Plot Summary

Nobody loves Hae Jo (Woo Do-Hwan), because nobody, including Hae Jo, knows who is his real father. This make people think he is like an impure substance among them. One day, he hears news that will change his life. He decides to go look for his real father. He happens to have Jo Jae-Mi (Lee Yoo-Mi) accompany him on his journey.

 

Jo Jae-Mi always wanted to have a family. She is going to marry Eo Heung (Oh Jung-Se), who is the successor in the Eo Family. The Eo family, including their mother Beom Ho-Ja (Kim Hae-Sook), run a food company. They don't like Jo Jae-Mi as Eo Heung's wife, but accept her because Eo Heung told them that she is pregnant. On the day of their wedding and before the wedding ceremony starts, Jo Jae-Mi disappears with Hae Jo (source: AsianWiki).

I loved this series so much, but didn't have anyone to talk to about it, so I recorded a podcast with alllllll my thoughts on this series and why it was so beautiful. It's a bit long, but if anyone comes searching for a drama podcast....

@JenL I finished watching this a few weeks ago, it is quite good even I don't like the ending. I watch it because of a clip on IG. The story and acting r great, just the ending makes me annoyed. Lols

 

Btw, just heard ur podcast a bit, u have a clear and good voice. Also the talk r quite interesting. Good job there!

 

P.S. at least u can talk with yourself in this thread, now I'm currently watching Brewing Love, the story is just so comforting! I have no one or place to talk, lols.

Awww, glad you watched this drama too @Alice Wonderland. Yeah, I think sad endings do things to people. I don't mind a sad ending since I think this one was done well. But it just hurt my heart since the main character ad been through a lot and it would have been nice to have had him live happily now that the hard parts of his life were sorted out

Hahaha oh no, was there no Brewing Love thread??? I actually also watched Brewing Love. But I didn't look to see if there was a thread because I'm (still) behind on the series. Only up to episode 5. I really liked how the guy was an empath who was so nice to everyone though. It was heartwaming
