  1. It's honestly not much you're missing out, the cases are all following the same pattern and the big case is somewhat predictable. I felt like it was different in S1, but by now you just know the team is pretty much invincible and untouchable. Looking forward to todays finale though.
  2. Soooo last two episodes....let's get this over with. Honestly I am kinda glad the season ends this week, it was fun to watch, but a lot weaker than I expected. Episode 15 Recap Yeah.....and the other kids were like "Oh you are On Ha-Jun now? Sure, no problem, don't worry about killing our friend. We cool." So our dear bishop trained his own nameless killing teenage ninja turtle and told him about what's evil or not. @abs-oluteMDon't know if you remember, but the Black Auction Ring from 'Men to Men' was much cooler than these rings. Wow, the first bad guys who managed to get the idea to just call this "revenge" taxi company that plasters the whole city with stickers. Did the team never run a backup check about the people who are actually entering the taxi? Did they always take every word for granted? Were they so sloppy in S1 aswell? Prosecutor Kang Ha Na. Yaaay. Canon in D One of my favorite classical pieces. This alone might save this episode. Prison Psycho Do-Ki is kinda fun. Still, this season had way too many stuff like that. Shin Jae Ha gets his speech, but I feel absolutely nothing. He is just not hateable, but simply because his role never grew enough to be so big and evil. Somehow the bishop is much more.....fearsome as Shin Jae Ha. Especially since the bishop also talks of him like an immature raging teenager who needs to grow up by beating his self chosen rival Do Ki. And somehow this picture of JH is present throughout the drama. Okay, last episide looks super exciting. Honestly, if they do what I think they do, I might be open for S3.
  3. Episode 14 Recap We really are back at the cult. Now they even have a church, they pray and we know they are also slapping each other frequently aswell. I highly doubt 200KG of Drugs are guarded so easily. No way they can exchange it so quickly without anyone noticing. He doesn't appeal to Do Ki's "methods"? What "methods"? He didn't kill anyone nor made he suffer anyone innocent, he even risked his own life and was barely killed. Do Ki could have been the second victim he hired to investigate Black Sun. And all he has to say is is he doesn't like his methods? What else should he have done? He didn't even fake any evidence. What nonsense is this? Overall, I feel this Black Sun Case was resolved too quickly in contrast to what tension was build beforehand. And I wish all the baddies would have gotten a life sentence in real life aswell. Victor (aka Seungri) got 10 years, I wish. He got only 18 months and didn't even served them fully. Only 2320 Dollar? Well, the journalist is probably the only one who paid, but at this rate I doubt anyone at Rainbow Taxi makes a decent amount of money. I honestly am a little disappointed about the BS case, I thought it would be much more twisted, deep and epic towards the end. It felt like the case ended in a blink of an eye, Windy wasn't even mentioned at the end. It happened so much over almost 4 episodes, so much bad stuff that was more or less just dealth with in a news flash. Shin Jae Ha remains a pawn, disgraced, stepped on and powerless even in this episode. He might get a little revenge in the next two episodes, but I doubt they will be enough to give his role more significance. It's the old story like last season, towards the end they aim at the team to lure out Do Ki, he will beat up half of korea, save them and credits. Go Eun always has to suffer to get to Do Ki. Somehow I feel like Do Ki will die in the last episode, or someone else of the team. I honestly don't know if I am into the idea of a third season, the drama is successful, but the drama lost so much of it's magic over the 2nd season. The cases are fun to watch, the chemistry between Go Eun & Do Ki is fun, but overall it feels so.....repetitive.
  4. Episode 13 Recap I really hope Windy also gets some sort of punishment at the end, she is a rotten fruit herself. There is no way she can talk herself out. She is completely involved in every kind of bad business happening. She refers to girls , who are the same age as her, as dolls and doesn't hesistate to do the cruelest things to them. Do Ki always being in luck that every control room he enters is always empty and no one is watching any security cameras. Do Ki should start robbing banks. Poor girl just having a nice time at a club with her friends, just want to celebrate a little, maybe forget about work for a bit, just to be chosen, drugged, manipulated and sent across the floor and ultimatively almost get raped by some rotten idol celebrity. It makes me so sick. At least Windy was right about calling him a leprechaun. She is not really better though, she looks down on others aswell. It does feel like Windy looks out for Do Ki though, she seemed eager to make sure Do Ki doesn't get involved into this more than necessary. Okay, they address the Kakao Chat history aswell, which showcased that many idols and celebrities were involved in this. The kick that sent Victor flying into the table without saying a single word was so, so satisfying. I would have loved it, if they played Go Eun's song in the club. Shin Jae Ha is really a mystery, his role seems so insignificant for the drama and although he does a good acting job, I still don't buy him being the bad guy. He just doesn't have the vibe and the necessary skills to be that badass. He did a decent job though with the drugs being captured intentionally to promote his guy in the police station. He just doesn't feel......evil. He lreally ooks like a cartoon villain. Go Eun waiting at Do Ki's bed, totally concerned and exhausted When will we finally get our love story about them. Just a small kiss, I won't ask for more. The smirk at the end was nice, preview looks promising. Maybe we get a decent Showdown in the last three episodes where Shin Jae Ha can prove himself as decent villain.
  5. A mix of both actually. Some things I reread and some I just remembered.
  6. They were actually quite precise about the BS case itself. Do Ki getting beaten up by the stuff, getting arrested by the police and being framed as the culprit is actually what really happened back then. It happened to a clubgoer, who was booked with 7 charges, including obstruction of the performance of official duties, it was the first report about BS and started the whole thing in January 2019, when he revealed it on a website. He described also how woman get drugged there by the staff, which we will most likely see happening next episode in detail. But videos were shown how he, Kim Sang-kyo, was assaulted inside the club and how a drugged girl was carried around the hallway and put inside the car, like in the drama. It also lead to investigation of the corrupt Gangnam Police. Now to think of it, Shin Jae Ha could be Seungri, because he works for the club, knows what's going on and interacts with Madam Jang. Victor could actually be Jung Joon-young, who was a customer (VIP), not owner or anything, at the club and raped multiple girls and recorded it. He was an Idol aswell. He confessed to eleven cases (but we all know it was probably much more) and was sentenced to 6 years in prison. Which was later reduced to 5 years, because he "expressed regret". REGRET? Even 6 years is a joke to what he did to all these girls, he destroyed lifes. God it makes me so mad just writing it. He sentence was the biggest joke I ever heard and a slap across the face for every victim. He is already free again by now. Well, I don't know if it were Agent's like Wendy, but it was revealed that stuff indeed was "offering" available women for sex in text messages, after drugging them and making them ready to be raped. That's basically how all the video clips were created and sent in different Kakao Talk chatrooms, without any girl knowing of course. Madam Jang is a Taiwanese investor and shareholder called Madam Lim, which held 20% of Burning Sun. Seemingly she was the girl Seungri mentioned in his text messages of 2015, who should "get everything she wants" and was an investor from Taiwan. I believe the drama adapts her case, because it was one of the biggest.
  7. Episode 12 Recap These Agents, Windy, Eona and who else works there, they are so ruined and bad aswell. Beautiful on the outside, but rotten in the inside. I don't know if I liked Windy beating up the guard, Eona lied to frame Do Ki, they all are just gold diggers who do anything to earn money and climb the ranks. BS is such a rotten place already. So I guess Victor is supposed to be Seungri, especially after him announcing parties on local islands with "not so shy models"? So Shin Jae Ha is a mere thug now who beats up people for entertainment to please the rich lady? Is this his development? I can't take his role serious. Not much progress today, but it seems at least Do Ki will beat up Victor next episode.
  8. I would go even worse, he was supposed to be the main antagonist and the majority of the story being around him, sneaking around, causing trouble from within and destroying Rainbow Taxi, but his whole role so far seems so insignificant. Compared to Ji Yeon, or even some lesser villains that just played the bad guys for two episodes, they had much more impact and were way more memorable than him. A return of Madam Lim would be much more interesting than his arc so far. The BS scandal is not about him, he will play a part in it, but it doesn't feel like he is mandatory for it. The whole drama so far would have worked perfectly fine without him.
  9. I just wonder how deep they get into the scandal or if they just merely scratch the surface, including video recording chatrooms, foreign sexual favors and all that kinda stuff. I imagine Go Eun with the trauma of her sisters case, which is similiar, will go completely bonkers. But I also feel with the BS case currently going on, Shin Jae Ha is put to the sideline again, somehow his villain arc never takes off. He always feels like someone who plays a bad guy and not someone being the baddie. Sigh, honestly, I am at a point where I just accept all the plotholes. Did no one at the police station notice they deal with a dead person in front of them? No one at the club notices Doki sneaking around. Yeah, he will be charged for molesting someone, I guess they made the girl who was with him all the time fake a statement that he was molesting her. He tried to report the club to the police and NOW get somehow hired to the club? And no one of the guards notice that they were just at his funeral?
  10. Episode 11 Recap Chier Mourner: Ahn Go Eun My cutie cries so much and looks so shattered and broken. Okay she faked it at the funeral, but how she cried and ran towards the burning car, when she actually thought Do Ki was dead. How they all sat down for the bishop. I felt like we are back to that cult. But oh boy, it seems we have arrived at the Burning Sun scandal, that will be painful to watch. Go Eun totally fell in love again after seeing him in a suit Her face was priceless. Jealous Go Eun is so cute So far it was easy to watch, but I guess based on the preview next episodes will be quite hard to bear. Somehow clubs always make me uncomfortable, especially in korea. Clubs all seem so shady and superficial.
  11. She was sent to jail, like @abs-oluteMsaid, BUT in the last episode we had a short appearance of Baek Mi (Cha Ji Yeon)'s sister Baek Kyung-Mi (played by Ryoo Hyoun-Kyoung) who said that she loves her sister dearly, but runs business different than her sister. I highly doubt she will play a role this season, but she is rich, has a lot of influence, owns multiple buildings (who were also used for prostitution and other shady stuff), she would definitely be able to get her sister out of prison and plot revenge. But since her enemy was more Kang Ha-Na, since she totally busted her case and framed all on her, I don't think they will appear anytime soon. I agree But to be fair, Cha Ji Yeon's character had a lot more screentime and had much more time to develope her character. She was introduced quite early, she went from business partner to antagonist. Although we always knew she was shady and cruel, she always seemed charming at the same time. Shin Jae Ha basically didn't appear a lot in the first half of the drama and if he appears, it's always before or after a case. By episode 10 Baek Mi's character was already fully developed and she played a much bigger role. I agree that he is acting well, but he doesn't feel like the big threat and a baddie, he feels more like a spoiled chaebol kid with too much money and time. Well, to some extend we also knew that in season 1. We kinda knew that there will be a happy end. But I agree that season 1 was a lot darker and much more cruel. In S1 Do-Ki had much more closer fights, got beaten up sometimes too and the antagonists also felt much more hateable. Just remember the U-Data or Marie case. Cartoonish fits quite well, it's much funnier and every case is about doing something silly or Do Ki ending up in some sort of disguise.
  12. @mademoiselleI also wondered if that means SJH is playing an adaptation of Seungri then. Sadly only his counterpart will get the beating. The case and punishment back then was just a joke. He got away so easily for all the cruel things he did and how many lifes of girls he destroyed for life. 4 episodes left? Don't we have 6 episodes left? As far as I remember the drama contained 16 episodes and we have watched ep 10 yesterday. Or am I wrong? Girl crush? You mean besides Go Eun? You mean the beautiful Cha Ji-Yeon who played the evil business partner? Maybe, would be pleasent to see. Wouldn't mind if she also sang an OST again. I am all in for S3, just to have a romance already.
  13. Episode 10 Recap So that's how he ended up in the OR. Okay, I can live with that. But I'm surprised none of the nurses noticed that the new traffic accident patient looks very similiar to the neuro doctor they met just a day ago. Okay later she kinda remembers him and Do Ki gives the same answers. But a nurse with such short memory should not work in a medical environment. So the case until Ahn Young was taken away by the police and everything was revealed was kinda good, I think it would have been a decend ending, but everything beyond that was so very, very weird. Do Ki slamming her on the table and giving her anesthesia? Fixing her on the table and telling her all of her bad deeds? For a second I thought I was watching an episode of 'Dexter'. I was happy Su Ryeon woke up in the end though. Oh boy the end and preview was so much.
  14. Oh boy, these will be some very, very hard to watch episodes then. Not looking forward to it, the scandal was so cruel and malice. It's really hard for me to watch violence against girls and the case will involve a lot of violence and rape I assume. I think he did not, based on what I understand.
  15. Episode 9 Recap I don't trust this lawyer. He probably was sent in by Shin Jae Ha. I mean he said he needs them to come up to the surface themselves. Maybe a fake lawyer is his bait. His advice wasn't as impressive aswell. I think he is just fake. Go Eun can be so happy that everyone is always leaving the surveillance room without any guards. There is absolutely no way they would just perform surgery without any medical causes on a perfectly healthy person. It's not THAT easy to just go into an OR, even as a patient. Overall very interesting case this week though
  16. @mademoiselle Yesss, saw these pictures right after I woke up on her Instagram today. So beautiful. And in the singles magazine Ahh. a boy can dream.
  17. Episode 7 Recap Well I guess Team Rainbow Taxi CAN in fact control ravens and make them appear. I have to admit though, the girl whos with the father is kinda pretty Too bad she seems to have a bad character and keep company with the wrong kind of people. These punks threatened the cute client and made her cry? They deserve hell. So glad Go Eun kicked their a*s and "forgot" to return the baton. Quoting the law and being all police cop is kinda sexy Do Ki should have seen it. Would have been so funny if Do Ki put his number in Go Eun's hand. Would have fulfilled all her wishes. So....as much fun as Monk Do Ki and his performance as "Mom" is, I have to say this approach and way to solve the case is so far fetched, I almost feel like I am looking a sketch or science fiction drama. No sane people would believe any of this and so many things are just so unrealistic. Last season each case and plot felt much more realistic and believable. Sure Do Ki was invincible and was beaten to a pup more than once, just to then stand up, beat everyone up, escape and drive home as if nothing happened. But overall it felt just much more plausible. Especially this case it just felt like they go higher, better, faster. Again, this episode is so much fun, it's also so funny to see how our fake father does the same things he always asked his followers to do, but this episode feels so weird somehow. It feels like a Taxi Driver parody. The ending was really satisfying though, enjoyed it a lot when both sister were walking along the beach. It must have been so sad, but also so joyful for Go Eun to see both sisters rejoin. She will never rejoin with he sister and was denied a moment like this, but I am sure she is so happy to give this moment to someone else. I'm surprised OJM's girl is still following him, even inside the container, especially after all he did. Even to her. At least she is loyal it seems, just has very bad taste in men. She seemed to be sane, just greedy and with coinscience. I would have totally thought she would have left him after seeing what he has become. She will be the first thing he will get rid off if necessary. At least it seems Do Ki is not fooled by Shin Jae Ha, that is somewhat of a relief. He is very careful and hopefully he heard what SJH said. Next case seems to be interesting and more "normal" again. I look forward to it. Overall I feel like the drama is heading into a strange direction this season. Maybe it was the success of last seasons episode with Do Ki being this silly chinese rich boy. I feel like this season is a hunt to recreate this moment. Although the cases are heavy and cruel again, it feels the handling of the case is always Do Ki just turning into a funny character and doing silly or heavily overacting stuff. Sometimes I feel like I laugh too much during the cases.
  18. Episode 7 Recap So Kang is dead and SJH seems to be a cold-hearted killer who killed his partner off and stepped on him. Oh boy, that will be one intense case. Seriously how did they manage to put the stickers down on a police car? If these cars will ever go through inspection, they will get a different kind of call. Ahh, the current case remembers me a lot about the drama "Save Me" a few years ago. I get the same uncomfortable feeling. Humming Go Eun is so cute Totally want that Taxi Driver Blu Ray Cover. Cult Leader Do Ki will be so much fun aswell. Do Ki who defeats death About the preview
  19. What? They hit innocent children on the head, abused them, lied to them, forced them into a cage and put them into a suitcase. Maybe not Trash press, okay, but grabbing a leg with the crane thingy and let him hang for a few days. Exactly, she wants to quickly turn a fake marriage into a real dating-real marriage. You mean both seasons combined? Go Eun's sister's case last season almost broke me, with all the things happening back then, Go Eun locking herself up, poor girls forced into rape, and then she even got abducted with another girl and was almost forced to do a follow-up video. It was so horrible, I was so happy when Do Ki saved her and beat the crap out of the baddies. Marie's case was also very, very brutal. But you know how I work, these kind of cases always get me very hard. I will still never forget the scene from the drama Signal.
  20. Last season they at least locked them away or put them in an unavoidable spot. Like putting them in barrels and let them freeze. I was really surprised when Do Ki just walked away and.....that's it. I thought he would grab him and put him into a trash press or something, but dropping some trash on him and that's it was a bit......unsatisfying. Especially since it totally goes against the teams usual route to deal with any loose ends. I also didn't feel like Mr.Kang was broken or lost all of his wealth. Yeah, the new rich chaebol villain makes me a little nervous. Nooo, I still have hope! The way she wanted to help him when DK was trapped in the fire, which by the way, was a little weird, because why he was able to just jump through the window and the crossbar with the kid as his shield? Anyway , the way Kang figured out instantly that Go Eun really seems to be in love, how she fell into pure joy when she realized he is fine. I still have hope! All it needs is a little spark. Maybe Go Eun must be in danger or, hear me out, new villain guy threatens or abducts Go Eun and Do Ki goes .
  21. Episode 6 Recap I can't think of any other drama-theme song that dragged me back into the right mood than this one. The moment the drama starts and the theme is playing, I am ready for punching. Mr.Kang knows more about the feelings of Go Eun than Do Ki. She seemed a little surprised. Some scenes are really sad and hard to watch. I don't think any amount of punching would be sufficent enough to make up for what they did to the kids. This case is as hard to watch as the Marie case last season. Holy hell is this dark and cruel. God that 180° turn to the save the pregnant woman. But Do Ki's face when he dragged the guy out and throw him onto the front screen, he really was mad. Go Eun almost crying and totally worrying about Do Ki. We really need a little romance here. Do Ki after realizing the kids have been constantly hit on the head. Oh boy, punching of a lifetime. Mh, honestly.... I thought they would do worse things to Mr.Kang. I felt like he get away pretty easy compared to other baddies in the past. Preview looks promising and concerning at the same time. Guess we have another big villain.
  22. Finally Saturday. Time for episode 6. Sad there will be only one episode this week aswell, but well, at least we get one. Yaaaay. Thank youuuuu.
  23. Set my alarm clock to the Taxi Driver theme now, also plan to play it as first song when I leave the house. My days are going to start epic from today. No, I don't think he is linked to the sniper aswell. Undercover copis a great idea, maybe he is throwing small bits talking about his bad past to lure them in and get him into the inner circle. Undercover Cop sounds really plausible. Yaaaaay! Punchiiiiing Oh I will listen to it, sounds nice. Will also be the first time I hear your voice. I hope he is not a bad person, because if he is, a lot of the second half of the drama will be spent less on cases and more about deceiving, hiding and similiar stuff. And I honestly don't want to watch the last episode worrying about if everyone is going to jail or not. Yaaaaaaaaay! Go Eun Baaaadge. Thank you @Tofu Punching & Go Eun Badges. That is all I need to be a happy panda. I guess with one episode this week and next week I have enough time to spare to watch the drama you recommended.
  24. Baseball Match? The real homerun would have been if they would have aired three episodes next week. One week to wait.
  25. It seems only one episode this and next week? Or did I get something wrong? MDL says so at least. Ahhh, one week until the punching begins. I love how Je Hoon embraces the farmer countryside boy He has so much fun with the accent. Ye Jin gets more and more beautiful every time I see the scene. She looks even prettier in the Behind the Scene. Her smile Having fun is so attractive. I'm also impressed that she recorded the song herself in a studio, she may not have the strongest voice, but her soft voice sounded really nice.
