  1. I am only able to continue watching today from ep.6 where I left off the last time. Currently at ep.11 where Da Eun is trying to get back to her work and every patients and guardians are being biased against her. It made me so very angry that they couldn't reflect on their own situation and be more considerate of her. Is that what they want other people to treat themselves or their loved ones when they're declared recovered and go back into society? I am just really glad Da Eun's team of nurses and doctors are all on her side.
  2. Just finished ep.5. I am not sure how to feel about this drama. There are parts that I like, but mostly I feel that it's kinda boring, going back and forth on some same issues... Not much development. I might put it on hold.
  3. All in the name of "recharging" so cute.... Urgh but then here comes the noble idiocy trope. Forgiven though, with the obligatory kiss scene at ep.8 Woohoo to the shortest time of noble idiocy! Gosh, I'm glad I was late in starting ep.7 coz then I could immediately find out what happened to Gu Won. Course I know he won't die, but that stab was right at the heart's location! How can I not worry?! Okay, I might have to take back my bet about Seuk Hoon being the mysterious man in black. Yet I still want to wait and observe. Thing is, the attacker obviously in touch with Do Kyung... So confused now about who is the person behind death of Madam Ju. Or maybe there are more than 1 villain for different reasons. @mademoiselle thanks for the fashion info. I love a lot of Do Hee's attires. And definitely have been wondering about the necklace. Love its simplicity (not the price tag, lol). Love the earrings with the wedding dress too. Watching My Demon made me want so much to meet Song Kang in person
  4. The first two episodes (story/plot/character introductions) were not impressive tbh... Still think so. I love both of them, and think the pairing is amazing. Best ever for both of them. And yes, their comedic timing are great. Yes yes... Lee Sang Yi psst... I haven't finished KTL
  5. Finished all 6 episodes. I think this is my favourite ongoing drama now... haha... to think I almost didn't want to continue. I really like the banter and push-pull between these two. Not to mention they're so visually pleasing to the eyes. I'm happy that they have a lot of screen time together, yet we're still given enough screen time of other characters for the story progress. I'm going to bet my money that the person who killed Madam Ju by switching the pills is Seok Hoon. Guessing based on the little bit of chin shown when Madam Ju was scolding the man in black that day before her death. I've tried to play match with the chins of older brother and the son. And the one that matches most is Seok Hoon. It is also too obvious that both brother and son have the same lighter. The son also has tendency towards violence with little self-control, so he won't do the switching pills mode, but will kill mercilessly with his own hands. Do Hee's necklace keeps catching my attention. Apart from loving the simple styling, I think it might have a meaning later? If not, why would she be wearing it day in day out? It's rather unusual that drama character do that, unless it means something. Also love their wedding rings. Simple but it just stands out. Though it's sad to see Madam Ju departed so soon, I'm glad for that because I think I'm not ready to see this actress again after Strong Girl Nam Soon I need to see her next in very different garb/role to erase the grandma character there. She was fun as the grandma but her romance line was a bit too much later into the story. Madam Ju's departure also made Do Hee's story more interesting now.
  6. Ep.4 is so cute! I love seeing how he always try to hold her hand and she always try to keep her hands away. The way he was always looking at her hand intensely, almost like lusting for it When they were in that small pantry room, the tension was heating up. Then at the end the way she saved him by bravely charging through the thugs. And then the tango scene
  7. Haha.... and to have the clothes line set up where there are automatic garden sprinklers....
  8. Finished all 6 episodes... Enjoying them, mostly because of LSY's acting. And the mystery behind the time travelling. Agree with you about this. But I've learned to ignore any "side" corporate stuff, unless it is a workplace drama. One sided crush on Tae Ha, and I think she is the mysterious person playing with lighter. Not necessarily double agent. Same reasons for me too. I am curious how they will wrap the story up.
  9. Started this today. Very interesting pilot episode. Didn't expect the time travel to happen so early in the series. Was kinda enjoying the story in the joseon period.
  10. Hahahaa... I'm coming, chingu-deul... Thanks for always including me in the party! This is on my watch list because I like LSY. Not too sure about the coupling with BIH, but the story seems interesting and don't know since when, I somehow enjoy modern and sageuk combination drama. Actually one of the main reasons for me so behind with drama watching is because my internet has been so bad lately. It frustrates me when I have to keep waiting for the drama to load, so I just give up and do something else. It's worse when I'm watching C-dramas, which is why I have one great drama being on hold for the time being.
  11. I've started this today. Only up to ep.2 now. Tbh, the story is really not that great. The script (meaning the lines and dialogues) is quite boring, imho. There are a lot of talking, but they seems of no importance, if you know what I mean. The threats are not convincing, everyone's a bit of a comic. I'm not that drawn in by any of the characters at all. But..., I'm staying just to watch two beautiful beings on the screen. It's soothing to my tired eyes.
  12. Coming... coming... I promise I will start soon...
  13. I've kinda putting this on hold. Still at ep.7. Looks like it's time to pick it up...
  14. How stupid can the brother be to be so easily deceived by that man... #rolleyes Ep.10 has lots going on. More complete picture of their past life. The crossing the pond on stones appeared again, now in context, and got me teary... And I guessed correctly who that evil man is!
  15. I finished 2 episodes today.... Yes, it's quite engaging which is why I couldn't stop watching. And then there's mysterious murders too. Of course I'm all the more on board to watch. I like the characterization of FL here, though she could be a bit narcissistic about her beauty. Their banter at the exhibition... But really, I find Nana is so beautiful here. However, I can't say the same about the amazing spark... I actually don't really feel any chemistry yet between the two.
  16. I liked him in Nokdu, but not feeling him too much for Daily Dose of Sunshine... Cupid too actually, basing on trailers alone though. I should probably get started on that...
  17. Only taking glimpses at your comments, and now am seriously considering if I should just wait for S3 before starting S2 at all.... I guess as long as I can avoid spoilers floating around, I should be fine?
  18. I'm falling in love with him Am still on ep.9 too. I didn't have time last week, so been binging today from ep.7 and need to take a break now. Still enjoying the drama so much though, I even watched most part on normal speed, haha...
  19. Thanks for the tag. I'm pretty sure I watched fewer dramas this year, accompanied by an increase my drama-dropping rate That said, I still have problems reviewing all my 2023 dramas. Don't be surprised if I copied some of the answers above, lol... Be back asap (but not so soon too, lol, as I happen to have a deadline to meet this week)
  20. Okay, I need to take back what I said... Assuming every month of cleaning uninhabited island, 15 years he could only cover 180 islands. Pardon my ignorance... lol...
  21. I love love love the ending This drama is so beautifully directed and edited. How from one small stage we transitioned to the big stage. I got tears of joy welling up my eyes. Another scene that got me also was during Ran Joo's mother's passing. Not much shown, yet the feel was strong. Contrary to most, I'm fine with the bio-dad passing. He was too evil to ever realise he is in the wrong. Even while taking his own life, he was doing it to punish his family first and foremost. I think if he was jailed, he would never ever grant his wife a divorce, so they would never have closure and a new life. Agree. Maybe some community service. Could that family's decision of taking their own life had an effect too on the verdict? No. Because he died of suicide. Same here. Which is why I wasn't that hopeful he would survive, especially with that much blood shown. Should they have made the stab on the stomach? But the bio-dad is so evil smart, he knew to fo for the neck. It would make him look inconsistent if he only stabbed the stomach. Well, at least they made it believable that Dad fell into a coma, and I also love the scenes where everyone, one by one, is calling him earnestly to come back. The best was of course how his wife called him ~ "I want to live as your wife". I was sobbing so much the first 15 minutes of the show. I should've gone to bed and not watch the finale first, because my eyes were already swollen from ep.11, but I had to know whether he pulled through or not! So yeah, you're looking at lacking-of-sleep panda here. I guess my only wonder (since the beginning) was about what (or if any) difference would it make if the writer had made the period of being castaway on isolated island be 10 years instead of 15 years? Somehow that is easier to accept. I tried to think back on my life 15 years ago, and that's a really long time even when filled with so many events and milestones. I just cannot imagine how to stay sane (and easily adapt back to modern life) after 15 years being a castaway. Besides, how many deserted islands are there around Korea that it took Ki Ho 15 years to finally find the right island? You know what I mean? Haha... never mind me. Just letting this out of my system.
  22. Ep.11 should come with a warning to prepare a box of tissues while watching... I lost count how many times I wiped away the tears streaming from my eyes. And at the end of it, when I finally have a reason to smile, they got me crying again at that last minute, though I had already expected what will happen but still, the desperation that Woo Hak was displaying got me tearing again. I didn't see the preview, so I have no idea what happened to their true father in the next episode. I really hope he will be alright, but am not very hopeful tbh... This drama has very well written relationships (the ups and downs, the good the bad) and very well presented to the viewers that you cannot not be touched by what the characters are experiencing.
  23. Thanks for the tag chingu... I am not sure about this, especially I have a bad habit of starting but not finishing period dramas, LOL... Too slow
