  1. Somebody with a good heart managed to translate the kinky part of TRS novel. And tbh, it didn't help when: 1. Junho actually read TRS novel and Fifty Shades of Grey (and made a song thanks to the latter book lmao) 2. Some Korean netz at theqoo wanted this drama to be on Netflix and make it R19 (like a Korean Bridgerton) Sharing a very short edited video clip/FMV I made :)
  2. Some new articles today lmao The Red Sleeve be doing good positive impact too!
  3. Additional source from Wikitree article: Industry peeps were rooting for Lee Junho in The Red Sleeve. They seem to be very happy that the actor is now recognized widely after so many years. also available on Youtube: Hope they actually include everything we knew about the ending which includes:
  4. @abs-oluteM actually OP isn't sure if the info of Lee Se Young's royal lineage is true (but it sounds likely hahahaha pls it should be verified). Junho confessed his royal lineage via Radio Star so in case you wanna see it, you can watch it. Spoiler from the novel about Deok Im's last "hurrah"
  5. RACOI rankings in 1st week of December 2021 (more on the tweet's thread)
  6. Junho really wants us dead, does he? (referring to his vlog upload) Subbed version of the interview LOL Apparently Junho was not able to film on time at first because he's doing 2PM activities, so Seyoung ended up waiting for him lol Spoiler from Seyoung
  7. HAHAHAHAHA should I confess that I keep rewatching this unpleasant scene, as it is one of the best shown so far in this drama Yep, she still drew the line that she's doing this out of her chosen loyalty towards him as a future leader of the country. Actually, in my opinion, CL Jo is very very late in her timing. Had Deok Im not seen what happened when the king slapped San, she might have been able to get Deok Im on her side. All that grooming she did for Deok Im was not totally fruitful. Sad, but good for San though LOL I pretty much finally finished dissecting the episode last night and also saw another good dissection of their relationship as well. Yes hahahaha that's the complexity of their relationship. Someone on Reddit said that San and Deok Im shared a combination of different types of relationship. Here's what I can come up in my own POV: 1. As friends who are equals 2. A subject and a royal leader 3. Master and servant 4. Man and woman If we try to see what went wrong in their relationship in episode 7 starting from CL Jo's concubine proposal, it's 1 and 4. That one took a big toll on Deok Im and it's just right that she finally met her long-lost brother, which allows her to give a breather on how she plans to go with her life. While Deok Im had a breather, San still couldn't recover from the rejection. Because he no longer has 4, he tries to assert himself using 3 because that is what currently ties him and Deok Im together. However, in episode 7, Deok Im stresses what she thinks a servant still has the right to have which is independent from the master and servant relationship. Someone said that San could have punished Deok Im a lot of times for denying what custom calls for her as a court lady in that era, yet San decides to shoulder everything instead and suffers for it. And because he suffered, even a separate outlet like archery isn't enough. So I think San making a full emphasis on 3 is just apt in order to let Deok Im know and show a glimpse on how much he chose to shoulder all that. The biggest awkward moment for the two was shown in episode 8, right after Deok Im's friends asked help from the crown prince. Just when he stressed 3 a few days ago, there he seems to be indifferent as noticed by Queen Jeongsun. I think he did not understand at first how court ladies also have their own mind, heart, and will. Queen Jeongsun saw that from Deok Im's determination wherein she will do her best to fight for her right to live. At the same time, Deok Im saw how San was not making an effort to at least make room for appealing her innocence, which eventually led to Deok Im's own misunderstanding about it. However, Deok Im must have understood after the incident that not all time, just like what San claimed, that he has the power to decide how her life goes. He could only do so much. Then at the part wherein they finally met King Yeongjo, San indirectly discovers that Deok Im once tried to save him during the tiger hunt incident which are 2 and 3. Adding further the little rebuke made by the queen and Deok Im's determination, he finally understands all the reasons presented. So he is now doing his part to finally save Deok Im's life. By kneeling down in front of the king and in front of Deok Im to support and protect her, San actually restores 1 and 4. And the same goes when they ended up kneeling down in front of the king side by side. As San looks at Deok Im, he is trying to apologize to her at the same time, with 1 and 4 restoration in progress. Even after Deok Im was saved thanks to the king's long term memory (with Deok Im earning the respect further from the queen and the crown prince), I felt that Deok Im and San were still awkward with each other. San tries to be friendly with her once again, an attempt to fully restore 1 and 4. And then their second chance starts full force after their childhood trope case came to a close. 8. Found a comment from Reddit which also luckily agree to what I thought also lol
  9. Lee Se Young TV voice call interview translation: Deok Im's real calligraphy
  10. Someone said King Yeongjo asked San to visit the grave. But whose grave? Idk tbh Cause the ones I saw about the late Crown Prince Sado grave visit was beyond the rebellion year... I'm gonna continue episode 8 tomorrow. But looking at Deok Im's situation after she got framed up, San realizes it's even harder for Deok Im (I watched short clips for now lol). He's stuck in a situation that even if he tries to change her destiny, he can lose her forever. I think that's what finally humbled him. I think there are still complexities in their relationship. Hahahaha idk it looks funny that the push and pull between them is just a little confusing at times. Also, since that moment San declares Deok Im as his possession, their relationship has gone sour. There's nothing that could hold them together even if one of them tries to. But because the childhood connection was explored, I felt that this was a second chance for both of them. Anyway I found the banter when Deok Im said "court lady's life isn't easy" and San saying "so is the crown prince too" or something like that so funny. That was the mark of their second chance in their relationship. They're back in the same foot wherein they still lived a difficult life. Sad spoiler from the novel:
  11. I finally visited the comment thread at theqoo regarding the cult group/secret organization setup Some things I found from the comment thread (based from what I can get using machine translation): 1. A few said that there was indeed a secret organization of the court ladies, however the drama made it too dramatic (the whole grand setup, the torches, the directing). 2. In the assassination attempt to King Jeongjo in 1776, there was a court lady involved in that plot. So the local viewers said the drama laid the secret organization down in the episode to set the setting up, but again too dramatic. ~
  12. I'm gonna camp at theqoo for a while, but I heard the local viewers were not welcoming of that cultish group led by Head Court Lady Jo. And some were not happy about the possibility that the drama will paint the late Crown Prince Sado's cause of death in a different light. Some goodies I wanna share: Another translation of Jeongjo's final words for Deok Im
  13. Reddit comments you might want to read. I'll put this under spoiler first :) episode 9 trivia: Translated comments thread on episode 8:
  14. Waaaah I haven't finished watching episode 7 but I finally made a good guess on how Deok Im will be saved
  15. We have yet to see that later, but I'm sure Deok Ro played a hand on this game which led to the "dispose Deok Im" movement.
  16. Aigoo Yi San be doing everything for her LOL Okay I think I know what is the Chinese word on Deok Im's back. It's 明 (read as Ming). Not sure if it represents any factions because back in Yeongjo and Jeonjo's era, there was a fight between 2 factions. I told @czakhareina earlier, episode 8's premise sounds like Head Court Lady Jo plans to dispose off Deok Im because she is no longer of use for the anti-San agenda. So by disposing her, it will strip off the political advantages both the crown prince and the queen have. Because of that setup, both the queen and the crown prince are placed in the tight position. Though I wonder if Deok Im will expose the fact to King Yeongjo that she met him at the wake... when he's not supposed to be there too in the first place. Hahahaha thanks to @abs-oluteM's sharing of the Knetizen's comment, I found Yi San's partial theme song LOL Oh well let me watch properly later leaving this fact here since most of us are clowning about TANGERINES lol Articles, posts, and comments thread
  17. @czakhareina shared the YT link, so I'm gonna catch up with all the YT links shared so far. This was from the link she just shared. His Highness has finally compensated us for what he did last weekend LOL
  18. His acting career for sure will be launched to a greater heights in 2022
  19. @czakhareina I don't know if I'm correct but NPIO Entertainment used to be JYP Actors. You can search about NPIO Entertainment. Actually the reason how I found out about it because I was searching for 2PM's Wild Beat pictures. Junho didn't move to that company (so I think he chose JYPE to manage his acting career instead). Some articles for today:
  20. I knew @czakhareina will ask for it previous casting article: I'm guessing he rejected it right away as he wasn't ready for that burden yet. Upon checking the original text, they said he was the first choice of the production team. So is it possible that they sent it first to Kim Kyung Nam because during that time it was offered to KKN, Junho is still in the public service? also NPIO is related with JYP if I'm not mistaken, so they "somehow" prioritized their original talents first, which also includes Kang Hoon and others if you noticed.
  21. I don't know what happened but this ILA screencap and related tweets are going viral too LOL And his recent vlog is trending as well lol
