I don't look or do other stuff while watching to avoid missing any info and I still find new info when I rewatched 😆. @abs-oluteM @40somethingahjumma @ktcjdrama @Chocolate @mademoiselleSome Knetz analyzed Kairos posters. The analysis for the group poster is interesting because I never tried to decipher a kdrama poster before 🤓. 1) the arrangement of characters is anti-clockwise, as if turning back time. 2) 10:33:00 is written near Seojin, Aeri and Dogyun. There's no 10:33:00 around Hyunchae. As if to tell which character will experience or understand the time crossing.     Half the files is with Seojin. Kim Jin Ho delivered half the files to him. Kim Jin Ho got the files from Aeri omma at the hospital in earlier eps. He sent enough info to make Seojin start investigating the collapse 19 years ago. Jin Ho kept half the documents and the pendrive. That's why they are still tracking Kim Jin Ho in the future. KJH contacted Aeri omma via a payphone and he went to deliver the file to her officetel. This is the file Dogyun took. In Aeri's timeline, Aeri is trying to get in touch with Kim Jin Ho. But Kim Jin Ho is on the run, so Aeri and gang went to the hospital to drop of her number for Kim Jin Ho to contact. When JH got the number, he contacted Aeri omma and omma told him to give the files to Aeri. That's why Aeri and GW went to meet him and basicly arrived just in time to save his life. Interesting thing is...the files is not at Kim Jin Ho's house. He kept it somewhere else. Now Kim Jin Ho is in a coma. Therefore the future scene that he met Aeri omma at the officetel didn't happen. And the files under Dogyun's bed vanished. In Aeri timeline, she told future Seojin that impossible to get the file now because JH is in a coma. What they can hope for is JH to wake up in the future, so they can find where the document is. The scene that JH moved his finger is in Seojin's timeline, a month after KJH murder attempt. A lot of things changed because Lee Taek Gyu got caught in the past. That introduced the corrupt policeman into the mix, a new viarable that the protagonists didn't expect. A speculation is corrupt policeman is Soojung's dad. That's why she was so out of it when she visited mum at the officetel after Aeri's death. Huhuhu

    @mademoiselle The future Seojin and Dokyun remember everything after they experience talking to Aeri in the past. Future Seojin remember everything from the kidnapping. Future Dokyun does not remember the kidnapping (because for him the incident didn't happen due to Aeri's interception), his additional memories start from the accident because he only talked to Aeri after the car accident. Both Seojin and Dogyun in Aeri timeline are oblivious of future incidents or incidents that never happened. The rule is: those in the future who talk to Aeri in the past remembers new events. There are only 3 people who talked to past Aeri via Seojin's phone: Seojin (kidnapping), Dogyun (accident) and Aeri omma (aeri's death). Aeri omma is currently unconcious in the hospital, so we don't get to see her having new memories. Another rule: everything in Aeri's timeline is permanent. So anything that happens there is fixed and will remain in memory. For example Geun wook. GW from the future never talked to Aeri in the past. So he doesn't have the same experience as Seojin and Dogyun. He remembers Seojin because he picked up his call once and saved Aeri because of it. He met Seojin when Aeri was caught for kidnapping attempt. Future Geunwook remembers all these incidents because all of them has happened for him, he does not get new info from special flashbacks. Another rule: all characters change according to any change made in the past and has no recollection of incidents that never happened (except for Seojin and Dogyun). The easiest example is Hyunchae. Hyunchae does not remember her attempt to kill Seojin at the villa. The cops also didn't remember any of Aeri previous murder attempts. Future Seojin didn't forget the phonecall exchange...future Seojin was unconcious during the kidnapping attempt. I think you've mixed up future and past Seojin/Dogyun 😅. Seojin in Aeri timeline during the kidnapping is oblivious to any phonecalls happened, becuase the phonecalls didn't happen yet. Flashbacks is exclusive to future characters. Those in the present aka Aeri timeline does not experience flashbacks. As explained above, Dogyun still remembers the accident. This was said by future Seojin in ep 14. He said to Dogyun: 'In one timeline, the kidnapping did happen, I remember it all until the villa incident but you won't remember it. You only remember the accident and what happens after.' I find mum reaction understandable. But as a viewer I too feel frustrated just like Aeri. I view this from Aeri's point of view. The drama is refreshing to me because we learn new info along with the characters. Aeri has repeatedly ask her mum what is she hiding, just like viewers asking the same thing. But mum being a mum thinks that the best to do, hiding the bad things from her daughter to protect her. Aeri's kidnapping was omma's wakeup call. When she finally realizes it's no use trying to keep this from her daughter and that it's not the right way to protect her. We get to see character growth as the story progress. Mum has changed so much from start to now.

    If Geunwook listened to Aeri: 'to keep calm no matter what happens' and didn't suddenly attacked TaekGyu...the gps tracker wouldn't have been found. When Geunwook suddenly attacked TG, I went 'Nooooo!!!! Don't you remember what Aeri told the night before?!'. Anyways...I feel that Aeri and Seojin underestimated Lee Taek Gyu and what he could do. Their plan was good but it wasn't good enough. I mean LTG plotted more than 5 deaths: dabin, seojin, hyunchae, aeri, aeri omma, they need a super solid plan to keep up with him 😂. I assume they didn't check after Seojin was captured. They didn't need to because their aim was to capture Seojin and they did capture him there. I have thoughts for this but...I have to watch ep 14 now hahahah. And I might rewatch ep 13 to understand the ending better 😆 Edit: @mademoiselle the file thing is explained in ep 14 😎

    Nooooooo...don't redeem Hyunchae 😭😭😭. Poor Seojin had to go through all that trauma because of her plan and Do Gyun. Do Gyun is a lost cause...I want them to pack theor bags and go away. Dabin can stay with Seojin 😆

    Yay!!! Welcome to the thread @SilverMoonTea 🥳 I think Aeri and Seojin have a great connection (I ship 🤭) and I'm glad SSR picked Kairos too 😆🤩. Haha. Yeah the title is weird. I also complained about the title when it was announced 😂. But it actually matches the theme of the drama. Kairos is the right, critical or opportune moment...which is exactly what the characters are trying to find: the right moment to act.

    Yay! Welcome to the thread 😆 I think the timeslip is because of both dads. Aeri dad in the rubble and Seojin dad killed while trying to investigate the cause of the collapse. About the 31 days under the rubble, other than no food...I'm thinking how horrific it was to be there with a decaying corpse 😭😱

    After watching ep 12 and ep 13 preview I think Aeri's death is because of herself. She's a bulldozer. I can see why her mum wants to keep the info from Aeri because if she tells her...we don't know what Aeri will do to get the truth. I mean...look at what she did to stop Dabin's kidnapping~ 😅 Iirc, Mum didn't want to handover whatever she had in hand (recording) and it was not with her at the time chairman met her. I feel that mum never wanted to go against chairman in the first place, that's why the info was not spread after so many years. She saw what happened to Seojin's dad. I think the new redevelopment plan for the site, made her and the other victims start to react. Anyways...😭😭😭😭😭😭 Ep 12 ratings broke my heart. So so so so sad 😭 Edit...about Seojin past and present.     The one in the hospital and the one who was hit by Taekyung at the villa. There are several Aeri and Seojins because the month is changing. 1) Seojin9 v1 : the one who lost his family and communicated with Ari. Seojin9 was hit by Taekyung in October. He dissappeared when Aeri9 prevented the kidnapping 2) Seojin8/Seojin9 v2: this is the Seojin in Aeri's timeline, the one Aeri met and didn't believe her. After the kidnapping in Sept, Seojin gets flashes of Seojin9v1 memories. Seojin9v2 will be involved in an accident on 9th October 2020. 3) Seojin10: Seojin10 is Seojin9v2+Seojin9v1 after the accident. I assume this Seojin will now have memories of the actual kidnapping, his wife suicide attempt, all the betrayal around him + new info about his dad + construction.

    I think Seojin10 knows it all. He knows all the events up to the moment that HC-Dogyun wanted to kill him at the villa. Hehe...looks like ep11 was filmed in late October. He wore this outfit to an impromptu master in the house shooting

    I'm still on my Seojin-Aeri boat. Sailing slowly hahahahaha. I support GW and Soojung~ 😆 Ep 9-10 were amazing. I was mentally preparing for it to go slightly downhill as it enters the 2nd half but it didn't. It remained tightly written and I find it all understandable and it makes sense. Their actions makes sense and I don't need to make sense for them. Lol. I think HC is one of the rare psychos in kdramas who are born psycho with no remorse. No matter which timeline she never changed and keeps plotting nefarious plans. I do wonder if she suddenly feels for Seojin, after ep 10. Did Seojin's softness soften he stone heart a bit? If only she was not a psycho killer who made Seojin suffer so much....i would totally support them. They are such a pretty family. Nam Gyuri and SSR should reunite in another drama as a loving couple, but wait after SR-Jang Nara reunion happen first hahahaha. A part of me think HC burned her house down to escape her life and start new and it doesn't have to do with dad being a bad guy. I think she is imagining her dad is still alive. I find it weird that dad entered the ladies toilet at a big venue. He can easily be caught. Seojin 'seeing' dad at their house could be a red herring. It's all in HC's head. Tidbit: HC's name in the texts with dad is Yuna. Some of my speculations based on details noticed by knetz. Disclaimer this is pure speculation

    It took me a few days to realize this 😅....i think whatever happened in the first half is repeating in ep8 but repackaged differently: a) In the original timeline, Aeri was jailed for killing Geunwook. In the new timeline, she was in custody for kidnapping Dabin. b) In the original timeline, Seojin was about to die at the villa in October. In the new timeline, he's about to die in his car, also in October. Something had happened to Aeri at the end of September. Seojin9 can't track Dabin using Aeri's details she provided him. She had to give him Geunwook details for him to use the app. I wonder what happened to her. I think the beginning of ep 8 are also new events. In ep1, Seojin and HC discussed about the charity show+babysitter in their bedroom the night before the show, but in ep8 they fought the night before and talked about it over breakfast. These are new memories for injured Seojin 😢. (Edit: after rewatching ep 8, maybe the golf and breakfast scene is from an earlier year, because iinm HC performs at the event each year) About the kidnapping...Seojin8 planted the cops to capture Aeri based on the evidence he gathered. If Aeri didn't go to the venue, if she could have talked to Seojin9 after he found his family...the events would be totally different. In some sense...both Aeri8 and Seojin8 caused the real culprits to run free. Aeri and gang didn't keep tabs on DG and LTG at the venue because both Aeri8 and Seojin9 never really connected them to the kidnapping, they focused on KJH as the kidnapper. DG and LTG were connected to Aeri's death and mum's death. I dunno why but I feel that Seojin is meant to die. He miraculously survived a building collapse. If it wasn't for Aeri's messages, he would have killed himself in the original timeline. I want him to survive but I won't be surprised if he doesn't live at the end, he's so lonely and his world is just starting to fall apart again in this new September, while the memories of old Sept are starting to comeback too. Probably the last thing he does is expose the corruption in the company before he dies. And I will cry if this happens 😭 What I wish the most is....he is not the bad guy. I don't want him to be the evil one. Nooo...don't give me Trap 2.0. I'm rooting for him.
