  1. @stroppyse @SilverMoonTea Does that mean if I watch this whole series, you'll both watch all of Twenty Five Twenty One too? That character will forever haunt us. I watched up to episode two and it's not bad but I'm not entirely invested yet. I loved the confrontation with Yoon Park's character. He deserved it for all the things he did. I understand he was upset that she didn't put much time into their relationship, but he should have communicated that with her. This drama is moving at lightning speed though, even the ex got together and married within what...two months? I do plan on watching episode 3/4 and will decide afterwards.
  2. @abs-oluteM - A part of me feels bad for liking Seol In Ah with Kim Min Kyu, because I loved her with Kim Jae Young before too. 😥😅
  3. Same! On top of all of that, she's so empathetic too. She ran around for two hours looking for his dad because she felt so bad for mistaking his dad for a debt collector.
  4. Episode 19-24 Teasers Episode 25 Teaser Episode 26 Teaser
  5. Thanks for sharing this! Seems like we have some angst coming up soon for the leads. Agreed! Nothing super extraordinary but I love the chemistry between the leads. I like that the romance is not the main focus even those it's the drive for many of Liang Yi's actions. I'm caught up to the most recent episodes now and just a few thoughts I have so far: Qiu Yan, while smart, can be really set in her ways and a bit reckless -- even meddlesome at times too. I can't understand why Qiu Min left the group when they escaped. She said something about making it on her own, but she went to Qin Xuan? After a night of drinking, Qiu Min consoled Qin Xuan by allowing him to mistaken her for Qiu Yan -- they ended up sleeping together. Qiu Min is timid and less willing to speak her mind but she has a cunning side too. Going back to the escape, I'm glad all the ladies decided to set aside their difference and band together to escape. I was worried when Qiu Ying was disclosing things to Yuan Lang. Qiu Yan and Liang Yi faking their relationship is hilarious but I love see both of them together! I hope they realize their feelings soon -- seems like Liang Yi has realized his though. Jeremy Tsui.
  6. Huang Riying. She's in Destiny of Love with Darren. I've definitely watch more but I prefer them to be 36 episodes or less. Usually when they are more than that, I know it's going to drag on a lot especially for the modern dramas. For historical dramas, I can handle more episodes. Thankfully, their episodes are roughly 30-45 minutes long. YES!! He does give off that kind of vibe! Is it out already? I didn't realized it was out and would love to see their story continue because it was too brief in the movie. By the way, I found my first love of the year. @abs-oluteM You are joining soon, right?
  7. Same here! I love his voice and can't get enough of it.
  8. Wait...don't you live in the same country as @Chocolate too? Hahaha!
  9. WAH?! You want to see office drama like this in real life? Which character will you play in your office romance?
  10. @NiteWalker I got lost binging The Autumn Ballad (watch it when you have time) so will start this tonight after I finish the rest of TAB. But Kido Gao is really handsome! He played the second male lead in Love is Sweet but I dislike that his character got really strange towards the end of that drama. Good to see him in something else!
  11. Let me know how you like it if you start watching it! So far, I'm enjoying it. The female lead can be a little reckless (and too much) at times but she has a lot of odds against her. I can understand that she's had to be that way to survive and some of the points she brings up makes sense too. I love Jeremy Tsui and hope that he forever stays in historical dramas. I think he match the hairstyle in that period really well.
  12. It did! I watched a bit of episode one but I couldn't get into it so I stopped. Did you or are you watching it?
  13. Abs, I stopped after episode one. I thought it was interesting to but The Autumn Ballad is my go-to Chinese drama right now.
  14. @movingwheel I think both stories are really interesting. I hope they get released one after another, but chances are Who Rules the World will air first since it finished filming before Love Like the Galaxy. This drama might not air until later in 2022.
  15. @40somethingahjumma @IpohBanana Have you tried this drama? It's actually not too bad.
  16. I have not because it doesn't have subtitles. I have seen one of the guys on that show on other shows though. I think he's quite popular because of his looks. Yes, agreed. I got bored a bit towards the end because it was very obvious who will win. I think the earlier episodes were entertaining and I would have 100% freak out if my sleeping area started filling up with water.
  17. Are they not going to include her first love/childhood friend? I considered him the second male lead, although, he was not a strong second male lead. For the second couple, there was that rival of hers but it was so brief that I don't think her appearance was enough to call it a second female lead. Haha!
  18. Both? Haha! I dislike it when there are more then 36 episodes, that's like my max if I'm going to watch without skipping. Otherwise, anything above that, I will most likely always skip. I have a bad habit of skipping scenes of characters I don't really care for. I watched him in a movie with @abs-oluteM's love Johnny before and hated his character -- very materialistic and snobby. I love xianxia dramas and watched one with him, the beginning was good but when the leads got together it was a mess. I didn't even watch the second season. He has another one coming out with an actress that @NiteWalker likes -- still very pretty in it. He is way too pretty and I don't know if I can ever call him an oppa too. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I will watch it just for Jasper because he's too adorable and I don't think he'll have any dramas out this year. @mademoiselle @ssteph I don't lend any of my books out unless I know the other person also respect books too. My little sister got upset at me once because I wouldn't lend her a book of mine. It's because she's very careless with books and I knew she would bend the cover or it'll come back dirty in some ways.
  19. I know! What's is this protein drink that's soooooo delicious?!
  20. @NiteWalker I will watch the badly subbed episodes for you! I started on episode one already. So funny that she cooked a full meal from her office desk.
  21. He was supposed to be the male lead in the weekend drama, Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life, but he was sidelined when the second male lead became more popular. They wanted a redemption arc for the cheating ex-husband so they went that route instead of sticking to the original. It was upsetting because each episode, you waited for the ex-husband storyline to end but realized it wasn't because Yoon Park's scenes just got less and less. I'm with @abs-oluteM and @gilaswan on how I feel about 2521. I enjoyed that one more than I thought, maybe the key was having low expectations in the beginning. Hahaha! I will give this office scandal a shot this weekend. I hope this never happens at my workplace. Haha! It would be so awkward for everyone since my workplace only has 12 people at our main office.
  22. Hahahaha!! I tend to like the men with monolids and sunshine smiles like @SilverMoonTea calls it. Patrick Shih and Park Seo Joon also look alike -- only when Patrick is shaved. He can grow a beard/mustache pretty quickly and when he does, momentarily, he is no long an oppa. His dramas haven't been the greatest. The scientist one lacked direction after a while and I didn't watch the other two. Don't Forget I Love You looks like it'll be sad. The chemistry doesn't look too bad from the trailer and posters they've released. Hahahaha! I love Gong Yoo. I hope he has a movie/drama project coming out soon. I cannot believe you finished this. Hahaha! Darren is another actor who went to mainland China for work too. He has a few dramas out and filmed one or two last year too. I do get similar vibes from Paul and Jasper. I don't think they have worked together before but Taiwan entertainment world is pretty small. I wished they produced more dramas. What aired after Godless?
