One night sitting in front of the PC and I saw a shadow on the wall where some "spidy legs" were moving and I looked up to be greeted with this right on top of where I was seated!

well i wasnt scare of spider or insect in particular hahahaha.....so when i see ppl shriek at something so small after u.....i will laugh hahaha

 

my friend is scare of insects haahaha....so i was the one who always clean up those insect after her....

I am ok with other insects. For spiders, it depends what kind and where/how they appear. If there's someone else in the house then of course I'd ask that someone to help hahaha. 

 

I don't like house lizards too only because they like to get trapped and died in places they shouldn't be. Yuck.

Looks like the bud of red ginger plant. There was a cluster that grew in the parent' yard years ago.

Yeah, the flowers look nice when all the petals are unfurled. Usually the petal colours are red, like the one in your pic, but I've also seen dark fuchsia.
