In the netflix games, he mentioned he saw GAR chew the same kind of gum( though some other fans teasingly say that he knew because they had a lot of kissing scenes ); the monaka that was delivered to GAR; and GAR's phone and script which he usually founds on the set. which interview was this? I haven't seen this one yet. hahaha.. me too. When I saw the scene where Jun was taking the photo of Rara and Ji hun, I knew right away that he have seen her before, the intensity of his gaze was mesmerizing and full of emotions. He portrayed it very well. Other scenes that I love is their playful banter and scenes where you think Jun or Rara was about to say something sweet or confess but they were just "killing the moment" with their unexpected lines. In episode 15, I'm glad that Jun asked Rara regarding the level of punishments she had with her piano teacher, that hug was . To be honest, I was curious when Rara mentioned it in the first few episodes too. And I thought it will be left unanswered. Even in the swoon games, LJW is flustered especially the one where he have to do a catwalk with chic expression. He was too shy 'coz his GAR-sunbaenim is watching. 😅 This is the only GAR drama that I manage ( I only watched a few) to finish same with LJW. Their chemistry was so undeniable. @Unnie0110 I love those scenes too and the, "i want you piano" scene hahaha. Basically all the scenes where Jun is flustered. 😅🥰 Plus their first meeting at the cafe, love at first sight. And the one he took the photo of Rara and his friend, he totally captured the longing look in his eyes when he stared at Rara. He is such a cutie. I agree, totally smitten. 😂

It's still one of my favourite dramas though. I saw on the comments in youtube (the latest ddsslls swoon vid) most of them did loved the drama (as of my reading last night 😆). Maybe he's got a whole album of their pics. Who knows... I wonder about that too. I was surprised to see they did a lot of takes for that scene. Hahaha. I am curious as to why they did not have a nomination for best couple in the swoonies awards though. Apart from their amazing chemistry (on and off cam), they did have a lot of netflix games than the others. And they have a different telepathy test in netflix korea, and a different one in Thailand. I wonder what happened there. They always caught off guard each other a lot. Like the one in the thai netflix when LJW chose GAR as the cast member he want to watch the drama with. 😆🥰 I was surprised with the BTS as well. 😅 They should have showed it. But I think, they wanted an "innocent kiss" in that scene as Jun was 19 at the time. I think I mentioned something above with the Manbok and Sunja kiss, as GAR was asking (PD) if Sunja wanted the kiss as well. That was a proper one. 🙈😍 The bts was longer too. I did notice that too. I think he got distracted that's why he got his head hit. 😆 He wasn't expecting GAR to kiss him back. Too bad, it was no not aired on the drama instead. I saw one of the bts as well, regarding sun ja and man bok's kiss. When GAR was asking the director if sun ja wants the kiss as well, and LJW answered, of course she does. They are so cuuute. 🥰 That's nice to know. I haven't seen the other celeb versions. LJW did mention that he was explaining all the time in the swoon games. 😆 I love that despite their answers dont' match they still have this chemistry (opposites attract i guess 🤣). Plus they love to tease each other. Can't see the age gap there. 😅 They were also cute in the kbs one, was it the too much info quiz? and the one they were designing polaroid photos where GAR stated that LJW was cute because he was a little drunk when they first met. @stroppyse @JenL I agree regarding LJW, he might not be the most handsome actor (he is good looking though) but his charisma and talent makes up for it. He is very expressive and he gives justice to the characters he is playing. I did watch him in extraordinary you though I haven't finish the series because life happened . But one cannot deny that he will become a big star one day. @twinkler0415 I have that difficulty too, if I like a certain ship/pairing I find it hard to ship them with others...except if their chemistry is better with the other actor/actress. Hahaha. I did thought about that when I saw the vid. It says they are not like that in private, and I was like . I find it ironic that they were precise with this drama, giving flashbacks, explaining Jun as Dodosolsollalasol but left out a back story about him coming back after 5 years in episode 16 (which I think was very crucial). It left other fans confused. I think he was really sick during that Christmas, he might be even in a state of coma. Technically, they are each other's first love. Hahaha. No worries. I love knowing other people's opinions. Some agencies are quite strict, maybe it was just that. I find it amusing that other fans have to dig deeper into that. . It was hurtful to think that Jun have to "play dead" to the person he loves the most, there is something amiss,some sort of gap (which I doubt writer-nim is aware of ) but yeah we love happy endings. Teasing was definetly the specialty of this couple. . I think after all the twist and turns of this drama, they still want to keep it light and warm hearted hence the ending though abrupt still gave us hope. I did watch that episode. They were so cute and funny, chemistry was undeniable on and off screen. Does it imply that he calls her Noona off screen then? I really want to see/hear it. LOL It seems that LJW had tiny crush on GAR based on that netflix games. He just can't stop smiling giddily. But that's just my opinion. Bless our souls dear 😅😂😅. I never thought about it that way 🤣😅. But Jun's one was so mean, pretending to be dead for 5 years. 😅 Yeah, I did thought they will go to that direction as everyone defined it as a rom-com 😅. But it went to melodrama in the last few episodes 😅. Also, others thought that Jun was mischievous during the end as he was smiling/amused of Rara's reaction as if 5 years didn't passed by. Go Ara is very good in here, she nailed the character very much. Her crying was soo good, that I ended up crying too ( which seldom happens 😅). Jaewook is excellent as well and versatile. I can see that he will be doing great in the future. All the supporting cast did a job well done. I read somewhere in IG, that JW is not promoting the drama as much as GA (she posts on her IG most of the time) considering it is his first main role. As there was no posts of him with the rest of the cast etc ( he did post some but mostly of himself or with Mimi) I did notice that at first too but just brushed it off as maybe he is the type that don't post too much. 😅 any thoughts about this? Thanks. It seems it will take me a while in watching another kdrama as I still keep rewatching this one. (Despite my rants 🤣).

hahaha.. the shorts thing, I think that was to let the viewers think that he is younger/teen looking as Jaewook has this Adult (handsome) face (sorry ) because after the reveal he was wearing trousers to make him more mature? (though that might be weather dependent as they filmed from summer to autumn). That was the redeeming point of this drama. That kiss is perfect . I prefer their behind the scenes kiss scenes though Yes, I wondered about Grandpa too as it was implied he passed away in those five years. I do hope they did keep in touch as Jun is very comfortable sharing his secrets with Grandpa. I was really expecting an epilogue of episode 16 as with the rest of the episodes sadly there was none. *sighs*. Any will do, the fans of the drama need some sort of closure. Hahaha.. true.. if not for him they would not have a memorable first meeting (For Jun that is ). I thought about that too regarding the baby as the writer's played with us a bit,s showing us initially that the baby might be Rara's. I genuinely love to see what Jun's reaction is. I want him to suffer a little after no contact at all with Rara. I think they do not want to complicate it further as it is. Realistically speaking, it would have been better if Rara knew about it and him battling cancer with Rara on his side but it would be like any other ordinary cancer drama/movie . It's for dramatic purposes that they left it like that. I've come to think about that the purpose of the writers is to convey these different emotions that they want the audience to feel-- which they did nail for the most part. Yeah, They portrayed Rara as the most faithful gf in existence . I will be truly grateful if that will happen. Despite the happy ending there was something amiss and inadequate about the 16th episode and it needed more depth, but personally the end kiss and their monologue was very heart warming. After all the plot twists, the expectations were too high towards the end that it left us wanting more. On a lighter note, I mean after ruining 2 weddings ;we deserve a wedding in the end even if it was just a picture. I was really looking forward for them to use Ha yeong and Seunggi's wedding business. LOL I had just discovered this site that's why I am a little bit late ranting here. It will take me months to move on from this.

I love this drama so much so I want to share my thoughts... I like this drama as it is not an ordinary kdrama with their plots and twists. It gets the viewers to react with every scene especially with the help of the excellent actors. The progress of the story is good in my opinion, I know there were other side stories but that is what makes this drama unique. Others were complaining about some issues which I will address here: Jun's age, a 5 year age gap is fine. It was I think more that he was a high school senior that irks most people. But they were portraying like an "innocent puppy love story" in a way. The stalker plot, made the drama (for me) exciting in a way. Personally, the twist were Jun got sick was relevant ( though it was introduced too late but the nosebleeds were the hint). It would have been shallow if he will break up with Rara just because his parents asked him too. It needs a deeper reason why he does need to break up with her and the decision must be solely from him. Lastly, the end scene. It was abrupt and the reunion was short which I think most of you will agree left us wanting more. But after watching the series to the nth time, I think (i also wrote this somewhere), that Rara and Jun's story i somewhat parallel to Manbok and Sunja's. They met after a few years again after being separated and there's a person involve with each separation. Sunja's Unnie and in Jun and Rara's case, his Mum did not confirm nor denied Rara's assumption (which for me, needs a little explaining). Five years is a bit too much but fully recovering from cancer, that sounds about right. Though I sometimes wonder how sure Jun is that Rara did not find somebody else. 🤔 And if I was Rara, they need to show me his grave to believe. 😅 Others say, that the ending was unrealistic or they thought that Jun was just a fragment of Rara's imagination. They could have given us a better ending but I don't think it was that unrealistic (maybe the no contact for five years part) but him coming back is definetly not a fantasy as per Jun's heart warming monologue in the end. I just wished to see the eunpo people's reaction to Jun alive. And a grand wedding after all the emotional wreckage they gave us ( and they were saying it was a therapeutic/healing drama, 🙄😅😂 I have never been so stressed but that's what it makes it enjoyable ). Overall, it was one of the best I've seen in all these years I have been watching kdramas. It left me wanting more. Excellent chemistry and excellent cast. Hope they will get awards this year. I will give it a 9/10 (because of not enough episodes and the ending 😅). Their OST is also awesome. Though I have a not-so-tiny wish, a special would have suffice all our curiosities, or a 2nd season to satisfy our Rara-jun moments or a spinoff of Manbok and Sunja. 🤣 And I don't mind Go Ara and Lee Jaewook dating in real life. Their chemistry is daebak. ❤ Sorry for the long post. 😬
