Yeah I find NJH similar to GAR whereby she shines the screen with a genuine smile. It’s partly for the character she plays but it’s also very much like herself when I watched her interviews or variety show appearances. And her interactions with male co-stars doesn’t seem like trying too hard to appeal / fan service. I haven’t watched all her works but when I do select a drama with her in it, so far I’ve enjoyed the character portrayal. Congrats on winning the fan merch! Signed by the stars! Surely it would have been a blast if DDSSLLS had such fate then. 😆 Oh wells, we got ourselves creative in the end with photo edits, buying the key rings and/or decorating our own tote bags. Twinkles did good, good, good too, Bravo! I watched the trailer on Netflix recently but didn’t find interest. Haha. I did notice the quirky vibe right away with the characters exchange about finding her shiny shoes and the beach, small town backdrop. I’m still loving DDSSLLS overall vibe so it’ll take some more time before I go for another rom-com or similar vibe. Although I’m grateful that you shared about the drama because there’s the update on that stalker 😂 As you said, as though he got a continuation storyline by the writer. I think it added more fun to watch his new character for anyone who has seen him in DDSSLLS. Good to know Jae Min actor is in this new drama too! I’ve been listening to DDSSLLS Ost these days too and it’ll be nice if we can celebrate the drama anniversary here when the time comes. I just watched The Witch’s Diner recently after a long pause from kdrama. Hehe. More so to see Song Jihyo in a fun and deep character plus it’s a short run drama so definitely something I can pick up while facing challenging times in real life 💁🏻‍♀️ I certainly miss Rara x Jun still…seeing that it’s coming or has it been a year since DDSSLLS airing. 🤩 Happy to see your update today! I happen to watch all of DDSSLLS Netflix+Swoon interviews and its OST videos last night! 😆 Healing moments revived! Reading past comments below the videos was also fun. Haha. Honestly, I miss his presence on kdrama already but I guess with current real life situations that I need to work out at the moment, kept me off kdrama for some time now. I wish LJW all the best too going forward despite the news of sudden cast change that @Unnie0110 updated on. I'm going to wait patiently for his new drama to air, (maybe/maybe not) watch it live and read everyone's review and thoughts! Now, if only GAR updates us on her next project ...also still patiently waiting for her news. Like @CINNABOM I'm glad I can rely on DDSSLLS contents by fans, Netflix/The Swoon and also @JenL's blog to absorb some good vibes and funny moments I've enjoyed from their beautiful chemistry.

Hahaha now that we've learnt our lesson...we'll be ready next time! Also, it doesn't help that she significantly posted on the last day of May (LJW's birthday month) and she also posted an update in early May after a long long time since March then again a day before his birthday. I'm not feeding just stating facts. Her other DDSSLLS co-star Lee Seo-An and fellow Artist Company actress Lim Ji Yeon also interacted with her but GAR doesn't seem to reply/interact online as usual haha. And then I realised hey, why does her background looks like she's also at some kind of a boxing ring? and the hand pose angle coincidentally is similar too hahaha. Now I'm feeding ya some imagination.

Move to Heaven was such a pleasure and satisfying to watch, having the combo of LJH and LJW. I didn't think of it (loving LJH's since Signal) and never knew I would get to see them acting together right after loving LJW's acting. hehe. It's like a gift! I understand what you mean about them having the same aura. For me, straight up, on my first encounter, they both made me see them for their craft in the roles they play. It's the kind of moment where I would get lost in thoughts, why is this person so goood at this character!! Forgetting I came for the story or another actor in the first place hahaha. I'm still hoping for reunion of LJW and GAR in another drama/film with an awesome ending they deserved. We deserved it too for never giving up on DDSSLLS. Right...I think being new wave of DDSSLLS fans, they may also feel less pain to follow up on the next episode but it's good to have such fans too because they give new perspectives and I'm happy to read about them. I mean, @JenL finding someone who made an edit of the stalker is refreshing too. haha. I'm glad to know we share the same sentiments with LJH too! In some ways, I thank LJW and GAR for connecting you to him. haha. Anyway, Collectors is his latest film from 2020 but between Phantom Detective and that, I like PD more for its cinematography and getting to watch LJH working with child actors throughout the film. I haven't seen bts for Collectors but I did enjoy the bts for Phantom Detective and plus hey, there's GAR and they appeared on tv appearances for interviews and Running Man, met fans in different locations to promote so as a whole, it's a good film package for fans of his and GAR's work. Hurray! Double hurray!

But not the stalker one hahaha...i watched for the fun of it, that how you could stumbled into such edit! 😆 I didn’t watch the whole HP drama either as the storyline isn’t too interesting for me so I watched only the scenes where GAR cameo. 😬 She was refreshing to watch as this was her comeback after her leg injury and I love the bts with her interaction with other actors. 👍🏼 She mentioned in the bts that the recent injury (the one we saw during DDSSLLS table read) was due to a fall during hiking trip with friends. Hope she’s resting well and we will hear good news soon! ✌🏼

Awesome work 👏🏼 Thank you @JenL Start small and you’ll get to see the progress in many ways when you look back. Good, good, good! RaRa would say so. 😊 I read about you being good with holding tears for drama/film from the MTH discussion board haha. I think for me certain subject in that drama like adoption is something close to me as my mum and her two brothers were all adopted and raised by my late grandma. Another aspect of the drama was certainly HGR himself that made me remember the many life lessons I went through to try understanding, even for a little, of special children and their parents while working in a preschool with ABA therapy for autism. I’m reminded of so many more that I haven’t understand of their views of the world. And HGR has an added depth beyond the syndrome’s definition because he is HGR and a true MVP character included in the drama. You’re right that he is so important being the key in giving SG the healing he badly needed. It’s such an amazing storytelling really, the way they thread these characters together like how even SC played a role in trying to get SG reconnect with his brother. The other impact it had on me was the reason SG’s brother didn’t turn up that day, because of the collapse of that shopping mall. And the memories from documentaries I watched about the real story of that mall came into my mind. The Sampoong Department Store disaster has been mentioned in other kdramas like Black (where GAR acted in) except renamed each time. So I guess that’s how I became a mess during the last bit of the drama hehe. And I knew the drama could be heavy after watching the trailer but however much I could prepare, I didn’t know they were that detailed in their storytelling to bring awareness to trauma cleaners’ work. Again, such a precious and memorable drama for me. I even started to watch short documentaries of such work in Japan. It’s such a tough work these people do. 👏🏼 Good work @JenL haha...thanks again!

I was calculating in my head too about his MTH filming period haha. Thanks for this share! Now that could also explain his body appearance/shower scene in DDSSLLS’s ep 2 haha. Director see it an opportunity perhaps. Sometimes actors/actresses when they cameo right before their main lead role drama, they do tend to carry that cameo character vibe or vice versa anyway, depending which drama you watch first. As a fan, it could be a fun helpful hint. GAR gave that impression too when she appeared on Hospital Playlist before DDSSLLS so when I think about it, I could also sense a little bit of RaRa (doesn’t help that GAR-RaRa are similar in personality too haha) in her HP cameo. Aww...thanks for this @JenL!! Love love their bts and it’s really nice to get a little insight of how GAR or LJW think in their performance just by listening a little bit of detail in their short conversation between takes. Also loving LJW’s awesome chemistry with Lee Je-Hoon! What would it be like I wonder if I could have GAR working with them both again. I’m always thankful for GAR in choosing variation of projects that lead me to appreciating other excellent actors and actresses hence why I’m ok with waiting a bit longer for her next role. 😊 I’m also hoping to watch her cameo, if any, and I still love her cameo with IU in The Producers. It was so good and memorable for me that I don’t mind rewatching it. 😬

Yay! I finally watched Move to Heaven and I think we got that glimpse of potential of LJW being so awesome in an action drama/film with emotions and sentiments as a lead one day. I'm truly happy he got to work with this director AND the cast especially someone like Lee Je-Hoon. To me, LJH is a masterclass actor of his own unique style that I see LJW in the similar vein. Although LJW's character was only a cameo, he was integral as the story progress and I could feel their growing chemistry yet cut short with the storyline. I also can't help but to switch my thoughts to a vision of happy Jun in the midst of watching this sad character LJW is playing in MTH. Overall, I'm really really happy he chose this project for a cameo. Same thought, I didn't think his story arc would carry into a few episodes but it made so much sense when we realised LJH's character could never really move on with his life without carrying LJW's character with him everywhere because he made it his responsibility and then we'd realise that he could never abandon him due to the trauma he felt with his own brother. When I thought it was already heart wrenching understanding LJH and LJW's character relationship by the end of ep 7...I ultimately became a HUGE MESS at the next reveal - LJH and his brother's even deeper relationship that would affect the beautiful and developing relationship with his nephew. That locker scene was my lowest point. I had to have my tissue box next to me from then on. hahaha. I'll check it out soon! I would love it if LJW and GAR could work with this director too! You know the moment I saw him in the uniform...then thinking of Jun...my fear of his character gonna suffer some unfortunate fate minus meeting a girl he likes...I was already telling myself, I will not be this cool and collected soon. Can LJW not appear in school uniform like it's a telling...I don't know if I can take much more blow with his young characters being doom for sadness. Perhaps why I can't wait for him to "graduate" into more mature-looking characters NOT wearing uniforms haha. Unless if he acts as a spy and wear it as a disguise? haha. Haha yes please watch it when you have more time because LJH and GAR are just cool characters in it and overall a fun detective action film. You should check out his latest film Collectors if you haven't, I just recently watched it to anticipate Move To Heaven haha and it was like a smaller scale Indian Jones but more fun characters. I'm beginning to think that LJH picked a lot of projects that aligned with genre I love watching or reading since my childhood days. haha. Even GAR's project choices are as diverse as how I tend to switch between watching and reading stories. Maybe some of you share the same sentiments when it comes to your favourite actor/actresses. hehe. Doesn't help when GAR recent IG posts are at such beautiful places like these scenes! Glad you like it too! They've got so many rewatchable scenes that are impactful even on its own without watching the complete drama. Which is our preference now anyway hahaha. We've cut and trim all the unnecessary parts already!

Yeah didn't cross our minds an agency with a big star and a super rookie could handle it that way so I think it's fair that fans were/are upset about it. Nevertheless, now fans should trust him by waiting patiently for his good work in the next project. It does seem rare for any rookie actor in his position to take a long break after great success but I still think he deserves one after non-stop projects since 2019 (Search:WWW > Extraordinary You > When the Weather is Fine > DDSSLLS). With the new agency too, he can make a fresh and impactful comeback. It doesn't matter if media or public doesn't agree, as a fan, you can feel the impactful comeback. It's similar with GAR, whenever she takes a break...I will have to patiently wait and wait...and wait...haha...seeing other great actresses out there making drama after drama, winning popularity or acting awards here and there but she just takes her time...then when she does announce her new project, I'll be anticipating it without needing to put it in a watch list. Although I'm not a big fan of school drama but I love checking out the schools they use for filming. I've watched some dramas with school scenes eg. university...their university (well, the ones I've seen so far) have such a beautiful landscape that I would just crash into their schools just to hang out there and explore. Most definitely, if I was part of a filming crew, I want to be part of the location scout team. haha. Or set production team so I can build cool sets like the Lala Piano Land. Aww...somewhat like a serendipity! Twinkles must be a special kind of breed to understand the beauty of DDSSLLS through and through haha. Simple and KAWAII...Mimi is so fun to watch each time she appears on scene and even as fan art. hehe. The song and edit is wonderful but yes...the lyrics is so sad... I've shared this song by a Korean Indie band for another kdrama couple I liked back in 2019 and I think it suits RaRa and Jun too: "SF" by We Are The Night (SF means Sci-Fi here, cool right. My inner geek loves it already. I've enjoyed all of them and truly love their bts interactions that I know it's impossible to ask for more unless we were there as part of the filming crew haha. I hope they also feel the specialty of this project as much as we do. IKR...why, why can't we get a special episode or more scenes of this era / spin off...haha Good thinking there LJW! Now I'll think of this whenever I rewatch the scene. hehe. I'm so happy to know about this little conversation here...it's like an add-on scene of that episode except even better, it's them being themselves. She bonded with the puppy the moment she entered the house. Also that LJW said about GAR during their Telepathy Korean version interview - she would prefer countryside... There you go...because she loves spending time with her grandmother there. Here LJW talks about GAR talking to animals as she loves animals: Yeap, her first long conversations were with animals in this episode rather than the humans haha... True, the only time she took a longer break was when she had the foot injury while filming Haechi (2019)...really want to hear some good news of project from her soon I hope. Thanks for the update! Yeah we were hoping so much with AC or another agency of his DDSSLLS co-stars haha. Nevertheless, it's good to know he has signed with an agency now. I recognised some of the senior actors in that agency so I'm liking his choice but whichever agency though, it's his decision and I hope to see more of his future projects! I'm definitely watching this as LJW's next project (although a cameo role) and I find the storyline, together with the main characters very interesting plus there's gonna be Lee Je-Hoon in a non-romance genre. Loving it! haha. My kind of drama to get invested in. Hehe, yeah certain dramas are worth squeezing into a busy schedule. Hope you get timely breaks and pause too amidst everything. I didn't know they are known for Kpop idols haha but I do recognised actors like Hwang Jung-eum (She Was Pretty, Mystic Pop-up Bar), Ra Mi-ran (The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop), Park Sung-woong (Remember, Rugal) and Yoon Sang-Hyun (My Secret Teruis, 18 Again). I haven't watch this but definitely in my watch list! I agree, and was hoping LJW will take such roles soon! hehe. Whenever I need something light and healing, I can think of DDSSLLS and its many wonderful scenes and characters.

YESSS....LOVE IT! You can use their content as your own exercises and at the same time, find joy in it. And especially GAR has many more content not translated haha. Suddenly I thought of her appearance in TVN's Live Talk Taxi Show back in 2015 and until now I hope to find a translated version for that episode. Only some episodes have Eng sub. I liked that the show reunited her with Song Dong-Il and the director of Reply 1994, had an interesting way of conversing with the guest through a mix of Taxi ride etc and even asked about all her male co-stars; at that time, Lee Je-Hoon was her latest co-star. Wow! You're spoiling us again! haha. Every little bit of DDSSLLS / GAR / LJW content is very welcome indeed. Haha I thought that too or a Math genius when I saw his exercise books then Seung-gi and Ha-Young trying to solve an equation he wrote on the white board and also didn't he wish Mimi can solve some equation too as part of her talent? Correct me if I'm wrong haha. And I thought Jun is simply someone who needed to be alone to cope with grief, away from the pace of a city he once lived. That the focus will be more of him and the person he lost. So having wealthy parents and him being a student written into the plot can somewhat be a bummer for me as that's nothing really new in kdrama however LJW did a great job making me invested with Jun's mysterious yet light persona that I can enjoy watching. Since we all know there were some who just want to drop the drama once they know Jun's still a student. Now, this has become even harder to not notice the drama when it's out...I pushed the YES button when I saw him in UC trailer. hahaha... I really like his character in Falsify Same...and I'll feel a bit better once GAR update us on her next project too. So I can cheer them both at the same time. Thanks for this info! She reminds me of LJW’s own rise in the industry. Just like him, she debut and got recognised immediately for her potential and signed by an agency. She’s working on a lead role right on her second project! Quite an achievement and perhaps her other work experiences prior to debut gave her enough tools to make a mark on the tv drama screen. I like that she’s a fresh face rookie so pairing with LJW will also allow him to challenge himself to lead the show more especially if this time, the drama’s protagonist is LJW/male character. I’ve watched Master’s Sun and enjoyed it back then so knowing it’s the same writers as the recent Hotel Del Luna, now I’m not surprised it’s fantasy genre hehe. And adding romance however the spectrum, is usually the case in fantasy which I don’t mind at all. A lot of fantasy reads and watch I’ve done have different levels of romance even the likes of Lord of the Rings films. Getting the right pairing for a fantasy romance can be interesting to me because aside from chemistry, the actor needs to make me believe in that fantasy world he/she is in. It has to intrigue my imagination. So I might actually watch LJW’s next drama for its fantasy genre first and foremost 😊 Hope we get an official confirmation soon ✌🏼 True JDrama style of acting and writing is definitely not for some people’s liking haha. I recently found bts feature for one of my fave Jdramas and was quite disappointed at how little they give to showcase the chemistry and/or bloopers from the best scenes. Nevertheless because Jdrama is often with comic sense and can do kawaii like it’s in them already, I figure a show like DDSSLLS could be reimagined as a Jdrama with their own way of ending too. I think a character like RaRa would be interesting, relatable or even manga-like. I like your suggestions of actors and hey, they can always act “older” and “younger” as what LJW and GAR did. Haha. Of the actors i’ve watched in Jdrama, I might choose these pairs who had a great chemistry in their film Hiroin Shikkaku where the actress, Mirei Kiritani, is good with facial expression like Rara and the actor, Kento Yamazaki, is good at acting cold but can give that elusive smile like Jun. The actress is also older (5yrs) than the actor in real life. Ooh...i like both of their styles, different yet still depicts DDSSLLS characters and scene nicely. This again reminds me why the drama can continue as webtoon haha. Please do give it a try with your sister! 😆 You know well what scenes we would love to have extended and rewritten. 😂

These posters are a lovely touch. Normally I would hate it if things are over advertised and making a wall look messy but these posters look great around Mokpo beautiful homes and buildings. I think the drama itself is such a welcome so it’s fitting for its set to be kept to welcome visitors. 🥳 I finally finished watching the last two episodes of Uncanny Counter...seriously I can’t seem to hold my tears for this counter family. The genre and story appeals to me right from its trailer when I first en-counter-ed it (haha) so I’m still a little curious what really nailed it for the mass viewers making it popular and got its second season. Yay, I’m glad you know Le Je-Hoon and now watching his work. I love the way he speaks from the moment I went to check him out after a viewer mentioned how her mum likes the way he speaks. Haha. Yeah what a way I got to know about him. At the time, I was watching his first drama after his military service which was Secret Door. I caught a glimpse of it but not sure I wanted to watch another drama based on Crown Prince Sado’s life hence I read viewer’s episode review. So I think around that time, he was going to film Phantom Detective with Go Ara and that film and his following drama Signal are my favourite of his until now. Maybe because it highlights the way he speaks 😆 I’m planning to watch more of his recent works too✌🏼As usual, I’ve avoided his romance work so far as I prefer him in detective/crime/action genre. Yes, please take care and take time to slow down. Keep yourself hydrated and sleep early! 👍🏼 Precisely sometimes I just rather not keep a list anymore haha. Usually I’ll take more notes on those that i can rewatch and I’ve enjoyed rewatching drama/film years later. Hahaha...well you’re a seasoned viewer of such ending by now and understand DDSSLLS so well that the ending for A Piece of Your Mind is a piece of cake to swallow.👌🏼 The one drama that I did watch after so many in this forum mentioned was The Good Detective. It was refreshing to watch the male lead actor as I’ve never heard or seen his work but he was great in the role. I expect no less from the rest of the cast as most are whom I’ve seen their work before. Overall a good story, pacing and well-written characters. Probably been a while since I felt like “why didn’t I know about this?!” Ikr...and they work well together as we’ve seen in bts and interviews. C’mon writers and directors, please cast them together again! 🙌🏼

Yeah I would love to see their home environment together especially curious Rara will reveal more of her deep relationship with her father that likely will affect how she would want to bring into her life with Jun. Aside from her father being supportive of her music journey that we’ve seen. Also unlike how we’re shown in the later episodes, I think a continuous communication with characters like her piano teacher and the ex-secretary would show more of their special relationships whom she learned life lessons from and that unknowingly she would eventually share with the people around her in Eunpo without these 3 important figures next to her for the most part of what we’ve seen. I feel like there’s more life lessons; be it fun or loving ways, that Rara could share with the viewers once she’s settled with Jun because Jun is also that catalyst for her to do/say the next thing. (And as Jun say, she’s always right though) As they build a place together and much happenings in each of their daily lives, I love to imagine that they would have their own special way to meet each other halfway and reach their home. Yeah I’m still such a sucker for Rara playing that Welcome song for Jun each time he comes back. 😙 On another note, I certainly think Jun fits to have his own design studio, designing homes of course haha. I like TVN and OCN the most for thats where I found most of the memorable dramas for me. So I’m looking forward to more details of it however if it’s romance, I’ll probably won’t be watching live. I’m hoping romance is just a supporting role ✌🏼 However I would love to check out Move To Heaven where he has a cameo 😊. I think DDSSLLS can continue as a webtoon if a super talented fan make it happen based on many fans’ wish lists. 😆 And you guys have so much ideas that if I’m a film producer, I’ll use all of the combined writing talents here to make a DDSSLLS sequel as a movie. There might even be a trilogy 😂 So fun! I remember a JDrama that had an interesting pairing but didn’t think they could expand them into a movie! Even after getting a second season! What I like in Jdrama is that kind possibility of never say never...down the road, 3 years later or even 9 years, they could make it happen for a reunion of cast and continuation of a drama. Nevertheless I still enjoy watching both for its own content and how sometimes they remake each other’s drama ✌🏼 Now that I think of that...any of you feel like Jdrama could make a good remake/adaptation of DDSSLLS and who would you think make a good pairing to act as Rara and Jun? 🧐

Omg thanks for the discovery from our great DDSSLLS content 🕵🏻‍♀️ ! Haha. These are so awesome and GAR is so funny walking/standing with that cast hanging over her shoulders between takes. Any bts scenes of them is my happy pill. 😜 Yeah! And maybe from GAR too haha since they sometimes post around the same time coincidentally, looking at recent ones. Hehe. I don’t know if I’m moving on from DDSSLLS or it’s just that DDSSLLS will always have a very special place and meaning for me. If I were to follow my go-to genre, Sci-fi and crime/detective usually get my utmost dedication because they have many interesting characters and plots eg Fringe, Bones and another of my fave, Eureka. I followed these series and rewatched them. Then sometimes something unique like DDSSLLS will come along and I love it equally and wish it’s a continued series. Haha. Yeah getting back my energy slowly and waiting for that instincts to pick up a new drama although I do have a rough list but I never follow anyway. Haha. How’s catching up on GAR and LJW’s past work? I haven’t watch some of GAR’s older films like Papa and Pacemaker. 😌 Was finishing an anime Run with the Wind that’s about running/life and I wish it could developed into a kdrama, now that so many kdramas are based on webtoons. And instead of the Run On kdrama that turned out so-so for me.
