    Hello everyone! It’s been a while. I have not been into many kdramas lately. I fell in love with doom at your service initially but it lost its spark halfway through. Unfortunately, there has yet to be a drama I have waited for excitedly every week since dodosolsollalasol. It’s nice to see this thread is still relatively active. It was fun catching up on the posts! I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since it first aired. I have been rewatching so many clips from Netflix/The Swoon. I might rewatch, I just need to find the strength to push through the heart ache.

    Aw thanks for the goodies, @JenL. I certainly miss this show, and I don’t think anything will fill that void until I see a new drama with our leads lol. But right now I’ve been brought back to dramaland by Doom at Your Service! Can’t believe it’s been 6 months. Nothing else has piqued my interest since ddsslls ended.

    I like it so far! It seems to be an easy watch. I’m surprised by the ratings. It premiered higher than doom at your service. I did not know Jang Ki Yong and Hyeri were that popular, but I do love their chemistry.

    Oh my gosh how am I supposed to wait one week after episode 6??? This show is seriously addicting.

    Ah so there will be no SLS in this show. Kinda interesting that’s there no competing second lead for our FL. I thought LSH was the SL at first.

    That cameo was the best. Will always love KJS. I’m interested to know more about LSH’s character. Seems like he’s harboring an interest on Dong Kyung. Every time they show him, I keep thinking he would be perfect to play a grim reaper also. His beauty is just otherworldly. However, Seo In Guk is killing it as Myul Mang. Since he has the power to heal, would he be able to cure her cancer? If so, I wonder what price he pays every time he uses his healing powers. He kept saying how there’s a consequence to all of his actions.

    Watched the first episode and love it so far! This will be my first drama since dodosolsollalasol. Funny how I went from one last minute cancer twist to finding out the FL has cancer in the first scene. I absolutely can’t say no to ashow starring Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young.

I didn’t think anything of it initially when I saw his story but seeing the insta post made me take a look at the songs again. The song choices and titles are definitely interesting. I wonder if the contract termination might be related to a dating scandal. In any case, I hope he’s doing ok.

    Nooo. I’ve been away from recent k-ent stuff the past few days, and I can’t believe this is happening. It definitely seems weird that vast ent practically deleted all connections with LJW. Wasn’t he supposed to be Hyun Bin’s protégée or something? I feel like a 2 year contract is so short if he was invested in him. I really hope it’s not related to a big scandal. Ji Soo’s was pretty bad and completely shocked me. The timing of him cancelling his next drama and all this seems weird though...

    I can’t believe it’s been 3 months since the show ended. I’m ready for another LJW x GA project. I have enjoyed reading everyone’s post here. And thank you @JenL for all your hard work. Your blog is so helpful in giving me ideas for places to visit once I’m able to travel again!

Even if it’s not from LJW, I hope she has someone in her life that makes her happy. But I’m especially hoping it’s LJW...hahah

    A staff member must be a shipper like us too. Or maybe they lurk here?? I also am surprised about that idol getting a big role already. I didn’t think her acting was that good or anything special. Her dramas will be a hard pass for me as well. I don’t want to be reminded of the suffering the show put us through.

    Totally agree about weightlifting fairy and strong woman do bong soon. Sometimes nothing can replicate the amazing chemistry. I’d rather rewatch the show than see them in a pairing I don’t like. Although I wouldn’t mind Go Ara and Park Hyung Sik after seeing Hwarang

    @eNDe omg the recent balenciaga photos makes me think they’re a secret couple that’s giving subtle hints with the matching outfit. I’m probably reading too much into it though...😅 It just reminds me of when idols get caught dating and there’s dispatch photos of couple outfits (like similar scarves). also on her birthday post, she’s wearing an oversized bomber jacket. It’s definitely something that LJW/Jun would wear.

    I don’t think my heart can handle another drama with LJW without Go Ara. They just suit each other perfectly. Maybe I will need a year to get over this couple/show... But I agree YSH with Go Ara is cute too. I haven’t seen their movie but their guerilla date on YouTube was super cute. He has great chemistry with his costars too. My other hope is Go Ara with Seo Kang Joon. She was offered the female lead in Are You Human Too but declined. Their eyes are both beautiful too.

    So it looks like best couple went to Homemade Lovestory? I’m so sad. First no Go Ara and now no best couple award. Low ratings and a bad ending really hurt the show. I feel like we’re the only ones who were greatly impacted by DDSSLLS. For me, it started with Jun’s reaction to RaRa in her wedding dress. I was hooked from then on.

    Merry Christmas, everyone! I clicked so fast as soon as I saw the swoon video. I've watched the beach bts so many times before, but I didn't catch when LJW said Go Ara was so cute looking for hermit crabs, and he couldn't stop cheesing. Netflix really gifted us more RaRaJun for Christmas.

    Sorry to be slightly off topic guys but I can’t stop thinking of this. I did some “research.” I noticed LJW’s past kiss scenes he doesn’t use his thumb to caress the costar’s face. But in DDSSLLS, every scene he is holding her face and caressing with his thumb. I thought it added a really romantic touch to their scenes. I wonder if it’s the suggestion of the director. Also same for Go Ara. Her kiss scenes are definitely different from the past where she hardly reacts. I hope it’s something else that produced these results, but if it’s the director’s doing then good job, PD-nim!! It definitely feels more intimate watching their scenes, like an IRL couple.

    Second lead syndrome is hitting hard. I just want more scenes with Seo Joon. I had reservations when the actor was cast, but he’s actually making the character so much more lovable despite the limited screen time! The scenes with the main couple are super cute as well. I think CEW is doing well as SuHo so far! @JenL I have to agree with @eNDe. Unfortunately I will have to skip this scene because it hurts my RaRaJun shipping heart too much. The fake gf in DDSSLL already did enough damage.

    Another video from Netflix. They really refuse to let us get over RaRaJun. I’m not complaining. @JenL thanks for sharing this video. I really want them to win.

    I like what they did with the teacher. He’s so funny trying to act in with the kids. 😂 In the webtoon he didn’t really do much. I like that his character here is a bit more fleshed out and super adorable with the kids. Choosing between Su Ho and Seo Joon really is the biggest conundrum. HIY is actually so perfect as Seo Joon. I loved all his scenes in this episode. I can’t believe he’s 30.

    @eNDe I love this scene too! Their playful banter was just too cute. Wish we got scenes of RaRaJun just living together for the finale. This is my first drama with LJW, and I watched search www afterwards. Not that he was ever bad in the first place, but after watching that and the Netflix video his acting has really improved in DoDoSol.

    @JenL nice to see you here. Yes, I decided to watch because I heard about his cameo. I will take anything until him and Go Ara pick new projects. I’ve read up until the most recent free chapter. I’m a little apprehensive since the webtoon hasn’t ended yet so I’m hoping to avoid a cheese in the trap ending like others have mentioned.

    Ahh this thread exists!! I’m so excited. I’m having DoDoSol withdrawal. Thank you for translating the clip @stroppyse. Wish we could see the other promo clips that are region locked. In one of the other Swoon videos he says he doesn’t call her sunbae in private. I wonder if that’s true.

    I checked out the first episode because I needed something sweet to fill the hole left by dodosol. Maybe it’s because I follow the webtoon, but I found myself skipping through a lot of the scenes. Overall, I still like the feel of the show. I’ve never seen Gangnam Beauty, but I surprisingly like Cha Eun Woo as Su Ho. Hope they mix up the plot a bit since there’s not much going on in the webtoon. They really need to sell SuHoJuGyeong though otherwise everyone will have extreme SLS when Seo Jun shows up. I’ve only seen Lee Tae Ri in tale of the gumiho, so I was thrown off when I saw him play a silly character.
