Also, I was thinking that KYJ and AHS are finally pairing up as leads. AHS was the original lead for Cleaning With Passion For Now before he dropped out, I think because he wanted to take a different role instead.  So, Yoon Kyun Sang stepped into the ML role instead. However, I remember there were a number of fans who wanted to see the KYJ-AHS pairing.

 

Though, I prefer YKS to AHS mostly because I thought AHS needed more experience before he could take on a lead role.

Netflix’s upcoming film “Seoul Vibe” has confirmed its star-studded lineup!

 

 

Set against the backdrop of the 1988 Seoul Olympics, “Seoul Vibe” is a new film about an unimaginably grandiose plot for a slush fund robbery—and the thrilling car chase that ensues on the streets of Seoul. Described as an “action blockbuster,” the movie will revolve around the “Samgyedong Supreme Team,” a crew of talented drivers that gets involved in investigating the slush fund.

On June 25, the producers of the upcoming film confirmed that Yoo Ah In will be starring as Dong Wook, the leader of the Samgyedong crew. Go Kyung Pyo will star as the sentimental Woo Sam, who serves as the unofficial DJ of the crew, while Lee Kyu Hyung will play Bok Nam, who knows the streets of Seoul like the back of his hand.

Park Ju Hyun will star as Dong Wook’s younger sister Yoon Hee, the head of Seoul’s biggest bike club and the only female member of the Samgyedong crew. Ong Seong Wu will round out the team as Dong Wook, the sentimental “MacGyver” of the crew who is like a younger brother to Dong Wook.

Go Ah Sung In Talks Along With Im Siwan For New Drama

Go Ah Sung and Im Siwan may be starring in a drama together!

On June 30, one industrial representative reported that Go Ah Sung has been cast for a leading role in “Tracer” (working title).

In response to the report, the actress’s agency KeyEast commented, “Go Ah Sung received a casting offer for ‘Tracer’ and is reviewing it.”

 

“Tracer” is a revenge drama focused on the setting of the National Tax Service. Im Siwan is in talks to play Hwang Dong Joo, a new team manager of the Seoul Regional Office’s Investigation Bureau. Son Hyun Joo has received an offer to play In Tae Joon, commissioner of the Seoul Regional Office. The drama will be written by Kim Hyun Jung and directed by Lee Seung Young.

 

Go Ah Sung has impressed viewers with her acting in a wide spectrum of genres. Some of her known works are “The King,” “Radiant Office,” and “Life on Mars.” She also worked with Im Siwan in the movie “A Melody to Remember.”

IKR, but well like you said, at least even being second lead most of the time, at least his screen time and the story arc of him are quite a lot. But it would be better if he is the main lead. So his screen time gets more. I really love him as HJH!!

Yeah, he's been in second lead territory for a long time but maybe he'll have his own story in this drama. If he doesn't, I guess I will join @SilverMoonTea on her SLS train? LOL! K-Drama needs to adopt C-Drama's way of adding sooooooo many side couples so everyone ends up with someone. Then we can see our oppas have happy endings.

I guess it has something to do with corona restrictions getting more limitations (recent news say the limit of meeting of 7 persons reduced to 4 ) .

 

Season 2 was just in luck to cover almost all regions in Korea for the filming locations. They did not just focused in Yongin which is closer to Seoul. They went as far as down south to capture authentic Joseon backdrops. 

 

Anyways, I am excited. More JJH-JJH
