he doesn't follow anyone but his own bandmates and SF9 account, . These fans need to use some common sense. OMG, that is one fugly sweater and combo of colours, @JenL! Why are stylists ruining them???
  7. Hahahahaha yes. I was laughing so much but cringing. I also feel nervous for LYD whenever they return the shuttlecock at a height that gives the opponent the opportunity to smash. You are right he must be very nervous, partnering up with LYD and wanting to do well and that only made it worse. The lady coach did use that to her advantage by targeting the weaker player. LYD was like an octopus on the court. True, Min Ki did work hard to practice and agree being natural and athletic does play a big part. Size as well which the fencer Oh Sang Wook has for being tall and long. His one step is probably the others' 2-3 steps. YHM really surprised me though because he was reported as a professional baseball player and the outcome is so different to Yoon Doo Joon. xDDD Sang Wook would be a very strong opponent if he was being well-trained in all the basics, including serving (LOLLL his serving in episode 2, aigoo). After that if he learns the mindset/strategies, which I think Se Chan and Seungkwan already have and even Doo Joon is learning as he goes, he'd be really good. I'm actually a bit confused with the purpose of the show. I thought the idea is to help them gradually improve so in order to do that shouldn't the coaches be focusing on teaching them the most basic things first like holding the racquet correctly, learning the correct footwork and serving? → Note I didn't watch episode 1-2 in full. Although that probably will be very boring for variety show. But with the correct footwork it would help them so much when they are playing games for points.
  8. Did anyone know about this drama?! I had no idea it was even coming! @Chocolate Is it your cuppa?
  9. Calling @JenL how did Lee Jae Wook know Ahn Hyo Seop? https://www.soompi.com/article/1475926wpp/lee-jae-wook-sends-thoughtful-gift-to-ahn-hyo-seop-on-the-set-of-his-upcoming-historical-drama I see the link is either through Kwak Si Yang or Rowoon...
  10. Hey look, this is the first teaser and Haram's style has changed...!
  11. 2021.10.27 [ENG] BTS 3 is out! Being on top of Rowoon and strangling him was Eun Bin's idea
  12. 😅 I just don't want to rant again about the show coz I was already "????" when I read the posts on my timeline. And true I wasn't invested in the show as well as the OTP. I think it is a good thing because I'd probably be even madder if I was. Interesting the show left the coup part as open ending/epilogue. I'm really wondering now if the show had to last minute change the script because of Joseon Exorcist's incident. The show was definitely affected if I remember correctly and didn't they push back the premiere date because of it? Because if they had followed the original plan, Joohyang (Prince Suyang/King Sejo) will be King later and according to his history, he did do this: Suyang surrounded himself with trusted allies, including his famous adviser, Han Myung-hoi. Han advised Suyang to take over the government in a coup, and on 10 November (10th day of the 10th lunar month) 1453, he killed Kim Jongseo and his faction, thereby taking the reins of power into his own hands. After the coup, he arrested his own brother, Anpyeong (Yangmyeong in the drama), first sending him into exile, then sentencing him to death.
  13. @Chocolate I've decided not to watch E16 and dedicate this one hour to a tvN variety show. xD Hehehe, Kwak Si Yang knows Ahn Hyo Seop because they are in the same agency, Starhaus.
  14. @im0202 I'm watching episode 3. I feel so sorry for Lee Yong Dae. Both his partners are black hole xDDDD Lee Yong Dae looks like he wants to scream but can't Surprisingly the maknae's reflex is pretty good! I could totally relate to how Lee Yong Dae felt as well as the other weaker players since I started as a beginner so the better player did the same to me, like telling me to stand in front, and as I progressively improved I also started to understand it really is not easy to play against or partner with unpredictable beginners and one could hurt themselves trying to cover for the partner. Ahhh, I finally got to the part where Tang Joon Sang them all appeared. Wish their screen time were much longer. I really miss the boys. @stroppyse it's funny Woo Chan was rejecting skinship Joon Sang in real life seems like a soft speaker and yes, seems so so sweet. I saw a casting news that he'll be in a movie with Youn Yuh Jung next
  15. source: @Tofu Whaaaaa? @bairama What is "ter-Rowoon Rowoon"?
  16. Episode 6 I agree episode 6 was great. I think much better than episode 5 because the plot is moving and there are more happenings. There were too much swooning scenes in episode 5 (LOL - can you guys believe I am saying this? But hey, gotta be fair even though I love watching Rowoon). Agree with @abs-oluteM that we have more flashbacks on their childhood to build up their backstory and saw how they bonded when young. I remember Rowoon mentioned somewhere in their promotion that Dam-i influenced and made him see another world and I've been wondering whether it was edited out. Thankfully it is included in this episode and it helps us understand Ji Woon is keeping his promise to Dam-i. No doubt they were each other's first love/crush but it's really the present interactions that this love will grow deeper, even though Ji Woon doesn't (yet) know why. It's definitely much more convincing than once-off meet cute and love-you-til-death-do-us-part-at-adulthood-when-we-barely-knew-each-other (yes, I'm referring to you, Lovers of the Red Sky 😤). Perhaps life was much more simple then that love is something more trustworthy than present time; however, I personally still prefer a childhood related love story be persuasive and justifiable by other means. That said, I feel extremely apologetic towards Lee Hyun because even though his love for Dam-i is no way less than Ji Woon, Ji Woon just moved Dam-i's heart more. Although Hyun knows he's a she but he doesn't really know Dam-i as Dam-i whereas Ji Woon is the only person who remembers Dam-i for who she really is. She matters to him and he misses her to this day, and he openly and unknowingly confessed his feelings to Dam-i was his first love. It was meaningful to Dam-i, who had to hide her true self. Park Eun Bin was excellent here in emoting through her eyes that Dam-i was very shaken by Ji Woon's words and actions. I'm also loving the change in Dami-i. She's living in fear for so long and was being submissive towards Minister Han, and now she's standing up to both Jung Seok Jo and Grandpa. The tension was enjoyable. To be honest, I do think Minister Han can't do nothing to Dam-i. He puts all his cards on Hwi, and at this point, I don't see him having any backup blood-related Prince which allows him to replace Hwi, so whatever threat he spouted at Dam-i is all an empty threat. With Hwi gone, his power will be weaken and he should be grovelling at Hwi. I would love to see Dam-i pluck up the courage and make good use of his authority in future episodes. Minister Han may be her grandfather but Hwi is still the Crown Prince of the nation. The Crown Prince status is higher and Han needs to show respect. Yeah, I think I'd love to see more of this authoritive Park Eun Bin. I think so far the story-telling is going well and things were unclear before are being clarified—like the reason behind why Samgaebang seems to be a clinic being frown upon for instance. I also like that it was explained that Dam-i was the one only who used the abandon place hence the reason why the place is now a mess. How come you guys know Bae Soo Bin so well @Mouse @Tofu? I think he's pretty good as the evil Jung Seok Jo. He's so cold so it was nice to see him reacted to Ji Woon's self-harming threat. I didn't expect Ji Woon would go the extreme but as a drama viewer, I so love it. I wanted Ji Woon to stab himself even deeper so that I could see Rowoon do pain. And yes, in comparison to Where Stars Land or Extraordinary You, Rowoon has shown vast improvement in line deliveries, intonation and acting from She Would Never Know onwards. Episode 7 seems to be a mix bag of light and heavy. We've puppy Rowoon running towards Hwi in adoration (they must have exchanged scripts by accident ) and then we have Dam-i beating up Park Ki Woong, cameo as the Ming envoy (I think). It's taboo for Joseon to anger Ming Dynasty but I'm sure Ji Woon having saved that Vice Minister of Rites's life in episode 1 would be put to good use in this context. Heh. And Kim Ga On, LOLLLL. There's soooo little screen time for him but I just love that the camera gave him a focus and his expression when the gang saw Minister Han waiting at the Crown Prince quarter. I laughed because it was unexpected and had a moment of "Oh, even he knows the tension/power struggle between Hwi and Minister Han".
  17. Not only that, to make things worst (hard to digest), Im Soo Jung's character has a boyfriend/fiance! It's that guy you said you were impressed with in Beyond Evil (that annoying manager in Brahms who bullies my babies)! Gaaaaah, I'm not looking forward to this melo kind of stories. WHY LDH IS DOING THIS TO ME!?
