  1. Hahahaha, so picky Chocolate. You've seen her acted in Memories of the Alhambra and Sisyphus, isn't it? And I assumed #Alive as well? What do you think? I think she was popular since You're Beautiful. Her fame got heightened further because of The Heirs. So now you can see she's pairing up with male leads that are more veteran than actors her age or younger because her star status has up another level (at least that's my observation from her recent co-star pairing). The pairing that you had wanted before 😆
  2. @Chocolate Doctors fight scene was better choreographed (https://youtu.be/j9r0rhAA0ro) Woah, I'm surprised about The Veil. The rating seems to be doing well and I saw you guys actively discussed and sometimes praises it so I thought it's good and it's just me couldn't get into it. Edit: I apologise in advance for this criticism...
  3. I just died from the above comment. Maybe it's the cinematography and editing? I've seen an action scene being edited (speed increase) and the action looked so much better. Sisyphus was poorly edited. What is the verdict for The Veil (story-wise)? I know he:
  4. @JenL I saw the 21 mins highlight trailer too. The moment Joe appears on screen, it look so much better xDDD I stopped watching his dramas after Love or Bread with Ariel Lin and he went to China. He must have gotten a lot better after going to China. Hahaha. I don't quite understand (from the trailer) why ML (Orad?) had to appear and save FL when she was young, and continue to appear before her when she was in high school if he knew it wasn't allowed. I'm sure there's a reason to that... btw, I thought the "kawas" and "kakarayan" sounded like Malay hahaha.
  5. 2021.10.17 New Released Stills \(♥o♥)/~~~ Girl, don't attack your future husband xD SF9’s Rowoon And Park Eun Bin Have A Series Of Fated Encounters In “The King’s Affection” KBS’s “The King’s Affection” has released new stills of Park Eun Bin and Rowoon ahead of the upcoming episode! Based on the manhwa (Korean comic) of the same name, “The King’s Affection” tells the story of a pair of royal twins, one male and one female. Although the sister is initially abandoned for being female, she later disguises herself as a man to become the crown prince when her brother dies. Park Eun Bin stars as Lee Hwi, the crown prince with a shocking secret, while SF9’s Rowoon stars as Jung Ji Woon, who is Lee Hwi’s teacher. Spoilers In the previous episode, Lee Hwi and Jung Ji Woon had a fateful reunion. Although it was a nerve-wracking situation in which Lee Hwi’s actual gender was almost revealed, a mystical atmosphere was created that led the viewers to anticipate the coming excitement of the next stage in their relationship. New stills preview a precarious meeting between Jung Ji Woon and Lee Hwi, who has let her hair down and is very obviously a woman. While Jung Ji Woon is out gathering herbs, he runs into Lee Hwi, although he doesn’t know her identity. In order to defend herself from the presence she senses near her, Lee Hwi swings a dagger in the direction of the unknown person. Thankfully, Jung Ji Woon catches her mid-swing and saves himself from danger, but he also catches a glimpse of her face. When he studies the face of the woman standing in front of him, he is suddenly reminded of a girl he had liked when he was a child, and the recognition shows plainly in his lingering gaze. Lee Hwi stares defiantly back at him, ready to defend herself in order to protect her secret. In another set of stills, Jung Ji Woon appears to be stopping Lee Hwi from speaking as he suddenly eyes something suspiciously and wraps a hand around her mouth. Lee Hwi’s eyebrows furrow into a displeased expression, leading viewers to wonder what could have led to the heart-fluttering situation. The drama’s producers commented, “Situations where Lee Hwi and Jung Ji Woon meet in a fateful manner will continue to unfold. Those moments will eventually become memories that they will want to treasure for a long time, and they will bring up deeply buried emotions.” The next episode of “The King’s Affection” airs on October 18 at 9:30 p.m. KST. source
  6. I actually quite like how Hwang Jeong and Young Guk's story turned out. It may not have been passionate love he felt towards Hwang Jeong, but he did really care for her and her mother. I thought the bit that Cho Hee mentioned about Young Guk making sure he gives Hwang Jeong the fish eyes, knowing she loves it, was a very significant gesture in their relationship. And of course the revelation of him sincerely and wholeheartedly took care of Hwang Jeong's mother was definitely a very good merit on his character. Hwang Jeong is such a good character with a big heart. This episode it was revealed she knew it all along that Cho Hee had been crushing on her, and not Young Guk. I guess all this time, Hwang Jeong wasn't even worried Young Guk will be snatched by Cho Hee but she was worried Young Guk would find out the truth. I thought Yi Jun would somehow acted out about his parents' divorce but I had not expected it would be done in this way. His wish was so simple yet it totally squeezes my heart. The little child actor did a really good job and so did the actress playing Hwang Jeong (although she's always good in her other projects). Twitter is filled with praises for Kim Seon Ho, and what can I say, he really did amazingly. And @abs-oluteM I LOL-ed when I come across a fair few posts praising him crying beautifully. Guess I'm not the only weirdo in the world. Now that the mystery is revealed, these series of misfortunate events were never Doo Shik's fault. From his parents to his grandfather's death, it really was just misfortune and some people with nasty mouth blaming it on Doo Shik at the funeral. This supertition was instilled in Doo Shik's back of mind for years. It manifested and traumatised him further after Hyung's death. PD's father was the one who was greedy and didn't heed Doo Shik's advice, and Hyung's death was merely an accident. However, it is almost certain that Doo Shik had ran the if scenarios too many times in his head during self-evaluation. If he had been more cautious in helping PD's father. If he hadn't ignored PD's father's calls. If he hadn't let Hyung drive. It really doesn't help either when both family members were too heartbroken and angry at the time to feel Doo Shik's pain and they all needed someone to blame and Doo Shik became that scapegoat. One of my favourite scene was Hye Jin rubbing Doo Shik's back to hugging him. It was such a long awaited comfort hug Doo Shik needed since 5 years ago. Honestly I'm surprised there was no news article published about KSH crying for over 20 hours for these scenes like they over-exaggerated it for Start Up (11 hours then). LOLLL. Coz by the beach scene with Hyungsoo-nim, Seon Ho's eyes looked so red even before we reached the scene she said she has stopped blaming him and his imaginery conversation with Hyung. It felt really good and healing Doo Shik finally being able to forgive himself. source
  7. @bairama Not just Yang Yang. Wu Lei looks really good too @abs-oluteM @Tofu YangYang: Pic: https://weibo.com/2090537982/KCTB0AMLo Vid: https://weibo.com/2090537982/KD3x51GG6 Wu Lei: Pic: https://weibo.com/2090537982/KCTiyFl28 Vid: https://weibo.com/2090537982/KD7wP5xqJ Deng Lun (someone's Oppa too isn't it?) Pic: https://weibo.com/2090537982/KCTrp9NTk Vid: https://weibo.com/2090537982/KD3tWAv9z Dilraba should have been there too, she was already dressed for the occasion xD More weird fashion, sighsss
  8. More preview Some cut scenes from My Name. 1) To take revenge, Ji Woo is thrown into a sea of men and had to fight her way through to survive. 2) Ji Woo eventually became Oh Hye Jin, a police officer at the Narcotic division and partner up with Jeon Pil Do (Ahn Bo Hyun). Han So Hee's Interview LOL @Chocolate I do admit initially I thought she might become Choi Moo Jin's lover. Or they have a loveline or something but surprisingly this drama focuses a lot on just Hye Jin/Ji Woo's path to revenge/truth. Did you enjoy the action scenes? :P Why didn't you like the Narcotic leader?
  9. 2021.10.17 Episode 3 Pre-release cut I was just wondering how come Ji Woon was in the same area where the Royals were hunting (because in My Country, I learnt that no one is allowed access when the Royals were hunting). With Ji Woon grabbing Dam and his reaction, it looks like he is trespassing to get the herbal plant.
  10. I just self-tortured myself rewatching this scene again & bawling my eyes out again... 😭😭😭😓😅 but it was so good 👍🏼
  11. Tissues are mandatory for this episode. I was prepared to cry for DS's story but it was the kids that broke my waterworks... beware!
  12. Supposedly "That Year, We" by Choi Woo Sik but this drama didn't even have much news yet about when it's actually happening.
  13. Ooooooh I didn't know we're going to have this web dramas too! Kang Han Na plays vampire! Hey @Chocolate! You recognise this guy? Hehehehe. More details here https://www.kpopmap.com/bite-sisters-2021-web-drama-cast-summary/
  14. Hahahaha @Alice Wonderland it's called Kiss of Life (at that time)
  15. My emotion was slightly affected in the beginning of episode 9. I nearly teared up when Kim Go Eun delivered her lines and breaking down in tears after Woong said she was being sensitive. I can see why/how upset Yumi. I also understand why Woong did what he did, and truthfully, it is such a guy thing to do as well. It was good that Yumi went to confront Sae Yi. And I was happy to see Yumi's priority list changed at that moment. It's what I had wanted her to do too. Looks like next week she decided to transfer to marketing team. The marketing department looks so bright, unlike her current area which is more gloomy looking. Even Yumi wearing light colours makes her look more energetic...? Looks like Woong's business is in trouble so much so that he moved out to save money, and Yumi let him stay with her. Still can't tell if he's the endgame. LOL. But I cannot believe the beard has made a return! This means the relationship has become complacent! The guy is starting to get lazy, lol.
  16. I chose C, B, A, D. Kim Seon Ho it is.
  17. Oh acting wise it is fine. Han So Hee was good. Everyone is actually. I was talking about the storyline - yes, it's quite predictable for me.
  18. @abs-oluteM @Chocolate I think I'd still choose the seaside over the mountains xD To be able to see the visual of the mountains, I'd have to CLIMB it first. That in itself is something I can't / not interested in doing unless you can helicopter me to the top! However with the oceans, I've seen the beautiful view of the blue ocean when I was in Taiwan, think it was Genting (by car) and it was soooo beautiful. Blue over Green for me too, hahaha.
  19. Hehehe, I'm just looking forward to Kim Seon Ho's acting tonight!
