Absolutely deserved. Her performance was absolutely stunning. Haven't seen many villains who played their role so perfectly. And she is total ahjumma eye candy too. Well deserved. Are you serious? The drama is just halfway through and she barely has any screentimes, apart from having a rather weak role. Her role doesn't add anything. She does display thte lonely, stunningly beautiful iconic idol quite well, but nothing award worthy. But I guess according to the rookie list, a lot of people got them. I do know the female actress. But I can't remember her name or her role.

I'm really a bit disappointing NJ is rarely seen in these BTS videos. Sigh :( But I love these videos aswell. Very funny and interesting.

I'VE DONE IT! Gosh, one hour later and I solved the riddle. I felt like Tom Cruise in Minority Report. Oh wow. Thank you. Now I just need a print of it for my own collection. Same. I hope Ji gets his loveline with cutter girl. Like for real, they just dance around each other since the first time they met each other again, both are clearly unhappy and want the other back in their lifes. But instead of just sitting down and talk about everything, they keep dancing around each other. This could have been dealt with in seconds. NJ role is totally unclear again, since from the very first second YS was in Choi Ung's mind. Her apperance was nice two episodes again, but one episode later and we already don't know again where to put her.

I haven't heard about The Uncanny Counter before. So no, I did not. Aish....I was in a bit of a slumber this year. I also tend to just watch one drama at a time.

This is madness. I went through all the threads and always one is missing. Pretty much no one watched Lost except me, @bairama, @SilverMoonTeaand @abs-oluteM. But SilverMoonTea didn't watch Happiness with us? @ktcjdrama, @Chocolate and @JenLalso have two dramas with me in common, but nobody watched Lost So i have four options now, find someone else who has an ahjumma with me in common, force myself through 16 episodes of 18 again, beg @SnowBlobthat an ongoing drama which is halfway through also counts or just give up on the point.

Okay, new days. New clues. First of all @mademoiselleDid we watch three dramas together? I think we did. Lost, Happiness, OBS, Taxi Driver? I have to make room. Clue #11: Our left-handed savior @MayanEcho Clue #12: ~ TBA Clue #13: 15y older than me? Ahjumma? Lee Bo Young is just 8years older. And nobody here as a favorite ahjumma anyway. Or waiit....WAIT @abs-oluteM Remember Kim Mi-Kyung aka hacker Ahjumma from Healer? She is 58 and we loved the character. Do Ji-Won could also count, she is my ahjumma crush, but I think you never was very fond of her. Episode 8 I can totally relate to Choi Ung about his view on YS. How could he enjoy his trip? And the fact she seemed very loose on things like breaking up. "If we break up next time"...it sounds like every two weeks she breaks up, just to get back together again a days after. It's so hard to deal with girls who can't be read easily. But then she dropped the bomb on him et at the end. So she was saying the magical three words first. I wouldn't have imagined. Gosh this makes the break up only so much harder for him. How can he forget? How can he not be still in love for her? And more importantly, how can she still lock up her heart so drastically? But how they even deny us a flashback kiss. Did I just imagine things, or when Yeon Su overheard the answer of Choi Ung about the most memorable trip, did she began to cry when she turned away her face? It looks like she began to cry when her face turned away from the camera. I really like how Choi changed in his ways of dealing with Yeon Su. Repeating her words she said back then, addressing everything that affects him very upfront towards her, he doesn't hide, the throws everything he has at her to get some sort of reaction. I like his behavior. He tries to lure her out of her shell. Because now, SHE is the one running away from him. He was able to switch positions. She is avoiding him, he is at the point, that he's bothered so much, that he just tells what on his mind, to get anything. Ji Ungs hearts fluttered when he saw Yeon Su. But it really seems like Cutter girl has a soft spot for him. Ahh, I can't decide what I want to ship But I think cutter girl, she's fun, nice and when talking to Choi Ung, she felt a bit sassy too. I think she and Ji Ung would be a good fit. Sigh, NJ still thinks too much of herself. She also seem to exaggerate. She didn't confess anything and one missed call doesn't mean anything. I pretty much miss ALL of my calls. On purpose. If you call me and I didn't pick up, you are one of many. I ALWAYS call back though. So is everyone out-jealousing each other? It feels like everyone was jealous at somebody. Ever YS's best friend Sol-Yi felt jealous towards Eun-Ho. Is this how everyone relationship will develope? Choi was jealous because YS spent time with YS. YS is jealous because of NJ. NJ is jealous at everyone who spents time with Choi. Ji is jealous at Choi because he likes YS and cutter girl is jealous because she continuesly sees Ji chasing after YS. Still interesting how fast YS's happiness and smile faded after seeing NJ. Gosh, NJ is so pretty on the phone aswell I'm melting everytime I see her Choi really hit a spot, since his words still continue to rob YS's sleep. If both would have been honest with their emotions after meeting each other again, this drama would have been over after episode 2. We pretty much just watch them dance around each other for the obvious. The art of the house with the trees is really, really beautiful. Whoever has drawn this, is really talented. Would love to have something like this hanging on my wall. Even when Choi is asleep he "attacks" by grabbing YS hand, but she flees again. WHAAAAT? This is probably the first time I really didn't expect this to happen. V's 'Christmas Tree' is really an OST masterpiece. Perfect music for all the scenes at the end. Preview looks promising. It seems like by the end of next episode, they will be back together. This episode pretty much breaks everything down NJ tried to establish last episode. Her role is back to useles..

I can't speak for all men, but yes it happens quite often. Especially if we truly love the girl and she breaks up, we are shattered and break down completely. I could totally relate to him how he handled the break-up. He hit rock-bottom emotionally. This is a fate a lot of guys go through after the girl we love with all our heart breaks up. We are not able to understand why and question the world how this happened. I personally went through this aswell. And the way YS dealt with it was how I witnessed it too. Girls have such a cold way of dealing with break-ups. Oh hell no. I honestly don't think anything will shatter the bond between Ung and YS, but you know, there is a slight chance the drama will do something totally different. Like you said, the drama has such a natural, realistic vibe, that I buy everything as long as they keep this path. Depends on many things, could be a day...but can also be lifetime-changes. It depends how big the change is. Some of my ex-gf's also forced me to do stuff that I still do until this day. I would have never done it before, but sometimes we need a little hand by someone we love. It's totally new ground for him.

First, yes, it was amazing to see more of her, what kind of celebrity she is and what hardships she has to go through. It gave her character much more depth. Is she not? Come on, NJ is a smart cookie, she knows Choi Ung currently has no interest in her in a lovey dovey way, so if she would go 'All in' immediately, he would be scared away. He gave her enough signs to realize that he is completely in the dark. Who says "I love you" in the first real conversation. She made a big step today, he is aware of her know and knows why she values him. He also didn't seem to dislike the thought of having NJ as friend. In the preview, she is at his parents house, she will make her move. And if YS continues to stay like she was in the past and hides her feelings for him, NJ may have a shot. Oh I am Team NJ. YS can have Ji Ung if she's faster than cutter girl. We guys are so easy to read. Once we see a girl we like, we do everything to impress her, even if it means changing our ways. Because the last time he left her, he went totally out of his way and instead of running away and ignoring everything, he chose direct confrontation. For probably the first time in their relationship, he chose attack instead of running away. It completely caught YS off guard. Remember although YS wanted to fix this, she only saw him with NJ. They haven't talked since then. Clearly he feels scared, because he doesn't know how she will react, this never happened before for him. Hahaha really? I can totally see it. That's why I didn't say anything when @mademoisellesaid we should summon her. This and fear she actually might recommend 18 again (or how the name was). I figured that's probably not her drama. I have never seen her watching Slice of Life dramas before. That's why we never meet in these threads.

Finally a new episode Episode 7 The elementary teacher is so cute No Dhakra, noooo, we focus on NJ in this drama. No elememtary teacher. Bad, bad Dhakra Choi Ung is half a ninja the way he sneaked out of his own home. This episode began really funny and with a lot of humor. Just the way how he stopped eating his snack was hilarious. I really hope Ji Ung and cutter girl have a small plot too, they really fit. So NJ does volunteer work with haters who wrote bad comments about her, and all they do while working is to continue bad-mouthing about her. NJ really lives a tough life at times. I felt so bad for her after she heard everything. It's so malicious and mean. Poor NJ, it's lonely being on top. I understand why she likes the company of Choi Ung. Ung's mom was so happy to see YS. It was like the sun was rising for borh his parents when YS showed up. Quite surprising though that he takes Yeon Su to his parents place, this could give away the wrong idea. Or maybe the right idea if he is trying to get back together with her. But if they wanted to have a place to talk quitely and sort things out, this is probably the worst place imaginable. Yeon Su really is bad at playing her hand. Now it looks like for Choi Ung that she moved on and doesn't have any feelings left. Maybe NJ will have a shot of YS continues to neglect her feelings. MAYBE IF I..... But not with him, he is so brave all of the sudden. Throwing his thoughts and feelings right in her face. I like it, he doesn't play around anymore. He is straight and honest. "I'm really sick of this" was like a perfectly aimed arrow. It totally hit the right spot. @mademoiselleT-O-T-A-L-L-Y Team NJ THAT was sassy. I loved the way she dealt with the people who continued to be mean to her. She didn't back down and confronted them. NJ is actually a very nice person. She was so perfectly right about the guy who asked for forgiveness and told him she will just sue him once. And that jerk harrassed her sexually? FEEL MY WRATH! How dare you! Seeing her turn from sad into total happiness was cute. Especially because he acted a little clumsy and dorky right from the start. She loves it. I like todays episode. I also loved the way she handles those little kids. So nice, but confident. I think it impressed Choi Ung a bit aswell. And did I mention this already? But she is SO PRETTY. I would have totally dropped my ice aswell after her saying something like this to me. @abs-oluteMMaybe we can ship Ji Ung with YS and Choi Ung with NJ. The talk between JU and YS was kinda cute and her grandma also reacted quite nice to him. The forced trip is so funny, but the scenery is really looking like it could be a horror movie. Great episode. Promising preview. So NJ is at his parents house? I wonder why. But overall I think this episode did a lot for NJ's character, not only did she get a lot more backstory, but we were able to see her personality a little bit more and she seemed to grow closer to CU. She also clarified her intentions towards him, without crossing any boundaries. Maybe there will be a small window for them? I'm totally jumping on her train now. NJ CHUU CHUUU

Yes, poor second leads. I think it played a role indirectly, I think it played a role in the way that she realized what different kind of lives they have. Yeon Su has to work for everything, she needs to work hard to get even the slightest chances or oppoturnities. She lives a poor life, and to get away from this life, she has to work as hard as she can and can't relax. So when she saw that Choi Ung just passes an excellent opportunity to move on in life, she realized that they are completely different. He can just pass, because he doesn't need to worry. For him, it's no big deal to pass. So in a way, she did not break up with him because he declined and did not to it, but because she realized that they are completely different people. It was her pride, like she mentioned.

Time between episodes always feel like an eternity Glad the wait will finally be over tomorrow. I just watch the scene where YS sees him draw for the first time over and over again. I hope we see him draw again later in the show again. And of course I listen to the OST pretty much all day. Based on the stills, they seem to make so many steps already, that NJ's disruption may be completely ineffective. She really needs to get a purpose. NJ could have been the perfect counterpart to YS. Rich, supportive, she could have opened a totally different world to Choi Ung, a world where he can openly be this long sleeping carefree guy. Pretty much everything that YS is not, including famous. And over time he would slowly realize that's not what he wants. But as of now, CU is still so obsessed with YS, his love towards her is clear as day. What in the world could NJ do to change this. Everything will just bounce off without effect. Sigh.......she's so pretty though The question I ask myself is, did she go there with the intention of meeting him or did she just wanted to visit the restaurant/parents and he happened to be there. Because normally she would just go to his home to see him.
