The drama will be penned by Kim Eun Hee, the writer of many famous dramas including “Signal,” “Ghost,” and “Kingdom”—in which both Joo Ji Hoon and Jun Ji Hyun appeared—and helmed by Lee Eung Bok, the director behind the hit dramas “Goblin,” “Descendants of the Sun,” “Mr. Sunshine,” and more.

 

On September 24, the highly-anticipated drama released a chilling teaser poster featuring a mysterious hooded figure surrounded by fog. The figure stands alone in the shadows late at night, wearing a poncho emblazoned with the logo of the National Park Rangers.

 

Notably, the “R” in the logo is blocked by the poster’s caption, ominously transforming the word “RANGER” into “ANGER.”

 

Meanwhile, the caption eerily describes the mountain as “the place where the land meets the sky, the border between this world and the next.”

Sorry for quoting photos, but needed to do so in order to explain my initial double take that had me wondering why the rangers were wearing outfits with iQIYI logo... pfft! Can't wait for it to air, especially as the latest character teaser is hinting at ominous, possibly otherworldly elements at play. Is it Oct 23rd already?

@liddi I used to remove the quoted pictures because of loading issues but now we have been able to compress our quotes, so I am not so particular about it. 

Anyway, the show is a lot darker & more mysterious than I had expected. I am definitely looking forward to this one given that it is from Signal's writer.

@abs-oluteM the drawcard for me has always been Kim Eun Hee, though this drama has been so secretive in its premise that until a week or so ago, I still had no real idea what I was signing up for! Truly excited and praying that it delivers.

When I used to have tvN Asia channel the primetime dramas will air within 24hours (means next day). I think that’s how they advertise. Not sure if they have changed their way of broadcast though!

In the stills and trailers for this drama, it already looks and feels different to the US movie "Cliffhanger" which this drama is supposed to be based on. I find that very encouraging actually since I thought the film was a bit on the weak side. Looking forward to this drama!
