That bet of going to the sea, he seems pessimistic hence he vote that they won't make it. 

 

I guess he's the only one able to described her perfectly, that she's sad but not angry. This put him on the same level to her father and he seems rather proud of it for a moment. 

 

That touching face, she had a reason for it. So that she know the moment is real, before tomorrow all will dissapear. But then he touched her hair, pull her closer almost to kiss her, but she doesn't want and he relented. That golden ring on her kept being highlighted, I guess so that viewers don't forget that she still married 😅 Actually it's good that she kind of stopped him, so she's not ruining herself and him. 

 

As he stepped out from the tent, he kept looking at his shirt & chest, I guess this similar to what BJ's experienced that she shared to her father. "Have you ever felt your heart beat so fast that it felt your shirt moving?". While they're seeing sunrise together, he also confide to her about the driftless feeling he experienced from his job. 

 

In the way back, while walking he's sulking a bit since she always outsmart him lols. And she smile. I think it's the most sincere smile ever come from her. 

 

The last scene Seoul or sea, he looks so floored when she choose the later. And she cried on the bus, I guess the lost article this time is Kang Jae himself for her?

yes it keeps being highlighted, the way it screams: "forbidden, forbidden!" Hahaha 😢 I like how her grasp actually her restrain in the scene. Plus the talk about how Kangjae feels every time he did his job, it is like the pumpkin carriage. Uh slicing.. And in the preview he seems will change his job to one that can described simply?

nah for this I think they also highlighted the marks left by that hand grasp from BJ. The shirt wrinkled, twisted there and he acknowledged that

 

But heck the morning after sunrise, shirt is not wrinkled anymore. Tell me how, Kangjae? Did you splash water on it and straighten it or? Lololol. Nevermind.

I also like Just x MJ developments during Ep 11-12. At least in ep 12 MJ said her feels & didn't beat around the bush that she also feels conflicted

Actually thinking about it again, I'm not sure the restraint is a good idea or not? If it's just physical affair actually might not be that serious, but we all know this is something more serious than that? Since they didn't kiss, don't it make the longing become deeper instead 😅

 

He's so sad and dissapointed, when she decided to go home. The whole drama, he seldom showed his feelings, but that night with BJ is different. He also tried to tone down all this and make her become his friend 🤔 MJ is friend, but BJ?

I briefly check Naver, the rating went up a bit to 1.8%. Most comments by Korean also seems positive, mentioning this drama is a good work and detailed, almost like watching movie / reading a novel book. Many praising RJY's for his delicate acting, and JDY make RJY even shinier on the screen. Lot of viewers also can empath with the struggle of anxiety not becoming anything in 20's or 40's. Seems not much complaint about infidelity, and most viewers supporting Tangerine/Pumpkin Couple.

I actually finish watching eps 12 very late last night...no energy to post here. But it was a great episode for the lead's development. That tent scene was pretty hot. I don't think I can define what they have as an affair just yet but it is clear that there's attraction between them. When KJ asked if she would go with him to the sea, he was offering her the option to take what they have now a step further. I wish she had said yes...only because she should just choose to do something for her own happiness.

 

I am feeling worried for Just..don't you all think  Min Jung seems to be playing with his heart? She knows Just likes her and she gives him hope here & there but then she seems to also still have a thing for Kang Jae and ironically she knows it too.

Most of the time I watched drama, I kind of vaguely can guess the ending. Probably this drama biggest allure for me is that I can't really pinpoint what the ending will be.

 

I'm rooting for KJ to change job, but his job is his identity and his whole existency. And he's somewhat good at all his role playing too. 

 

BJ might be able to have better life, as AR seems start to crumble. Ideally she and her husband should reconcile, as actually JS is not too bad as husband either. 

 

BJ and KJ to be together also will be kind of defy all the society norms. And if they're getting closer, will their relationship become closer or instead it will separate them? As KJ's did share his observation, the closer you were with someone, the more violence you will be to the other party. 

 

We're at the mercy of the director & the writer, hope they can give us satisfactory ending.

I might actually watch this! Not sure if it's the subtle brainwashing from @SilverMoonTea and @bairama on Twitter or because I actually like that arthouse-y, cinematic feel when it's not a pretenious arthouse story...I just checked out the description and it sounds good too. Maybe also I'm feeling moody due to life problems, so need something that doesn't look too overly happy to watch  The problem is I have such limited time lately...haven't even started D.P or Squid Game (But waiting on my sister for this one)   But I'll try my hardest to try an episode or so this week!

btw still my concern ngl, we just have 2 weeks left!

this is very on point for voicing out my nervous: "some part are rather poetic than realistic, which is also a bit problematic, it could be better balanced". Especially how BJ marriage is handled here, or is it realistic to you? Give me enlightenment pls? Like how the husband is so slow & passive.. But to think about, the latest episode give us just around 24 hours time zone of them tho 😂 it really the approach here that makes me nervous.

 

Still I feel this drama is kind of a rare blessing. Like it so much but you know, after all the excitement comes this cold sweat hahaha I really want to add Lost to my all time fave list along & it is all depends on the ending now to me.

Episode 11

• How Kyung Eun forces herself to smile at JS. She is such a strong, nice woman  I can understand why JS fell for her. She would be #1 in my books too. His looks were telling me that he wants to be strong for her, I feel like he really cares for her.

• KJ is SO interested in BJ, but he plays this "mysterious guy"-card so well. He doesn't give her anything. He knows so much about her, but doesn't let her know anything. He has such an advantage and she is so in the dark. She sees herself as just another numbered client, but for him, she is so, so much more already. She never was a client to begin with. 
• When she wrote him, he didn't even ask about a price, money or anything, he just came. Without asking questions, he said so often how money is the most important thing, money defies you, but here, he doesn't seem to care about money at all.
• Woo Nams satisfied grin after telling Soon-Kyu whats wrong with her was so precious. I loved it.  That's ma boy. 
• I can see in JS eyes how he realizes the same mistakes he is doing again and questions himself if he is already cheating and having an affair again. But he cannot stop himself, he likes Kyung Eun, more than his wife. Him looking at his texts to BJ was kind of a call to get a reaction. But since BJ didn't reply, he felt like she doesn't care and continued. He is aware what he does is wrong, but he cannot stop himself. 
• Probably the first time we saw BJ genuinely smile while walking up the mountain.
• But it seems she kinda "broke" KJ, he begins to talk about himself. He definitely is interested in her, if you make a guy talk, you are on the right path.
• Just gets friendzoned so hard by MJ, that it is painful to watch. Gosh, it's like he owns the friendzone. 
  I felt so sad about him realizing she doesn't feel anything being alone with him.
• After that scene I wanted to give him another cans of alcohol, he definitely needs them. 
• KJ is so smart. The bet is a bet he wants to lose. So if he loses, he automatically wins.

But he is okay with that and I can understand it. I was in his feet for almost two years. He knows what's ahead of him, but refuses to see it and still walks down the path, because if he would stop, there is nothing to chase anymore. She sents him enough signals for him to go on. 

At KJ place he realized that she doesn't see anything more than a friend in him, but suddenly opened just a tiny opening. As viewer, we know she wasn't genuine, she just realized he likes her for real and didn't want to hurt his feelings. 

But he is a guy, he can't think straight, he only sees an opening and the possibility to potentially get her as a girlfriend. 

 

MJ plays him hard, and either she finally starts to see who truly loves her or she has to shut it down. Just is only suffering. I know this, because I was.

This. Exactly. I felt like we needed this episode two or three weeks ago, because I feel like we need qute some time to move on from this point. 

I actually don't think they will be a couple by the end of the drama. Or maybe just the last 10 minutes after a time skip.

Episode 12

 

• BJ really polished her ring.  It was so omnipresent. It shined more than my future. 
• Still I love that KJ pushed her closer to him. It was beautiful. Good scene.
• Maybe MJ begins to see Just's value and does begin to like him. I can't read her. But since I am guy, it's only natural that I can't. 
• But I like the Bromance that Woo Nam and Just had during the night. They helped each other out. 
• Naeun is SO pretty. Gosh I miss Apink. I should totally rewatch all Apink MVs after the show again.
• BJ is smiling on the way down  KJ healed her heart. She actually looked very happy at the bus station aswell. 

 

@SilverMoonTeaI agree that these two episodes did a lot for the drama and are actually quite good. I liked them.

 

Now the real question is what lies ahead of us. Will the drama pick up the pace from the past two episodes and develope them further or are we stuck at the old speed again? It also seemed like some of the character found their hearts at the right time. MJ, Woo Nam & JS mom all turned around and had a change of heart. 

So the upcoming (two) episodes will even be way more mandatory than the past ones. This weekend sets the stage for the final. Really looking forward what the writers have in mind for us.

Ep 13

 

Her answer so witty, when he asked her how she want her name to be saved as in his handphone. She replied if there is no other Bu Jeong in his life he can save it as her name. Actually this means that she kind of accept his request to become friend? And he replied, "See you in Seoul!". 

 

But the preview of ep 14, KJ said he missed BJ and hug her in the middle of the street. I guess he gained confidence, seems someone seeing BJ husband go into motel with KE, hence he finally did this! Screaming 🔥🔥🔥 KJ seems want to kiss BJ, not sure this time he will suceed or not

Dear me...even watching eps 13 at 1.5 speed , it was so darn slow. I have no issues with arthouse type direction but at this point in the drama, ,more needs to happen for the leads. If you want a good drama that takes this approach, they should just look at Secret Love Affair. 

It was really kill joy because I thought from last week's preview that we would see them meet in Seoul. Looks like it is only tonight. Come on drama, let's go!

60minute mark - OTP has not met but there was a kiss & they went to a motel after that ...so they pretty much become full on affair not emotional one. Funnily first time they are sleeping with each other though they did date for a long time before this. 

He should just talk it out with BJ and they don't have to continue living in their miserable marriage.

I actually think this is the most romantic drama I watched in 2021 🔥 I also literally screaming out loud and clapping 🤣 (see how much I'm invested to this problematic pair 😅)

 

It's surprise me that Kang Jae really can't hold off his feeling anymore. I thought he find courage only after finding her hubby's affair, but he actually still haven't found out about it at all. 

 

He's really like teenager waiting his crush to reply lols. And he's supposed to be an ex escort and a professional role player 

 

I'm very satisfied with this episode. Actually I can see a possible happy ending with this direction. Eventhough there will be a lot of set back. And if it's not happy ending, I will cherished all their moment together and write my own happy ending story
