Synopsis
Based on a hit webtoon of the same name by Kang Tae Kyung that tells the turbulent story of a man named Shin Sung Han. He is a classical pianist and was once a music professor in Germany but returns to Korea after hearing a shocking news, and decides to become a lawyer that deals with divorce cases. He made the choice to specialize in divorce, due to reasons from his childhood. Sung Han faces his clients, with various unfortunate stories, and stands up for them. While doing this, he approaches the truth that he has been seeking.

The drama adaptation will be directed by Lee Jae Hoon (Run On, The Ghost Detective) while the script will be written by Yoo Young Ah (Thirty-Nine).

'Sacred Divorce' adapted from it's original Kakao Webtoon about a life of a talented divorce lawyer Shin Sung Han who wins his client's cases.

 

 

 

Shin Sung Han, a character acted by Cho Seung Woo was a professor of music at a German university until he becomes a lawyer after encountering shocking news in order to seek the truth.

 

Shin Sung Han starts the second chapter in his life from being a classical music artist as a talented divorce lawyer who is madly in love with trot (Korean folk music) and deals with clients with personal stories.

it's smooth sailing for smart "oppa" Cho Seung Woo (Shin Sung Han) in a life-changing decision may he succeeds in winning client's heart despite past events unfolding differently. unlike it's title, this drama maybe isn't about a happy event, but I'm still looking forward to it.

JTBC's new Saturday and Sunday drama 'Sacred Divorce' (scriptwritten Yoo Young Ah/director Lee Jae Hoon/production SLL, Highground, Gulmo), which will be broadcast for the first time on March 4,  revealed scene of the script reading of site, director Lee Jae Hoon with writer Yoo Young Ah, as well as Cho Seung Woo (Shin Sung Han), Han Hye Jin (Lee Seo Jin), Kim Sung Kyun (Jang Hyung Geun), Jung Moon Sung (Jo Jung Sik) and Kang Mal Geum (Kim So Yeon) were gathered together.

JTBC's newest drama series 'Sacred Divorce' has confirmed its cast lineup. Actress Kang Mal Geum plays Kim So Yeon, the youngest daughter of her grandmother's ramen shop which is a regular place for three friends, Shin Sung (Cho Seung Woo), Jang Hyung Geun (Kim Sung Kyun) and Jo Jung Sik (Jung Moon Sung). Kim So Yeon is in charge of the ramen shop for the time being in replace of her mother who injured her back.

 

Veteran actress Cha Hwa Yun will play the role of Ma Geum Hee, the hostess of Daenam Electronics, the No. 1 electronic company in the domestic electronics industry.

 

 

 

 

Park Yoo Seok, is played by actor Jeon Bae Soo. He always keeps a close eye on Shin Sung Han who runs a private office or a partner lawyer in Geumhwa Law Firm.

 

Lastly, actor Han Jae Seok plays the role of Choi Joon, an intern lawyer at Geumhwa Law Firm. Choi Joon is a high-class man who graduated from law school with excellent grades and started his career at the Geumhwa Law Firm.
