[News] Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, And Lee Si Young Star In Eerie Character Posters For “Sweet Home”

4f9e8ec86de64a7cb9b87048a511a7b1.jpeg?s=

Netflix’s upcoming original series “Sweet Home” has unveiled chilling posters of the main cast!

Based on the hit thriller webtoon of the same name, “Sweet Home” tells the story of Cha Hyun Soo (Song Kang), a high school loner who moves to a new apartment building after losing his family in a tragic accident. There, he ends up facing a series of shocking and terrifying events as humans suddenly begin transforming into monsters all around him.

The newly released posters reveal the uneasy tension felt by the residents of the Green Home apartment building, who must deal with the unprecedented emergency of people who are encroached upon by their own greed and transform into monsters. Having chosen to isolate themselves inside the Green Home, the residents soon come to realize that the building is not as safe as it seems.

Featured in the posters are Cha Hyun Soo, Pyun Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook), and Seo Yi Kyung (Lee Si Young), whose peculiar and intense gazes are amplified by the haunting caption, “Die, or become a monster and survive.”

Song Kang, who previously captured the hearts of viewers with his role as the handsome model Sun Oh in the series “Love Alarm,” commented, “I worked hard to show everyone a character that’s completely different from Sun Oh.”

Director Lee Eung Bok, who is known for his work on hit dramas like “Mr. Sunshine,” “Descendants of the Sun,” and “Goblin,” also praised Song Kang’s acting, saying, “His excellent acting is full of depth that can be felt through his expressions and his gaze.”

Lee Jin Wook, who will play the mysterious former detective Pyun Sang Wook, is gaining attention for his unrivaled aura. On Lee Jin Wook’s character, the director commented, “In contrast to his dandy appearance, I wanted to create a beast-like character with sad and empty eyes.”

Lee Si Young will play Seo Yi Kyung, a former firefighter who used to serve in the special forces. Director Lee Eung Bok said that he thought she would be the best actress for the role, pointing to her previous experience in the action genre as proof that she would excel in the “female warrior” role. Anticipation is mounting over what kind of energy she will bring to the new character.

“Sweet Home” will be released on December 18.

News - Song Kang And Lee Do Hyun’s Upcoming Drama “Sweet Home” Unveils Striking Main Posters

Sweet-Home.jpeg

Netflix’s upcoming original series “Sweet Home” has released its main posters!

Based on the hit thriller webtoon of the same name, “Sweet Home” will tell the story of Cha Hyun Soo (played by Song Kang), a high school loner who moves to a new apartment building after losing his family in a tragic accident. There, he ends up facing a series of shocking and terrifying events as humans suddenly begin transforming into monsters all around him.

On December 3, the upcoming drama unveiled two main posters that tease the suspenseful, action-packed battle that lies ahead for the residents of Cha Hyun Soo’s apartment building. In a desperate attempt to survive, the residents join forces to hide inside their building and cut themselves off entirely from the dangerous outside world—but in doing so, they must accept the frightening possibility that one of them could turn into a monster at any moment.

The neighbors who will be teaming up with Cha Hyun Soo include the mysterious former detective Pyun Sang Wook (played by Lee Jin Wook), former firefighter Seo Yi Kyung (played by Lee Si Young), and Lee Eun Hyuk, a brilliant student with strong leadership skills (played by Lee Do Hyun). They will also be joined by Lee Eun Hyuk’s younger sister Lee Eun Yoo (played by Go Min Si), Korean teacher Jung Jae Heon (played by Kim Nam Hee), aspiring musician Yoon Ji Soo (played by Park Gyu Young), and professional caregiver Park Yoo Ri (played by Go Yoon Jung).

The caption on both posters ominously reads, “Die, or survive as a monster.”
