Plot Summary

 

Han Hae-Na (Park Gyu Young) is a single woman and she teaches at a high school. She seems to have an ordinary life, but her family has a secret. Due to her ancestor's fault, Han Hae-Na's family has been cursed for generations. The curse causes her family, when they kiss someone, to turn into a dog at midnight for 6 hours. Afterwards, they revert back to their normal appearance. This transformation repeats itself every night until that person, in their dog appearance, kisses the same person.

 

Due to her family's curse, when Han Hae-Na meets a man for a potential romantic relationship, she asks that person to not kiss her. This usually leads the men to leave her. One night, Han Hae-Na, who is drunk, accidentally kisses Jin Seo-Won (Cha Eun-Woo). He is a teacher at the same high school, but they are not even close as colleagues. Han Hae-Na soon turns into panic mode and she keeps approaching Jin Seo-Won for a chance to have another kiss.

 

Meanwhile, Jin Seo-Won has a fear of dogs because of something that happened to him when he was young. He is a teacher with good looks and charisma. He is popular with the students.

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo Confirmed To Star In New Romance Drama

 

It’s official: ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo will be starring in the upcoming drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (working title)!

 

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “A Good Day to Be a Dog” is a fantasy romance drama about a woman who is cursed to transform into a dog every time she kisses a man. However, the only person who can undo her curse is a man who is afraid of dogs due to a traumatic event he can no longer remember.

 

On September 5, the producers of the upcoming drama adaptation confirmed that Cha Eun Woo would be starring as male lead Jin Seo Won, who is terrified of dogs due to a past incident.

 

Although Jin Seo Won has spent his life hiding his trauma and sorrowful past behind his handsome looks and aloof demeanor, an unexpected encounter becomes a turning point in his life that leads him to change.

 

“A Good Day to Be a Dog” is currently slated to begin filming in October.

 

Lee Hyun Woo To Join ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo In New Fantasy Romance Drama

 

Lee Hyun Woo has been confirmed to join ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo’s upcoming drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (working title)!

P.S. Lee Hyun Woo's character supposedly is some sort of "shin" (God) who was seeking revenge on both leads. He's the reason why the female lead is cursed. However when others give both leads a hard time, he would stand up for them. His mentality is that only he can bully the leads.

@Tofu I opened this drama thread instead, and have no freaking idea if it'll be good. For what it's worth, the premise sounds so ridiculous since Park Gyu Young will turn into a dog. Are they going to use CG or use a real dog...? It's rather concerning, LOL!

 

I wasn't going to open this thread at all until I was reminded Eun Woo and Gyu Young appeared in an MV together before and a fan put the MV photos side by side with the webtoon/manhwa and I yielded. xD

So once she kisses someone she continues to turn into a dog at night until she kisses the same person to stop the loop? Does she need to kiss the person when she's in dog form or human form? 

 

What an interesting premise....talk about original. LOL!
