  1. I'll be watching this because I love the 2 leads. Hahahaha....
  2. Hi All! I binged watched the last remaining (4 episodes) and wow. What a roller coaster packed into these 4! All I remember most is my heart breaking alongside Hyun Seung when the break up happened. I don't blame Song-Ah. It would have taken a toll eventually and the break up made Song Ah think about what she actually wanted. It would have become an unhealthy relationship because we can always see it was Hyun Seung doing all the giving, even from the beginning. He really handed his heart to her on a platter and he was fearless. But then his heart was skewered (and I am sure Song Ah too) but they really needed a step back. [I always believe that Korean dramas have time jumps so it was expected) I really enjoyed the last two episodes when it was time for Song Ah to buck up and do the chasing. You have a guy who is now wary of risking it all for love so now it's her turn. What about the Chae siblings? Ji Seung - I am glad she had a happy ending with Jae Woon. And she was the calm, mature voice who gave the best advice without overstepping into her siblings' relationships. She saw how happy Hyun Seung was and she must have also seen how devastated he was. I am glad she tried to advise Song Ah. I felt it was her way of letting Song Ah know that the ball is in her court and to understand why Hyun Seung was behaving that way. I could also hear a subtle threat - be serious about the relationship this time or else.... Yeon Seung - You could already sense something was off about her relationship with her husband. He was always so aloof so I expected that he was having an affair (this seems to be the trend in Korean dramas now) but wow. Unexpected. It is still a devastating blow to find out about your husband this way. The one I feel the most for is Ha Eun, as a child of course she cannot understand why her parents are divorcing but she already knew something was not right and encouraged her appa to make her omma feel better. She is really fortunate that her parents love her and are putting her first. And she has really great samchon and imo. The ending was as perfect as it can be. Our OTP are now securely in love, two weddings mentioned! (Ji Seung and Jae Woon, Hyun Seung and Song-Ah) and how Song Ah's relationship with her mother has improved. I will miss the Klar team too. At this moment, I am listening to the OST 1. Lean on Me 2. I feel you I hope to buy the OST once it's available. Thanks everyone for sharing a space to discuss about this drama! Til we meet in another thread!
  3. Do you know how much willpower it takes a guy to walk away from his girlfriend and leave her with her ex. HS has definitely matured.
  4. Woooo... a thread just for him! But ....he is young enough to be my student so technically I am his noona. Hahahha
  5. Back with thoughts of Ep 11. I was wondering who in heavens name would go camping in minus degree temperature but go figure. Hahahaha. Have to admit that visually both WJA and RoWoon are aesthetically pleasing and I can stare at them the whole day. It is the first move to coupledom and skinship although I am not liking the idea that it will be HS who vows to risk it all for love. *too jaded by multiple dramas that this is a portent of doom* The JS-HJ story. I still don't really get why she is so utterly obsessed by him but I suppose sometimes there is no reason. I still haven't forgiven him for what he did to SA and I wish he was a stronger man and face the tsunami wave which is HJ. I am not sure why they showed Ji Seung, the eldest sister's fiancé popping up when it doesn't seem to be any conflict in that direction, unless it's a plot device for her to admit she is dating someone. And now whenever I see the second sister, Yoon Seung, I feel so bad for her. *Yes, I know what happened in Ep 12* She was trying her best to be friends with her husband's good friend and sigh. I find it odd that he would still remain friends with this man who has a shared history with him. This shows that he (YS's husband) is also uncertain about where he stands. He will hurt his wife, that's inevitable. When I watched them from Ep 1, something was just off about her husband. He was too detached from his wife and daughter. I started suspecting something was up with him but never expected the story to go in this direction. It was cute how they were trying to hide the relationship but failed badly. And what happened with BM Seo, I think is more common than anyone may think. I love how they came up with the idea to one-up BM Seo. Not sure if he will be a formidable enemy. The kiss scenes are impressively good. I worried for HS's neck in the first kiss scene but it looks like they have adjusted to the height difference. LOL. And Kim Mi Kyung! She acted so well as the weary and jaded mother of JS. She looked like she was just surviving. I choose to believe that she said those last words to JS in order for him to finally forget about her and the past. Move on - that seems to be what she was saying. PS. My chosen funny moment is this scene. I feel that the barriers that are left in the final 4 episodes are: 1. SA's mother and how she will face the fact the SA is dating HS seriously. 2. Yoon Seung - What will she do about what she knows about her husband and what about Ha-Eun? *hurt that little girl and I'll come after you with a pitchfork* 3. Ji Seung - I dread to think about JW's grandfather. Will they cover this story in the final 4 episodes? 4. JS and HJ - toxic relationship - how can JS really cut himself off from HJ?
  6. Hi! A bit under the weather but will try and share my thoughts later after I watch Ep 12. I know from spoilers that the hubby and friend story has now come out of the closet. *sorry, couldn't resist* Sadly, I have known of such marriages due to pressure from family to get married. And there are cases of the men, especially, who can conceive a child with his wife to ease the pressure but still maintain their secret life. I don't envy how she is going to handle the situation, much less what impact it will have on their daughter. But seriously, were we surprised by this? He was too indifferent to her from the beginning and I was wondering what was up with him. He looked like he was just going through the motions in his marriage. I don't expect sparks and fireworks in every relationship but he did not show any passion to his wife (compared to red-blooded Jae Woon and Hyun Seung). Sigh.
  7. I haven't watched the episode but went on Twitter. Tons of stuff about the skinship but not much mention about what happened at work. LOL Or about the other Chae siblings too.... Thank you @abs-oluteMfor the recaps. I guess I'll watch tomorrow with subs and put my two cents then.
  8. @mademoiselle I think sleazy managers are the norm in the workplace. There is always bound to be one or more of them. I can't wait for tonight's episode!
  9. Looks like a lot of people are falling in love with RoWoon. LOL. He is as young as my students! Now I feel old. Haha. He has that mix of youthful naiveté and the physicality of a mature man. What a mix! You don't know whether to pinch his cheeks or to cuddle him.
  10. Yes. I was impressed as we could see how he was feeling in that scene. Even the murderous glare he gave his college mate for introducing someone to SA. Proud boyfriend look Pursed lips and getting unhappy Not as handsome as me though
  11. I love the BTS of him cringing. Hahahaha. I also feel the cheesiness of it all but hey, if RoWoon was in front of me saying all these things, give me a ladle and I'll scoop it all up!
  12. LOL. The kiss. I think HS's actions so far has been romantic. Yes, he was quite aggressive in the first 2 episodes but it looks like HS learned the art of patience. I feel JS's dad's death is a plot device to postpone the wedding and it looks like it will end the engagement. Not sure how JS will leave unscathed (from both his HJ and the granddad) I think the ship has sailed the port for him and SA. But you can see he still has feelings for her even when he was engaged. So I expect angst to start appearing by Ep 11 and 12. PS. I can't figure out the chef. But with more knowledge about how they (HS's sister and her doctor husband) got married, it seemed that he was, as she put in, indifferent to everything. He seems to be going through the motions at home (even though you can see he cares for his wife and daughter). I hope there is a bit more progression within that story.
  13. His niece is wise beyond her years! Looking forward to the episode tonight! Thank you for the welcome!
