    @pokepo Yes, i definitely agree with you that this ship is different. Agree too that their chemistry is so natural and effortless. I say IS because even to this day, their chemistry overflows and continues to excite shippers as well as attract more and new shippers...

    @Seung-Min I have also heard about this but i cannot confirm not having heard it personally from Jsm herself. But I remember seeing a photo of herself and grandmother many years ago which was posted in a fan’s blog. Jsm likes to keep personal matters private. She does not react/ confirm or deny rumors; her agency does it for her. With exception, during TV guesting. And @Seung-Min, thank you very much for your encouraging message in reaction to my bad english statement. I realize despite differences in language and culture, we all manage to understand one another when the topic is about Seungmin couple. @Poisonous IvyThank you too for lifting up my spirits. By the way, i am curious, if you were not drawn to Joonmin, which ship were you then ( before Seungmin)? Or is Seungmin also your first (Jsm) ship?

    In December of 2017, I was sure about my hunch that Jsm and LJ were into something. Jsm wore rings including in her ring finger in one event of the drama... i felt bad for minki and their shippers but i remained quiet. I was contented being an observant and a lurker...

    Jsm is usually friendly with her fellow actors. That explains maybe why she forms great chemistry with them. She was also friendly with Minki in BTIMFL, that is why another ship was formed. But for me, it was more Minki who appeared smitten with Jsm... shippers were excited about it... it was the time where shippers from other ships got into arguments with one another.. but i remained cool. I never joined in those forum for i was turned off with the rude fans. This is ny very first forum... for I have my reasons...

    @Seung-MinI apologize for not answering your question immediately. There are days when my english is bad. I cannot find the correct word to describe something even if i have my Thesaurus with me. About the hashtag #nottoday, I noticed that Jsm started using it in October 2020. I cannot say if it is connected with the theme of the new drama because it was during that time that she was confirmed to be the lead. If not connected to the new drama, then maybe, Jsm just decided to use this hashtag as a reminder to be positive in her approach to life. The hashtag, from what I know became popular and trending in many instances: one episode of the Game of Thrones, also in the songs of BTS. It could mean, I am not going to be brought down today. You are not going to get one past me. Let us fight negativity together. Do not lose to darkness. I remember saying that I believe Jsm has moved forward with positivity. This is my basis for saying that. I have been reading all the posts here and I am very happy that the thread continues to move actively. I agree with all your comments. Pardon me if I will not anymore cite or mention your names here. I get excited with the forthcoming posts that i do not want to back read anymore just to note your names. Lol. But allow me to share my timeline of Jsm’s love journey from My Father is Strange days based on my reading of her, having followed her for quite a long time... Disclaimer: I do not claim to know her completely because Jsm is very quiet; does not generally reveal very private or personal things about herself. I only base things on my observation of her for a longer time... And i will start sharing from My Father is Strange because it was during this time that I started seeing a different Jsm. During the earlier years, Jsm was also paired and shipped with her partners/leading men, and was even bashed by some fans but not so much compared to the days of My Father is Strange and afterwards. During those times, Jsm was just being herself. In MFIS it was different. She was enthusiastic and unsually happy. Even in the BTS, she was very happy all the time. She was seen with LJ most of the time. It was there that I felt something. She must be in love! I did not mind since LJ looked good and I enjoyed them in the drama. But after reading comments from solid LJ fans, I felt sorry and sad for Jsm. When it was reported that they were dating, my hunch was confirmed. But i just took it as a matter of fact since I am just a follower. When did they start to drift apart? My feeling is, it started when LJ had a personal issue while on military enlistment. It could be that LJ asked for some space from Jsm so he could sort out his problem. If LJ did not initiate, it could be people around Jsm, telling her to leave LJ to sort himself... I think her trip in the US, Canada,etc. afterwards was a way to distract her. She went with her parents. After the trip she became busy preparing for another drama ( the Smile... ). Jsm started feeling strong... then she became a DJ which made her more busy... My take is, she and LJ have fallen out of love before LF but have not formally ended it yet. My reason is, though she may be friendly with Lsg in LF, if she still loves LJ, she would not stay close always with Lsg the way she did. last quarter of 2019, i think joonmin finally talked and broke up. But decided to remain friends. Maybe she offered LJ to take over the DJ thing... Before last quarter of 2019, i think Jsm has fallen for somebody, but trying to stop herself.. i interpreted it in one of her ig posts. Its a delusion on my part but just leave it as is... In 2020, Jsm was ready for.... I agree with most of you that june 2020 announcement was intentional... to protect LJ and also they waited until the Fix you drama has ended... for they did not want to repeat the 2018 reveal when the BTIMFL was still airing. Jsm was bashed by shippers from her other ships. I am sorryyyyyyyyyyy. This is very long post...

    I agree with you @Diva. As a shipper, I really want to know if there is something going on between them. That is why, even hints or clues, even how small or trivial, really matter to me... because they at least give me reason to hope and let my ship continue sailing until it docks in the end... If keeping it a secret or not exposing it publicly will do them good, it is all right with me... but i think little hints and clues would not be that harmful? It would at least excite the shippers’ life?!!! @Kimi23I prefer the last one. The big announcement.

    As her follower for a long time, i believe Jsm is aware of the shipping thing. She reads comments from fans and that started from way back. I remember reading her reply to a group of fans that created a blog just for her and another celebrity (KHJ). She really cares for her fans. Other K celebrities with Youtube channel do not reply to comments. Jsm is different. These days she may not reply to fans but she does not fail to like some comments from them.

    Out of topic: remember Hvh, the fun-spoiler spreading stories about Lsg and the girl whom he plans to marry in May? She (?) is in another forum (“Lsg’s another ship”) also spreading the same stories. Unlike in this thread, she (?) has quite succeeded spreading her (?) version of the story because the shippers kept replying to her posts. She(?) even posted a video there showing Lsg’s secret gf... I feel sorry for the shippers in that forum.

    I like the scene in LF where Lsg and Jsm helped the kids make shapes out of clay dough. Then Lsg kept saying Yoo Jin is so adorable while glancing at Jsm from time to time. I can feel Lsg’s giddiness while saying Yoo jin is so adorable... i could not help but smile while watching them... and i think, he even told one of the kids to give some heart shapes to Auntie Somin... I even reacted, oh???? Why Lsg, why??? It is actually one of my favorite scenes... but, there were plenty of sweet moments and I cannot complain!!!

    @Seung-MinThe reason of LJ’s solid fans for not liking Jsm? No, its not because of her bad relationship with her father. Far from that. Its more like - That Jsm is not suitable for LJ. “Spare LJ.” “He deserved someone better...” well, solid fans can be very protective of their idol ( loyal since idol days). Well that was in the past. Finished. I am relieved that chapter in Jsm’s life has ended and i believe she has moved forward in a positive way.

    @SGxSMI like your idea of shipping them and also supporting them individually. I agree that they have opposite personalities but can learn from each other. Opposites attract. What i wonder really is, some of their clips have a million views in Youtube and so many comments from fans asking for the two to have a drama or project together, but why no development in that respect until now??? Are producers and writers blind? Or simply dont care? OR, is it a decision from both or either of the two not to have a project together in order to protect their privacy or whatever “personal” thing they have for each other? I hope you get what i mean? @Myshipperheart_SGSMI am trying to “re-enact” the scenes you have mentioned in my mind hahaha. I will have to go back again to Little Forest later to rewatch those scenes... I just can’t get enough of the two... Actually, the FMV of @Warm Paws has helped me a lot in coping with my addiction. When I miss the couple, I would watch the video again and again... Thank you @Warm Paws.

    @pokepo I enjoyed watching them in My Father is Strange. When some fans started shipping them, I too kind of liked it but... how unfortunate that i came across some comments from solid LJ fans ( fans from way back during LJ’s idol days) who were vocal in saying they did not like Jsm for Lj. I was so hurt for Jsm. But i understood the solid fans. It was normal for them to have preferences. So i decided to just cool about it. When the dating news broke out, LJ was already serving military enlistment ( am i correct?) so i took the news as a matter of fact.

    I said that the chemistry between Lsg and Jsm is undeniable because i spotted it right from the start. The first scene started it and it grew and grew until now... their chemistry is addictive. I just can’t get over with it... when their variety show ended, i felt very sad. I experienced withdrawal syndrome for a long long time... that is why i continue looking for articles and posts about them... to heal my addiction haha. Crazy me!

I hope more shippers will share also... it is interesting that we may have started differently but have found a common ground in Seungmin couple. Shipping them makes life exciting especially at this time of pandemic... I first saw Jsm in the season 2 of Playful kiss. The youtube version. Short episodes only but were very enjoyable to watch. I then watched the main drama... alhough i did not like the story because Jsm portrayed the role of a pathetic and stupid girl but i still finished it because by then i have already liked her after reading many articles about her and learned how nice, smart and humble she is as a person. I am familiar about Lsg since he has always been visible being a singer, actor and host. But i did not take interest until i saw him in Little Forest. The scene at Jsm’s home, when Jsm made Lsg hold her nephew and she put the cloth on his shoulder first caught my attention. I saw a young family... but it was the car scene when Lsg kept glancing at the mirror that really sealed my interest in them... that car scene was a picture of a happy family... it convinced me that both Lsg and Jsm are natural with kids and would make good parents someday... They possess qualities that complement or suit each other...

Did you start shipping both of them or was it Seung gi first or was it Somin first for you? Me? It was Somin first. I have been a loyal follower/lurker of Somin way back 2010. But i did not ship her with anyone else except with Seung gi. Yes, she was paired with almost all of her leading men, but i just enjoyed reading about them, that is all... its only after seeing them in Little Forest that i started noticing the undeniable chemistry between her and Seung gi... since then, i searched for articles and posts about them until i found this forum and stayed, even just as a lurker...

    @Kimi23@Myshipperheart_SGSM thank you very much for your warm welcome. Much as i want to share my thoughts but i am not very good in English. I have to edit many times before I post and what a waste of time... but don’t worry i will try my best... I will try to follow Somin who exerts effort just to make her fans from around the world happy. You know, her first vlogs in youtube did not have subtitles. But fans kept asking for subtitles because many could not understand Korean language. From then on, Somin would spend time inserting subtitles even short only but enough to be understood by fans... I have really admired her for that...

    Hi, just joined this forum. I have been lurking and enjoyed your exchanges about LSG and JSM. I was contented being a lurker. But something in the thread really triggered me to register and share my own thoughts... I have always supported shipping celebrities happily and positively. I don't mind speculations, fantasies, even over analyzing things between the couple as long as they remain within this thread and shared with fellow shippers. For where else can shippers express their support, interest and sentiments about their ship without without being judged, and branded as weird, strange or what not, but here in this thread? As long as the shippers know their limit then go ahead... in fact, those who post in this thread may not be aware of it, but your posts bring joy to shippers who are not courageous in coming out, or too busy to post their thoughts and are just lurking happily... Also, shippers may see things their way and may interpret interactions differently between the couple, well, that is normal and expected... but its different when series of posts tend to oppose and dampen the happy disposition of the shippers, as well as the positive atmosphere that this thread hopes to maintain/ preserve... in this case, i suggest that the supposed shipper better think again and consider joining another thread that supports her preference. Not in this thread please. Sorry for this long post. But thanks for letting me express my thoughts.
