Yeah I find NJH similar to GAR whereby she shines the screen with a genuine smile. It’s partly for the character she plays but it’s also very much like herself when I watched her interviews or variety show appearances. And her interactions with male co-stars doesn’t seem like trying too hard to appeal / fan service. I haven’t watched all her works but when I do select a drama with her in it, so far I’ve enjoyed the character portrayal. Congrats on winning the fan merch! Signed by the stars! Surely it would have been a blast if DDSSLLS had such fate then. 😆 Oh wells, we got ourselves creative in the end with photo edits, buying the key rings and/or decorating our own tote bags. Twinkles did good, good, good too, Bravo! I watched the trailer on Netflix recently but didn’t find interest. Haha. I did notice the quirky vibe right away with the characters exchange about finding her shiny shoes and the beach, small town backdrop. I’m still loving DDSSLLS overall vibe so it’ll take some more time before I go for another rom-com or similar vibe. Although I’m grateful that you shared about the drama because there’s the update on that stalker 😂 As you said, as though he got a continuation storyline by the writer. I think it added more fun to watch his new character for anyone who has seen him in DDSSLLS. Good to know Jae Min actor is in this new drama too! I’ve been listening to DDSSLLS Ost these days too and it’ll be nice if we can celebrate the drama anniversary here when the time comes. I just watched The Witch’s Diner recently after a long pause from kdrama. Hehe. More so to see Song Jihyo in a fun and deep character plus it’s a short run drama so definitely something I can pick up while facing challenging times in real life 💁🏻‍♀️ I certainly miss Rara x Jun still…seeing that it’s coming or has it been a year since DDSSLLS airing. 🤩 Happy to see your update today! I happen to watch all of DDSSLLS Netflix+Swoon interviews and its OST videos last night! 😆 Healing moments revived! Reading past comments below the videos was also fun. Haha. Honestly, I miss his presence on kdrama already but I guess with current real life situations that I need to work out at the moment, kept me off kdrama for some time now. I wish LJW all the best too going forward despite the news of sudden cast change that @Unnie0110 updated on. I'm going to wait patiently for his new drama to air, (maybe/maybe not) watch it live and read everyone's review and thoughts! Now, if only GAR updates us on her next project ...also still patiently waiting for her news. Like @CINNABOM I'm glad I can rely on DDSSLLS contents by fans, Netflix/The Swoon and also @JenL's blog to absorb some good vibes and funny moments I've enjoyed from their beautiful chemistry.

Hahaha now that we've learnt our lesson...we'll be ready next time! Also, it doesn't help that she significantly posted on the last day of May (LJW's birthday month) and she also posted an update in early May after a long long time since March then again a day before his birthday. I'm not feeding just stating facts. Her other DDSSLLS co-star Lee Seo-An and fellow Artist Company actress Lim Ji Yeon also interacted with her but GAR doesn't seem to reply/interact online as usual haha. And then I realised hey, why does her background looks like she's also at some kind of a boxing ring? and the hand pose angle coincidentally is similar too hahaha. Now I'm feeding ya some imagination.

Move to Heaven was such a pleasure and satisfying to watch, having the combo of LJH and LJW. I didn't think of it (loving LJH's since Signal) and never knew I would get to see them acting together right after loving LJW's acting. hehe. It's like a gift! I understand what you mean about them having the same aura. For me, straight up, on my first encounter, they both made me see them for their craft in the roles they play. It's the kind of moment where I would get lost in thoughts, why is this person so goood at this character!! Forgetting I came for the story or another actor in the first place hahaha. I'm still hoping for reunion of LJW and GAR in another drama/film with an awesome ending they deserved. We deserved it too for never giving up on DDSSLLS. Right...I think being new wave of DDSSLLS fans, they may also feel less pain to follow up on the next episode but it's good to have such fans too because they give new perspectives and I'm happy to read about them. I mean, @JenL finding someone who made an edit of the stalker is refreshing too. haha. I'm glad to know we share the same sentiments with LJH too! In some ways, I thank LJW and GAR for connecting you to him. haha. Anyway, Collectors is his latest film from 2020 but between Phantom Detective and that, I like PD more for its cinematography and getting to watch LJH working with child actors throughout the film. I haven't seen bts for Collectors but I did enjoy the bts for Phantom Detective and plus hey, there's GAR and they appeared on tv appearances for interviews and Running Man, met fans in different locations to promote so as a whole, it's a good film package for fans of his and GAR's work. Hurray! Double hurray!

But not the stalker one hahaha...i watched for the fun of it, that how you could stumbled into such edit! 😆 I didn’t watch the whole HP drama either as the storyline isn’t too interesting for me so I watched only the scenes where GAR cameo. 😬 She was refreshing to watch as this was her comeback after her leg injury and I love the bts with her interaction with other actors. 👍🏼 She mentioned in the bts that the recent injury (the one we saw during DDSSLLS table read) was due to a fall during hiking trip with friends. Hope she’s resting well and we will hear good news soon! ✌🏼

RaRa would say so. 😊 I read about you being good with holding tears for drama/film from the MTH discussion board haha. I think for me certain subject in that drama like adoption is something close to me as my mum and her two brothers were all adopted and raised by my late grandma. Another aspect of the drama was certainly HGR himself that made me remember the many life lessons I went through to try understanding, even for a little, of special children and their parents while working in a preschool with ABA therapy for autism. I’m reminded of so many more that I haven’t understand of their views of the world. And HGR has an added depth beyond the syndrome’s definition because he is HGR and a true MVP character included in the drama. You’re right that he is so important being the key in giving SG the healing he badly needed. It’s such an amazing storytelling really, the way they thread these characters together like how even SC played a role in trying to get SG reconnect with his brother. The other impact it had on me was the reason SG’s brother didn’t turn up that day, because of the collapse of that shopping mall. And the memories from documentaries I watched about the real story of that mall came into my mind. The Sampoong Department Store disaster has been mentioned in other kdramas like Black (where GAR acted in) except renamed each time. So I guess that’s how I became a mess during the last bit of the drama hehe. And I knew the drama could be heavy after watching the trailer but however much I could prepare, I didn’t know they were that detailed in their storytelling to bring awareness to trauma cleaners’ work. Again, such a precious and memorable drama for me. I even started to watch short documentaries of such work in Japan. It’s such a tough work these people do. 👏🏼 Good work @JenL haha...thanks again!

I was calculating in my head too about his MTH filming period haha. Thanks for this share! Now that could also explain his body appearance/shower scene in DDSSLLS’s ep 2 haha. Director see it an opportunity perhaps. Sometimes actors/actresses when they cameo right before their main lead role drama, they do tend to carry that cameo character vibe or vice versa anyway, depending which drama you watch first. As a fan, it could be a fun helpful hint. GAR gave that impression too when she appeared on Hospital Playlist before DDSSLLS so when I think about it, I could also sense a little bit of RaRa (doesn’t help that GAR-RaRa are similar in personality too haha) in her HP cameo. Aww...thanks for this @JenL!! Love love their bts and it’s really nice to get a little insight of how GAR or LJW think in their performance just by listening a little bit of detail in their short conversation between takes. Also loving LJW’s awesome chemistry with Lee Je-Hoon! What would it be like I wonder if I could have GAR working with them both again. I’m always thankful for GAR in choosing variation of projects that lead me to appreciating other excellent actors and actresses hence why I’m ok with waiting a bit longer for her next role. 😊 I’m also hoping to watch her cameo, if any, and I still love her cameo with IU in The Producers. It was so good and memorable for me that I don’t mind rewatching it. 😬

Yay! I finally watched Move to Heaven and I think we got that glimpse of potential of LJW being so awesome in an action drama/film with emotions and sentiments as a lead one day. I'm truly happy he got to work with this director AND the cast especially someone like Lee Je-Hoon. To me, LJH is a masterclass actor of his own unique style that I see LJW in the similar vein. Although LJW's character was only a cameo, he was integral as the story progress and I could feel their growing chemistry yet cut short with the storyline. I also can't help but to switch my thoughts to a vision of happy Jun in the midst of watching this sad character LJW is playing in MTH. Overall, I'm really really happy he chose this project for a cameo. Same thought, I didn't think his story arc would carry into a few episodes but it made so much sense when we realised LJH's character could never really move on with his life without carrying LJW's character with him everywhere because he made it his responsibility and then we'd realise that he could never abandon him due to the trauma he felt with his own brother. When I thought it was already heart wrenching understanding LJH and LJW's character relationship by the end of ep 7...I ultimately became a HUGE MESS at the next reveal - LJH and his brother's even deeper relationship that would affect the beautiful and developing relationship with his nephew. That locker scene was my lowest point. I had to have my tissue box next to me from then on. hahaha. I'll check it out soon! I would love it if LJW and GAR could work with this director too! You know the moment I saw him in the uniform...then thinking of Jun...my fear of his character gonna suffer some unfortunate fate minus meeting a girl he likes...I was already telling myself, I will not be this cool and collected soon. Can LJW not appear in school uniform like it's a telling...I don't know if I can take much more blow with his young characters being doom for sadness. Perhaps why I can't wait for him to "graduate" into more mature-looking characters NOT wearing uniforms haha. Unless if he acts as a spy and wear it as a disguise? haha. Haha yes please watch it when you have more time because LJH and GAR are just cool characters in it and overall a fun detective action film. You should check out his latest film Collectors if you haven't, I just recently watched it to anticipate Move To Heaven haha and it was like a smaller scale Indian Jones but more fun characters. I'm beginning to think that LJH picked a lot of projects that aligned with genre I love watching or reading since my childhood days. haha. Even GAR's project choices are as diverse as how I tend to switch between watching and reading stories. Maybe some of you share the same sentiments when it comes to your favourite actor/actresses. hehe. Doesn't help when GAR recent IG posts are at such beautiful places like these scenes! Glad you like it too! They've got so many rewatchable scenes that are impactful even on its own without watching the complete drama. Which is our preference now anyway hahaha. We've cut and trim all the unnecessary parts already!

Yeah didn't cross our minds an agency with a big star and a super rookie could handle it that way so I think it's fair that fans were/are upset about it. Nevertheless, now fans should trust him by waiting patiently for his good work in the next project. It does seem rare for any rookie actor in his position to take a long break after great success but I still think he deserves one after non-stop projects since 2019 (Search:WWW > Extraordinary You > When the Weather is Fine > DDSSLLS). With the new agency too, he can make a fresh and impactful comeback. It doesn't matter if media or public doesn't agree, as a fan, you can feel the impactful comeback. It's similar with GAR, whenever she takes a break...I will have to patiently wait and wait...and wait...haha...seeing other great actresses out there making drama after drama, winning popularity or acting awards here and there but she just takes her time...then when she does announce her new project, I'll be anticipating it without needing to put it in a watch list. Although I'm not a big fan of school drama but I love checking out the schools they use for filming. I've watched some dramas with school scenes eg. university...their university (well, the ones I've seen so far) have such a beautiful landscape that I would just crash into their schools just to hang out there and explore. Most definitely, if I was part of a filming crew, I want to be part of the location scout team. haha. Or set production team so I can build cool sets like the Lala Piano Land. Aww...somewhat like a serendipity! Twinkles must be a special kind of breed to understand the beauty of DDSSLLS through and through haha. Simple and KAWAII...Mimi is so fun to watch each time she appears on scene and even as fan art. hehe. The song and edit is wonderful but yes...the lyrics is so sad... I've shared this song by a Korean Indie band for another kdrama couple I liked back in 2019 and I think it suits RaRa and Jun too: "SF" by We Are The Night (SF means Sci-Fi here, cool right. My inner geek loves it already. Celebrating his birthday with twinkles up there in the beautiful night sky We may not be there together but we're always connected through the sky. There was a Japanese drama that had that ending phrase and I love it! @JenL I let RaRa and Jaemin do the baking for our passionate Jun haha.
