Group member Bangtan Sonyeondan J-Hope whose full name is Jung Ho Seok was selected as an assistant at the boot camp.

An official from the Army's 36th Infantry Division said on the 31st, "The soldier J-Hope was selected as an assistant at the Baekho Recruit Training Center after going through a small evaluation process." He then explained, "He will receive training for a certain period of time and will be certified as a teaching assistant."

On the 18th of last month, J-Hope entered the 36th Infantry Division Baekho Recruit Training Center in Socho-myeon, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do, and recently completed basic military training.

J-Hope enlisted as an active duty soldier in April. J-Hope became the second member of K-pop sensation Bangtan Sonyeondan to enlist the Korean military after Kim Seok Jin, also stage name Jin who is the oldest member in Bangtan Sonyeondan became the band’s first member to enter the army and he is currently working as an assistant instructor in the 5th Infantry Division of the Army in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

Five other younger Bangtan Sonyeondan members RM, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook  are to join the South Korean military one by one in the coming years. Meanwhile, the world’s biggest boy band is expected to reconvene as a group again a few years later.

Bangtan Sonyeondan is preparing worldwide fans for a big 10th-anniversary celebration and revealed a cute schedule chart for the annual Festa.

On May 31 at midnight KST, the global K-pop group released a schedule chart in the style of a board game revealing hints to this year's Festa, an annual celebration period for the group's debut. 

According to the Monopoly-styled schedule chart, various contents will be revealed daily from today until June 17.

Festa will begin posting more content from June 2 onwards. While the illustrations on specific dates do not give details of what the content could be, the timeline has two big question marks on June 9 and 13.

Bangtan Sonyeondan Jin’s solo song 'Super Tuna' released on the official SNS account of Bangtan Sonyeondan's company last two years,  'Super Tuna' is a song to celebrate Jin’s 30th birthday. The song is known to have been made by Jin who enjoys fishing with a wish for boats with a full load of fish. 'Super Tuna' gained global popularity by topping the iTunes chart in 42 countries.

Jin's 'Super Tuna' reached number one on iTunes in Ukraine on May 29 KST. 'Super Tuna' is a self-composed song by Jin released as an official sound source on all streaming platforms.

As soon as it was released, it topped iTunes charts in  reaching number one in 39 countries,  scored first place. It then took first place in Ukraine and reached number one in a total of 42 countries, proving its strong sound source power.

On the chart, 'Super Tuna' ranked first on the iTunes 'World Wide Chart', third on the 'European Chart', and 10th on the 'US Chart.

Jin's 'Super Tuna Special Performance Video', which was released on Bangtan Sonyeondan YouTube channel 'BangtanTV', exceeded 10 million views on the first day of its release and became the most viewed video in the world, proving Jin's immense global popularity. As of the morning of May 30, the number of views exceeded 85.85 million.and the number of views is increasing rapidly.

Bangtan Sonyeondan Jimin has achieved an impressive presence in the United Kingdom with this entry as charting K-pop soloist.

The main theme song 'Angel Pt.1' of Jimin's Hollywood movie 'Fast X' debuted at number 82 on the UK's 'Official Singles Top 100' chart.

In the UK radio network Capital, Heart chart show program 'The Official Big Top 40', it ranked 28th. Jimin demonstrated his potential to chart in the 5th song on the chart, which is tallied based on iTunes sales, Apple Music streaming and radio broadcasts.

Jimin accomplished the feat of entering the highest number of Korean solo songs this year, with "Like Crazy" and "Set Me Free Pt.2" and collaboration song "Vibe" with BigBang Taeyang's new single ranked 30th and 96th, respectively.

Bangtan Sonyeondan Suga, who also goes by the name Agust D, began the Asian leg of his solo tour "D-Day" in one of The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asian) countries Indonesia, last week.

A total of 30,000 people came to the three sold-out shows in Jakarta's ICE BSD convention center, which began Friday and continued into the weekend, Big Hit Music, the septet's agency said on May, 29.

On each of the three days, Suga took the audience on a walk through his musical trilogy, starting with "Haegeum" from his latest album "D-Day," and onto megahit singles "Daechwita" and "Agust D," each fronting his second and first mix-tapes, respectively.

Suga added color to his shows with some numbers off Bangtan Sonyeondan albums, including an acoustic remix of his disco-punk dance song "Trivia: Seesaw," Bangtan Sonyeondan 2018 album "Love Yourself: Answer," and a piano-accompanied rendition of the band's pandemic song "Life Goes On."

Suga is the first member from the seven-piece to hold a global solo tour. The Bangtan Sonyendan rapper kicked off the series, "D-Day," on April 26 in the US where he held around a dozen shows in five cities.

After his first stop in Asia contries, he continues the tour on June 2-4 in Kanagawa of Japan, June 9-11 in Bangkok of Thailand, June 16-18 in Singapore and June 24-25 back to the city Seoul, South Korea.
