Finished ep.8 now. Really enjoying the drama.

 

Pilot episode was packed, laying out the background for our main characters. The main side characters are adorable in their own unique way, and everyone just blend in so harmoniously as this found family. The cases are all interesting too, quickly solved in a believable way too. Good pacing of the story telling. We have to main plot, but each case is building towards solving the main plot as well. I think each case managed to wring out a tear or two from me, but there are also moments of laughters.

 

Why do I have a feeling that Jo Shin Woo will somehow die? Sigh... that's an unfortunate fate of a lot of second lead in sagueks... Please let him live.

Hold on, I did not watch twelve episodes just to see the villain go down like that?! I wanted maximum punishment for him, but what?! He took the cowardly way out and poison himself in front of everyone?!

Just finished the last episode -- why are they making me wait until January to see these two babies get together?! 

 

There were many things I disliked about the drama (the pacing more than anything), but I really loved this family. They were so wholesome and inviting.

They are not together yet. Poong was supposed to confess to Eun Woo at the top of the hill by the tree, but before he could do that, the King's men arrived to bring him back to the palace. The season ended there so it's unsure if he was able to confessed or if he had to immediately leave with the King's men. She, on the other hand, was told by her father that they needed to leave because he was being relocated.

 

I think the growth of their affection is very wholesome and well done. They never spoke openly about their feelings, but it was noticeable that they enjoyed each other's company. There was one scene that I quite enjoyed because it was Eun Woo being honest with her feelings without being honest with her feelings. She was showing the girl they were helping that it's ok to talk openly about her feelings, to say the things she wanted to say to the man she love. The girl was hesitating so Eun Woo helped by sharing her feelings about Poong, who was going to leave the clinic to return to the Palace.

  Why they left us hanging like that? It's a long wait till January 2023 to see them together.... 

 

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the drama a lot, and appreciate that they kept Shin Woo alive and upright till the end.

'Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong' promised a Season 2 with a reversal ending.

 

tvN Monday - Tuesday drama 'Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong' ended its first Season on the 6th.  

 

On this day, Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae) uncovered all the atrocities of left-handed Jo Tae Hak (Yoo Seong Joo) and the death of the previous king, was cleared of the frame and returned to the 'Chief Acupuncture Clinic' who struggled to protect his loved ones in the midst of a severe crisis. The sight of him returning everything to its original place left a touching impression.

 

Here, the appearance of Yoo Se Poong returned to the 'deliberation' of the Gyesoo Clinic, added curiosity to the story to be unfolded. In particular, the official appearance was came before Yoo Se Poong even confessed to Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) raised expectation and curiosity about 'Season 2'.
