How’s everyone doing? I’m loving how there’re episodes dropped every day! And loving the pace of this too even though I personally really don’t like military dramas or movies. What I am enjoying though is how the team dynamics are developing and YPY and his teammates are growing as individuals. I particularly enjoyed the recent episodes that gave the back story of the key members of Squad 9 (poor extras have no back stories to tell!) and thought the young version of YPY did a very good job in reproducing the way YY portrays his character - the gaze, the ticks, the swagger… you can see the similarities! 
 

Now that we’re well past the mid-point and they’ve gotten rid of most of their demons, and Daddy Kun is dead, I fear we’re moving towards show down between the mercenaries and Squad 9 soon. There will be death and I wonder who it will be. Something tells me XYJ will be sacrificed. Y’think?

@gilaswan omo omo so happy you still watch this sissieeeeeeee 😍 I'm enjoying as well, but still on E23. Currently hard to find the right time to watch (focus for 1 hour+) I'm already exhausted by my treatments these days.

 

I fall for their development as military trainees. And it's kind of fun to know the 'basics' more: there are some basic wise points as well. At first I can't really get into those kind of ambitions but all and all we do really need this kind of people to guard (+ I like they took drug dealers as the combat focus). Smh I grow more respect to the occupation itself.

 

The biggest character development goes to:

XYJ eats ant eggs like choco chips now!!!

There is a lot of discussion wander about the grave in ending credits didn't yet paid attention to it but some says XYJ..

No.... don't say that!  

 

I had to take a break from this show for the last two weeks because of work, but I'm excited I'll have a bank of episodes once I can get back into it -- or I don't know.  Sometimes I also think only 1-2 eps a day is good because it's a lot of adrenalin for the heart otherwise, haha!  Glad to know you guys are still enjoying the eps, though.  Gives me something to look forward to!

it's available on WeTV, and the episodes drop system is just like YAMG when it was airing! Ahahaha

still on E24 haven't yet catched up till recent episodes but oh the lone wolf Guo Xiao Xiao's story.. To see in front of your eyes the dearest friend bleeding to death.. With her backstory as a child.. Ahhh 😥😥

btw these production has some trivia like:

- Yang Yang due to malfunctioned axe gained scar on his face for a while

- Jiang Luxia (Guo Xiao XIao) lose one of her teeth due to bumped on equipment

- actor who played Bai Long really buried alive for minutes in shooting a scene

 

kind of amazed me this thin line of totality x crazy in how the production wants deliver it's reality scale to the viewers. I think they really want to make this drama goal as the IT military nation's drama(??)

 

I'm just relieved they are safe and sound after finishing GoSF shoots

The writer is so cruel, for killing off Xiao Tian. Made me cried lots for this incident.

 

I'm not familiar with China's rules/policies but isn't it more logical when finding a bomb to call the bomb squad immediately? Even if they could not be there on the scene, they could help over a video call. Yan Po Yue is still learning so technically, he's not bomb specialist or is experienced in defusing a bomb.

 

I get that through this it's to make Yan Po Yue even stronger but it didn't seem quite right that the show always made it like he always had to be the chosen one.
