@Tofu Yes, it’s interesting to discuss the different povs we all have when watching a drama. I hope it gets less busy as well but do tell me what you decide on watching next. I kind of want to check out Side Story of Fox Volant.

Hello guys. I just got done watching the final episode and I’m ready to share my thoughts. First of all I want to say that I always enjoy chatting about dramas with @NiteWalkerand @Tofu. Plus I’m always happy to chat with anyone who enjoys watching dramas. I’m glad you guys really loved LBDAF and respect your opinions. Not everyone will like the same things and it’s okay as long as we respect each other’s point of view. For me personally Cang Lan Jue wasn’t great. The story isn’t anything I haven’t seen before and for some reason I found myself not being able to connect with the characters. I didn’t even get close to getting teary eyed while watching the emotional scenes. I found myself having to ff through scenes and feel that the second half wasn’t as good. This drama had great CGI for sure and it made it stand out from other dramas but that’s not enough for me. The best part of CLJ for me was the ost. I do think Didi improved his acting compared to his performance in Miss The Dragon. As his fan I’m always looking forward to his upcoming projects and hope to enjoy watching his work. I will wait for his next character and see how it goes. I still think his best character until now has been Ning Que and I can’t wait till I like another one of his characters just as much.

Hello guys hope everyone is doing well. @NiteWalker@Yana From what I know Didi is still dating his long term girlfriend. Before he became this popular he was spotted with his gf and his agency never denied it. Now that he’s become famous WHD’s girlfriend was on hot search and his agency didn’t deny it. His agency only said it’s not true that he’s engaged. Several people where posting photos of one of his staff member saying she’s his gf lol. So that’s why his agency denied those false rumors. This is one of the reasons I personally don’t like to ship actors as real life cps. I stick to shipping drama cps only (Nitewalker knows me well and knows I’m probably the biggest NingSang shipper lol). Though it’s easy to ship when actors have good on screen chemistry. Without that chemistry we wouldn’t ship drama cps. @Tofu I’m glad Didi and Esther got along so well. The few bts I’ve seen is good. I remember he was always play fighting with YiRen. Difference is I didn’t get much bts with them ( I’d say I got a few crumbs lol). But he thinks of her as his bestie within the circle as well as family so I’m happy. Anyways let’s enjoy the last few episodes. I’ll let y’all take care of shipping DFQC and XL. I’m too busy with work and have no time. I can barely keep up.

Hello, finally caught up with all 28 eps. It’s getting a bit more interesting. This drama has some of the best CGI and good attention to detail. This makes it stand out more than the other recent xianxia dramas. It’s still pretty much the same usual story but with good chemistry between the leads. It has a great ost which helps too. Let’s see how the reaming eps go.

@Tofu @NiteWalker @Yana Haven’t gotten past ep 9. It’s the weekend maybe I can now catch up. I hate love triangles and hope they don’t drag this out to long or I’ll lose interest lol. Worst case scenario I’ll skip a lot of scenes haha.

The obsession with Didi’s eyebrows lol. Well done! I’m glad you are impressed with his acting. In my opinion his best acting is as NQ in EN 2. Glad to see he improved from MTD. Look forward to see more emotional scenes.

@NiteWalker Oh lol. I agree I found no chemistry between Didi and Zhu Xudan either. Lol, yes we didn’t like MTD at all. You can’t blame us though we have good reasons. You know I love Didi but I couldn’t watch MTD.

I’m done watching 6 episodes and I like it. It’s a cute and funny drama. I like the chemistry between Didi and Esther. I have only liked two Xianxia dramas and many have been dropped so I’m happy I like this one. Yay. Lol. Looking forward to the next eps @TofuThe struggle is real haha. If only we were paid to watch dramas and fan girl. What about Didi’s eyebrows @NiteWalker? Lol. Glad you’re liking the drama as well.

I have yet to watch Zhang Yunlong dramas so it’ll be a first for me. I’m glad you like them both. YiRen is petite and looks young so you couldn’t tell there was am age gap with her young co stars.

She is a very lovable person and really good actress.

You’re right the dubbing really does affect a drama. Hope she can do it herself that way it’s so much better.

@Tofu I’ll remind you to watch this drama haha. I’m really excited for this one cause YiRen finally got an older ml. She always has the younger guys haha. Waiting to see how good the chemistry is between YiYi and Yunlong.
