Han So Hee And Park Hyung Sik Enjoy Each Other’s Company In New “Soundtrack #1” Poster

 

A new poster for the upcoming Disney+ drama “Soundtrack #1” has been released!

 

“Soundtrack #1” is described as a “music drama” about a man and a woman who have been best friends for 20 years but learn each other’s true feelings when they have to stay in the same house for two weeks. The drama is directed by Kim Hee Won (“Vincenzo”) and stars Park Hyung Sik as Han Sun Woo, a rising photographer who is a man of few words but has a warm and caring personality, and Han So Hee as Lee Eun Soo, a fun and honest lyricist who isn’t afraid of speaking her mind.

 

The new poster continues to frame Lee Eun Soo and Han Sun Woo’s relationship as one of ambivalence. The two have been friends for many years but romantic feelings have begun to blossom within each of their hearts. The background of the poster is drawn in the style of an illustration from a book. The real images of the two characters themselves are placed in the picture, and both are writing something down in a notebook. Neither character looks at the other, but they both seem comfortable enjoying the other’s presence while working individually. To the left side of the poster, the words read “Are we lovers or friends?” questioning what direction their relationship will go.

 

The production team said, “Our drama illustrates a relationship that is ‘between love and friendship’ of a man and a woman, who have been best friends for 20 years, in both exciting and affectionate ways. Through their extraordinary chemistry, Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik delicately captured the emotions of the two main characters who are ‘between love and friendship.’ Please show a lot of interest and look forward to it.”

Wait, only 4 episodes?! I might watch it then. I like Park Hyung Sik, but not sure about Han So Hee. Maybe because I associate her with Abyss and Neverthless & World of the Married are both the types of dramas that you could not make me watch to save my life. But if only 4 episodes and the stories is somewhat like Happiness maybe I'll try it

Han Sun Woo is a man of few words but has a warm and caring personality. He has feelings for Lee Eun Soo, who has been his best friend for 20 years. However, he treads carefully in fear that he’ll lose her if she finds out that he likes her.

Recently, “Soundtrack #1” shared another glimpse of Park Hyung Sik in character. The photos capture Han Sun Woo’s professional side as a photographer. He handles the cameras in a skillful yet gentle way, and he looks completely focused as he studies the photos he took. Disney+’s upcoming drama “Soundtrack #1” has shared a super-cute sneak peek of Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee’s chemistry!

 

Helmed by director Kim Hee Won of “Vincenzo” and “The Crowned Clown,” “Soundtrack #1” is a new music romance drama about a man and woman who have been friends for 20 years and wind up living together for two weeks.

 

Park Hyung Sik will be starring in the drama as Han Sun Woo, a photographer who is a man of few words but has a warm and caring personality. Han So Hee will be starring as Lee Eun Soo, a fun and honest lyricist who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Although Han Sun Woo has feelings for Lee Eun Soo, he is hesitant to make a move because he doesn’t want to risk destroying their longtime friendship.

 

The newly released photos snapped together by Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee capture their relaxed and playful chemistry as longtime friends Han Sun Woo and Lee Eun Soo—who might just be on the verge of becoming something more.

Episode 1

 

Not bad for a start. The premise is nothing special but whoever loves a story where long time friendship becomes relationship (maybe?) will like this. In this instance, the one-sided unrequitted love is Sun Woo (Park Hyung Sik) towards Eun Soo. They've known each other since they were 9 and have been friends for 19 years. 4 years ago Sun Woo had wanted to confess to Eun Soo but did not after Eun Soo tells the couple they were also friends with that she wouldn't date Sun Woo because if they break up, she'd lose him forever, so she rather be friends with him instead.

 

At present day, Eun Soo is having trouble writing lyrics in regard to unrequitted love whereas Sun Woo wants to postpone his photography exhibition because he's not happy with his photos. Eun Soo asked for one more chance from the PD and promised that 2 weeks later she'll have the lyrics ready. She complains to Sun Woo and realised that Sun Woo seems to know about the feelings of unrequitted love so she asked Sun Woo to stay with her and help her write the lyrics. Completely oblivious Sun Woo is crushing on her. Meanwhile Sun Woo is leaving for the US in 2 weeks and is staying at a friend's. Taking Eun Soo's advice to be true to his heart, he decided to stay with Eun Soo.

 

That night they drank and Eun Soo cuddled up beside him the whole night. Sun Woo was unable to sleep and stare at her all night. This scene was done very well by Park Hyung Sik.

 

This drama could have been a prequel for Happiness to be honest. LOL! I could so see Han Hyo Joo and  Park Hyung Sik reprising their roles and play this. T^T
