Jeon Jong Seo And Moon Sang Min In Talks To Lead Upcoming Webtoon-Based Drama By “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” Writer

Jeon Jong Seo and Moon Sang Min may be teaming up for a new drama!

On December 7, it was reported that Jeon Jong Seo and Moon Sang Min would be starring in the new drama “Wedding Impossible” (literal title) written by Park Seul Gi of “Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist.”

In response to the reports, Jeon Jong Seo’s agency ANDMARQ commented, “Jeon Jong Seo has received an offer for ‘Wedding Impossible’ and is currently positively reviewing [the offer].”

Similarly, a representative of Moon Sang Min’s agency Awesome ENT shared, “‘Wedding Impossible’ is one of the projects we’re reviewing. We’ve had a meeting with the director and are awaiting the results.”

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Wedding Impossible” is a romance drama that tells a story of clashing desires and an opposed marriage. When chaebol heir Goo Chan Yeol proposes a fake marriage to unknown actress Oh Da Jung, she takes the opportunity despite Goo Chan Yeol being gay. However, they run into problems when Goo Chan Yeol’s ambitious younger brother Goo Jung Yeol steps forward to put an end to the relationship, unable to watch their fake marriage materialize.

Jeon Jong Seo has reportedly received an offer to star as Oh Da Jung, an unknown actress who agrees to a fake marriage with Goo Chan Yeol. However, everything turns upside down when she meets and clashes with his younger brother Goo Jung Yeol, who is over-protective of Goo Chan Yeol.

Moon Sang Min is in discussion to play Goo Jung Yeol, a fourth-generation chaebol who has walked the path of sincerity his entire life. By hiding his identity and being hired as an ordinary employee off merit alone, Goo Jung Yeol has successfully become a “clean” fourth-generation chaebol for earning the sincere trust of his colleagues without cutting corners. Despite this, he still hides a side of himself that is completely different from this facade he regularly puts on.

“Wedding Impossible” is currently in the finale stages of casting and will start filming once the cast is finalized.

Later this week, Jeon Jong Seo is set to appear in the upcoming second part of “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area,” while Moon Sang Min has been earning praise for his role in tvN’s recently-concluded drama “The Queen’s Umbrella.”

New stills

tvN’s upcoming drama “Wedding Impossible” has shared a new glimpse of Moon Sang Min in his leading role!

“Wedding Impossible” is a new romantic comedy starring Jeon Jong Seo as Na Ah Jung, an unknown actress who agrees to fake a marriage with her male friend Lee Do Han (Kim Do Wan). Moon Sang Min will star as Lee Do Han’s younger brother Lee Ji Han, who is desperately opposed to his brother’s marriage and is determined to prevent it from happening at all costs.

In the drama, Lee Ji Han is a resourceful third-generation chaebol heir who is the youngest of the LJ Group chairman’s grandsons. Although he was born with a brilliant mind and enviable assets, Lee Ji Han’s life is far too busy for him to fully enjoy his many advantages. Having hidden his identity and joined his family’s company as an ordinary employee, he has been gradually building up his reputation with solid results at work. Lee Ji Han also earns praise from his co-workers for being a “warm, uncalculating person.”

However, that description of him couldn’t be farther from the truth. Underneath his kind image, Lee Ji Han is actually hiding the burning ambition to make his older brother Lee Do Han the successor who inherits LJ Group. When Lee Do Han’s sudden announcement of marriage threatens to put all of his plans at risk, Lee Ji Han makes up his mind to stop the marriage from happening by any means necessary.

In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Lee Ji Han is busy building up his image as the perfect model employee. In one photo, he looks proudly while holding up an award for being an outstanding employee; in another, he charms his co-workers by unexpectedly showing off his hidden dancing skills at a company workshop.

On the other hand, when Lee Ji Han is with his family, he looks every bit like a polished chaebol heir in his expensive suit and sleek hairstyle.

To find out why Lee Ji Han is so determined to make his older brother—and not himself—the successor who inherits their family’s conglomerate, tune in to the premiere of “Wedding Impossible” on February 26 at 8:50 p.m. KST!

You probably wouldn't decline watching this since Moon Sang Min is in here, but in case you do, I'd like to notify you it has contract marriage in this. Hahaha!

Hahahah of course I will watch this. I like MSM so much in Queen's Umbrella ...let's see if he continues to charm me here. Yes, contract marriage is always a plus point...though here he's trying to break her contract marriage to his bro
