In 'Curtain Call', acting actors are adding strength to the drama with a special lineup.

 

KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Curtain Call' has unveiled a special lineup of actors who lead various episodes in each episode. Jang Hye Jin, Choi Jeong Won, Eui Je Jeong, Kim Kang Hyeon, Da Won, Park Ji Won, Baek Jin Hee who will appear in the 9th episode to be broadcast next week, and Choi Jeong Woo in the 10th episode are the main characters.

 

Jang Hye Jin, Choi Jeong Won, and Chung Eui Je received intense attention from viewers for their special appearances in the first half of 'Curtain Call', which is providing excitement and fun as the last wish fulfillment project of Geum Soon  (played by Go Doo Shim)

 

Jang Hye-jin played the role of Oh Ga Young, the mother of Yoo Jae Heon's fake wife Seo Yoon Hee (Jung Ji So) showing off her presence until the 7th episode. She is a lawyer in charge of the sale of Hotel Nakwon.

 

In the last two episodes, Choi Jeong Won left a strong impression as a confessional man who spreads a storm of affection for Song Hyo-jin (Jung Yu Jin) as Yoo Ja Heon.

 

Chung Eui Ne appeared in episodes 3 and 8 as Mu Nin, who changed the life of Geum Soon.

 

Baek Jin Hee is scheduled to appear in episode 9, which airs on the 5th as Jin Suk who lives in his heart by Li Mun Sung (played by Noh Sang Hyun), the real grandson of Jeon Je Soon .

 

Choi Jeong Woo will appear in episode 10, which airs on the 6th, as Cheol Jin, who played a decisive role in the separation of Jang Mun Soon from her North Korean husband Jong Moon during the Heungnam evacuation operation in the 1950s.

 

Kim Kang Hyun appears from episode 10 as a reporter who drives Park Se Yeon (played by Ha Ji Won) into a corner to get a scoop.

 

Da Won will appear in the 11th episode, which airs on the 12th, as Jung Sang Cheol, the former manager of Hotel Nakwon,  he will show young Sang Cheol's winding life through intense action acting.

 

In the same episode, Park Ji Won plays the role of Yoon Jung Sook in her youth, who sadly looks at the young Jung Sang Cheol.

 

The production company of 'Curtain Call' said, "Thanks to the special appearances of outstanding actors, the charm of the work has been revived even more splendidly."

'Curtain Call' An unusual atmosphere flows in the romance between Park Se Yeon and Bae Dong Jae.

 

In the KBS 2TV drama 'Curtain Call' (Director: Yoon Sang Ho / Screenplay: Jo Seong Geol / Producer: Victory Contents), Park Se Yeon (Ha Ji Won) and Bae Dong Jae (Kwon Sang Woo) spend time together, who were running parallel lines of romance.

 

Earlier, the two were about to get married,  it's because Bae Dong Jae couldn't forget Park Se Yeon and tried to win her heart again, but Park Se Yeon did not accept it. She lifted her eyes as her lip rose in a tender half-smile.

 

In the midst of this, the stills released ahead of the main broadcast show the visual couple of Hotel Nakwon Park Se Yeon and Bae Dong Jae eating together at a luxurious restaurant.

I am not sure if I am the only person still watching this. @twink_twink_ are you still watching this?

 

Though I was almost about to drop this, the drama is somewhat turning itself around in episode 8. For one the real grandson has managed to come to SK , and I cannot wait to see how things will turn out as he is going to go look for his grandmother and is well aware of how wealthy this family is. Of course he's been presented as a thug but I think that was because he needed to survive, and find a way to escape to SK. I feel quite sorry for him. Initially I was wondering if the old lady should ever find out the truth about him but given that she's leaving her inheritance etc to him , it should not be left to the decision of the fake grandson & Mr Jeong. Plus this young man seems to have suffered enough and should have the opportunity to be reunited with his grandma - the only person he knows from SK.

 

While there's still ongoing tug of war between the older brother and SY , I wish they gave us more insight as to why the older bro is so against keeping the hotel. I don't see money as his main motivation. And if it's because he feels that the hotel and his grandma's obsession to find her NK son were the reasons his parents died , then it is a terribly weak excuse as his folks died in an accident. The only one with some character development is 2nd brother - Choi Dae Hoon's character. From being a party loving chaebol heir , he's beginning to question about his future and what he should do about it. Perhaps he will end up being the bridge to reconcile his older siblings. 

 

The other interesting & most needed development is that SY finally finds out from her girlfriend ( the air stewardess) that her fake cousin is actually a stage actor. Crap is about to hit the ceiling on this one  , and I am looking forward to how this will unfold.

Funny enough I don't think the drama is that great yet I never thought of dropping it while I did with other shows that are probably a lot better lol (dropped Reborn Rich cause I was bored but people are praising it so much). 

Things are finally getting interesting, my favorite scene was defintely Moonseong and Jaeheon meeting and actually recognizing each other, I'm so glad the real grandson is finally here. Now that Seyeon knows the truth her interactions with Jaeheon suddenly seem a little creepy lol, she did look like she was uncomfortable.

Still trying to figure out the ex, idk what we are supposed to think of his character, he doesn't really seem like a bad guy when he doesn't push the whole marriage thing.

Segyu is still my favorite character, I like him so much.

I just watched this and oh wow that scene was the highlight! The real RMS telling the fake one that he is here. I am all for the real grandson finding his place in this family. But I have a feeling that SeJun is going to make use of this to get the real RMS to be on his side - at the moment it seems that he thinks SY was the one who arranged for the fake RMS. 
 

I know Mr Jeong had good intentions when he decided on this elaborate con but I think what has become unfair is that the real grandson was denied of his rights to meet his grandmother. Seeing how hard life was for RMS in North Korea, I can understand why he did the things he did to survive. Mr Jeong will have a lot to answer to the old lady once this is revealed. And from the preview, it won't be long since the real RMS has gone to see her. Though, I have a feeling he may not tell her who he is yet. 

 

I wonder what will happen to Jae Hoon once this is revealed? I read someone say there could be legal repercussions and he could go to jail.

Jaeheon makes me want to slap him every two minutes istg. Yoonhee my girl, I need you to forget this dumbass and find someone worthy of you who treats you better. I've noticed those two got a lot less screen time together compared to the first half of the show.

We finally met the child grandmas husband saved back then, interesting I guess, shows how many people are actually affected by her grandson returning.

Seyeon revealed to Jaeheon that she knows he is fake, I hope this doesn't mean the start of a romance between the two cause I still don't see the appeal on her side and still hate the idea in general lol.

Also did I miss something or did Segyu not have a single scene this episode, how rude.

'Curtain Call' Yoo Jae Heon revealed his identity to Park Se Yeon.

 

In the KBS2TV Monday-Tuesday drama 'Curtain Call', which aired on the afternoon of the 6th, Yoo Jae Heon (played by Kang Ha Neul) felt guilty towards Grandma (played by Go Doo Shim) for the existence of the real Li Moon Seong (played by Noh Sang Hyun).

After taking a walk with Grandma that day, Yoo Jae Heon escorted her. In response, Grandma complained to him, "Why do you take me there every time?

Yoo Jae Heon turned around and said, "Grandma, I don't think there are many days left for me to play the role of Ri Moon Seong." Jung Sang Cheol (played by Sung Dong Il) said to Yoo Jae Heon, "Now I'm going to reveal the truth."

Meanwhile, Park Se Yeon (played by Ha Ji Won) called Yoo Jae Heon separately and suggested to him to quit the hotel job. She then recommended, "It's not bad to spend time with my grandmother."

Yoo Jae Heon was worried about Park Se Yeon, but she said, "Does it's because you're my younger brother?" Park Se Yeon said, "Yes, that's right. We're just strangers. Aren't we? Yoo Jae Heon?"

At first I thought that Mr Jeong was that kid. But turns out the kid is now a judge who's still very much grateful to grandma. I wonder what his purpose will be going forward. 

 

As someone hired to do this job, JH actually did a very good job. He brought some happiness to grandma . But the issue I had with Jae Hoon was that he could not hold back the feelings he has for SY. That's why he was always jumping in when it came to her.  So I thought this was timely

I too am hoping they don't force a love line because it would just seem so completely out of place - SY barely knows the real JH. Plus, the reality is that JH did do this for money - not that this was for charity. And what's with  this on & off fiancé ( JSW's character) - so in love with SY that he is being a willing participant of a marriage of convenience, and being tossed around by the two Park siblings? 

 

But from the preview it does seem like grandma will realise that RMS is the real grandson isn't it? In some ways, I am kind of happy he approached her and spoke to her first without being "manipulated" by anyone. At the end of the day, I don't see him as someone after the inheritance. He just really wants to get to know her and find closure for his own father's death. 

 

And yes I miss SeGyu...no scenes at all last night.

Ep.9-10 is definitely more watchable. I guess because we’re spared of the cringey noona-dongsaeng’s scenes? 😂 I also like that fake MS is finally spending time with Grandma. The appearance of real MS in Korea certainly made me more invested to the story. He is one complex character that I want to know more about. I really like the last scene where he showed up in front of Grandma. I think she recognizes him. 
 

Well, from the preview, it seems that SY is upset  with fake MS more because she thought all his past interactions with her were all just an act? Not so much because he deceived the family? 😅 I also hope no romance will be forced between them. I dunno, it’s just weird seeing her sketching a picture of Grandma, herself and MS only. I mean, why not Grandma with all the 4 grandchildren? Or, why not just Grandma and MS only? You know what I mean? What does that make SJ and SG, if only herself and MS in the painting? And not even including MS’s wife 😅 Haha, still feeling real weirded out about this aspect of the story. Okay, maybe her painting is far from complete. Maybe she will include other members of the family.

What is interesting about the confrontation between the two grandchildren is that it is a tight battle between the one who has to cover up the truth and the one who has to reveal the truth. Yoo Jae Heon felt guilty for cheating on the money order in the beginning, but he had a small wish to give him one more happy memory in the heart of treating him sincerely. For the small happiness that will warmly decorate his grandmother's last life, he is in a situation where he must not be seen until the end.

I was surprised they needed to address how JH looked exactly like grandma's first husband. Now I wonder if there is some sort of birth secret for Jae Hoon? LOL...but it won't make sense. I am also not excited for the upcoming confession. It feels so terribly out of place - what made me squirm was when SY asked if he was treating her sincerely under all that acting. For me, why does it even matter when these two are clearly hired for the job. So I am guessing that she felt something too....a bit yucky considering that before this fake RMS is her "cousin" and is "married".

 

I think I know what  throws this show off for me ...the real RMS should have been the first lead. His character is the one that we  feel most sympathetic towards and they could have developed his arc a lot more. Kang Ha Neul could have easily played the role and there won't be issues of not having enough star power.  Jae Hoon's character does not garner enough sympathy from the audience. TBH , we barely know the real him and we see him act flustered and silly so much that I don't feel for the character. 

 

Grandma intuitively knows that the real RMS is her grandson. She isn't saying it but she is sensing something. The real RMS is a good person. He could have revealed the truth to the world but he decided not to because of  grandma's condition. I hope they truly get to reconcile

When she was asking that, I kept thinking in my mind, you're out with someone's husband! I don't know what the English subs was, but she was talking about "the good times we spent together" "those memories we have" in the Chinese subs. I was like, this is like a dialogue only romantic couples have... #eyeroll #smh

Someone commented that could it be that the grandfather have another child with another woman who actually managed to escape into SK. Since we don't know the parents of Jae Hoon yet, it is very possible. Too makjang though, haha....

The only reason he is the ML seems to be because he will be the one to have the love line with the female lead. Tbh, this kind of story, romance is not that needed. I would've stayed to watch grandma and grandson (fake and/or real) story developing.

The scenes of them two at the beginning were amazing for me. I want more.
