  1. I love how you stated this in such a neutral manner. Are you a psychopath @Darkarcana? Aahhhhh. Can't wait. It's gonna be like this, this time every week, huh?
  2. If LSG changes from his clear case to any Casetify case, I'mma celebrate. The phone LSG is holding is his character's phone right?
  3. @WaterCat Aahhh. Those songpyeon look good. Dunno what they taste like but I can sort of imagine. Good thing we have black rice hotteok at home... Saved me from craving rice cake! I know ep 11 is still pretty far in the rewatch. But this post made me rewatch the songpyeon making part. It's funny how LSG seems to be the one most enthusiastic with the songpyeon making. I'm also curious why JSM wasn't present when they were making the songpyeon, especially when she was the one that suggested it in the first place. There are beliefs associated with making and eating songpyeon. It was briefly mentioned in the show "if you make pretty songpyeon, you'll have pretty daughters" but there are different takes from different sources. Here's one: Proverbs suggest that a maiden who is good at shaping songpyeon will find a good husband, while a pregnant woman who has the same talent will give birth to a beautiful daughter. As a result, women and girls in traditional Korea spent long evenings before Chuseok doing their best to make nicely-shaped songpyeon. Once the songpyeon were steamed and served, pregnant women would taste them in order to predict whether the child they were carrying was going to be a boy or a girl. If a woman happened to pick an undercooked cake, it meant that she would have a girl. Accordingly, selecting a well-cooked cake indicated that the baby would be a boy I guess traditionally songpyeons were mostly made by women, but now the belief is sort of translated to be gender neutral. LSG really did well with the songpyeons he made. The ones in his IG post were most likely the ones that he made. I wonder why the nice looking batch was on the table first, directly in front of JSM. Did he want JSM to pick some to see if she'll get an under-cooked or well-cooked one? 😉 He then put down the batch made by kids in front of the kids, and took out the ones he made. For the rest of the night, it seems like they only ate the batch made by the kids. Wonder where the pretty batch went... Mr. Lee Seung Gi, you so sly. Really wish JSM was there when they were making it though. If it would have been indeed her first time making some, then LSG would have taught her as well, like he did with PNR. I'll bet there would have been some teasing going around whether she made good or bad ones. LSG be like "no need for her to make songpyeon, I'm right here"
  4. Just to join the delusion. Are the mint green blotches on her eyes, hands and lips? and her caption is "just yeong-wonhi" which is the name of her character in Monthly House, but also means "just forever".
  5. @Darkarcana @Seung-Min I thought the voting they did wasn't a done deal yet, since the lady that supports the bill was still trying to persuade the chairman to change his mind. Glad to have you here @Seung-Min! Oohh. JBR with a car is a game changer. Does it go... Bareum bareum? (Please don't ban me)
  6. Woohoo! Exciting! Curious though, where do you guys watch? I think you @Darkarcana also mentioned you watch without subs first? @Mouse Right now, my main theory is based on my understanding of the facts and clues presented so far (JBR =/= HH's son) but it isn't necessarily the only one I want to see happen. It'll also be interesting to see GMC grow close with JBR, then he learns that JBR is in fact HH's son. My problem with this is that, I feel like that story has been told somewhere already, so they might go for something else. I do have some general things on my mind: I'm watching on Viki, and basing my questions on their subs. It was mentioned in episode 1 that HH was sentenced to death and his execution was the final decision of the court. That was back in 1995, and he's still just chilling there 25 years after? Funny though, I did a quick research while writing this and average death-row inmates do spend 20+ years between sentence and execution. I am shocked. The discussion for the bill that concerns the psychopath gene test was also back in 1995. I wonder what ever happened to it. If passed, surely the effects could be felt already in the present time.
  7. I'm sort of confused with this cause they sort of contradict each other. (Though my main theory right now is JH = YH = HH's son, and yours is YH = HH's son, JBR = JH =/= HH's son) I still believe the timing is correct if HH's wife is JH's mom. Based on the timeline given above (which I believe are dates already stated in the actual show) Go Moo-chi is around 5 years old during the Snowman incident (year 1995), so he is 5 years older than the kids of the (3) pregnant women. So if the incident with Jae-hoon happened year 2005, Go Moo-chi will be around 15, which I think is about right when he visited HH's wife. This angle stands if Jae-hoon (2005) is HH's child (1995), the kid in yellow (2000) Based on the scene where JH was being strangled by his mom, the mom looks closer to HH's wife (even though the shots of her were blurred and had bad angles), her voice is also similar. I don't think that the good wife will be able to strangle his son like that, even if he knew he had the psychopath gene, but HH's wife could, especially since she knows it is the psychopath gene from HH himself. Also, I don't even think the good wife will choose to remarry. Note also that JH's dad mentioned JH's mom was busy 'with the store', which sort of says she owns the store, and later it is shown she has her own flower shop. Also note that JH's teacher said to the dad that JH wants to be a doctor. Not really my comment to #3, but something to keep in mind when thinking who YH is. True, but it's still pretty early on. We don't know yet what the main conflict the show will try to tackle. After watching the first episode, I thought it anti-climatic that the HH was revealed already. And after watching the second episode, I was pretty much convinced that the show is saying "YH is the killer and HH's son, but that's not the story we want to tell, the main conflict is yet to come." ------ Of course, none of my answers above aren't 100% yet and could pretty much be shot down in the next 2 episodes, but could also hold true. I hope my response helps! They could either confuse you more or maybe even solidify your theory.
  8. Aahh.... Yoo-jin's parent's photos look so pro. She's so pretty! She knows how to pose in front of the camera and has nice facial expressions. She'll do great if she tries being a child actress. I know the perfect role for her already! I agree. There are a number of things he did that I can think of that irked me a bit, but they aren't too bad. He's still young and playful, and his actions are maybe influenced by how he jokes around with his buddies or people he hangs out with. But at least he does those things to the older kids, maybe thinking they're already mature enough for it. I'd probably do the same subconsciously if I was there. All of them teased Yi-han with the girls, but LSG was the one that almost goes overboard I think. He also did bribe the kids in multiple occasions. (I feel like there's social stigma for this kind of act, but I think a lot of parents still do it in one form or another, they just don't realize it) Again, at least he did it with Yi-han and Jeong-Heon, so I think he's very aware that those acts might be absorbed differently by the younger kids, especially the girls. I remember LSG doing the bribe thing in front of LSJ and PNR, but not JSM. Maybe he knows that JSM will scold him if she catches him doing that. "son, don't tell mommy I gave you money, okay?"
  9. That's where JBR's twin brother comes in... 😆
  10. @Mouse Potential gain is what he can get from whoever is in the black car. But this potential test swap opens a lot of doors. Like JH is actually normal but just ended that way cause his mom told her he's a psycho? 😆 And we'll have a VIP child that think he's normal but has psycho genes. And we have JBR... who's really just plain, normal JBR (the real twist that no one suspects) 😂 In any case, this might be a late second act or third act reveal if ever. 😅
  11. This is the first thing that I was reminded of when I browsed #mousetheory. A bunch of makjang scenarios immediately came to my mind. (though anything is still possible!)
  12. Just for reference, iPhone 12 mini became available in SK, Nov 20 (According to Wiki). Sometimes it does take time for stocks to meet the demand, and also depending on their phone service contract. But the timing is suspiciously close. SM mentioned in her unboxing that it is the first time again that she paid for a phone herself. So this means this new phone is more personal, and her choice to buy it at the specific time. 🤔 It's not a delusion until proven false!
  13. Just a thought. Maybe SG and SM did some study time together to get the license. Who knows, right? What's the streak on LSG with weddings? Ep 158 - entire episode on wedding life Ep 159 - asking Eugene "do you still feel like newlyweds? Ep 160 - him shouting 'MARRIAGE!' in the game Ep 161 - Sung Rok teasing him if he can marry him Ep 162 - attending an actual marriage PD Kim, will you be the one filming SGSM marriage? Thank you in advance.
  14. I (and some others) believe that the girl grew up to be Hong-Joo, the reporter that goes around with Go Moo-Chi (detective). I'm also curious about that incident though. My belief is that she was genuinely asking for help, and her dad was really in the car crash. I think they just wanted the scene to intentionally look a bit misleading, and maybe due to (sorry) poor acting, that it looks like she was luring the victim. I think that will only work if the attacker was anyone else, but on Ep 2, it was mentioned that the attacker was the head-hunter, and I don't see him intentionally instructing a girl to lure his victims for him. Have to wait for ep 3. 😣
  15. I feel like just wanting to pratice your suturing skills with no real concern what happened to and what will happen to the person, is a good way to show that he is indeed a psycho. Thanks btw to your hashtag recommendations. I'm sort of running through them now, and a lot more theories are formulating in my head. I guess this will be a pattern every week during the weekends. Can't wait for 99% of the theories and discussions to be shot down by the show writers in the first 5 mins of the next episode. 🤣and the top 1% of the 1% genius theories is a psychopath. wait wat? 😅
  16. True. Hmmm but also, what if he literally just wants to practice like he said? 😆 He was adamant about getting his thread, so why miss the opportunity to practice on an actual person?
  17. Here's the continuation (or maybe a branch of) my long-shot theory, since anything is possible at this point, I'll just put it out here. It's kinda comical because of the comparison, but it still does have potential.
  18. This is why I want to clarify the meaning of the percentages so that we understand the rules the show works in, but everytime the Dr. Lee talks about it, it's always just one liners. 😂 My understanding of the test is that, if they detect the psycho gene, they are 99% sure it is the psycho gene but there's a 1% chance that it can be the genius gene and not the psycho gene. What kind or the intensity of being a psycho is a different metric altogether, but it seems Dr. Lee can get data for that too since he keeps saying the "top 1% of psychopaths" Hopefully the show brings this up a bit more, but right now there's a lot of holes. Based on the conversation between Go Mu-Chi and the HH, I think this is another angle the show is going for, especially since he 'acts' or 'tries to act' crazy like with the guy he chased to the rooftop, and he did kill someone before (the murderer of the sisters, as mentioned by HH).
  19. LSG and JSM writes up a marriage contract that lasts until the end of the show, but end up loving each other and gets married for real. Yes! I'm really loving it so far. You can visit the Mouse thread for theories and analyses if you want to try and go more in-depth. Interesting stuff. 😃
  20. I love reading all your posts! So many minute details we're seeing in a new light. It's funny that this rewatch party started the same time as Mouse. My attention has been on the first two episodes of Mouse since they aired, rewatching certain parts and piecing details together, and here I am shifting focus on ep 1 of LF, two shows that are on the complete opposite sides of the spectrum. One thing I can say though, LSG is killer on both shows. The first meeting SM's microphone is probably squeezed between Yeol Moo and her body, that's why she sounded muffled and why her heartbeat was amplified. It's nice though that the prod decided to add in SM's heartbeat, which really makes this scene like the beginning of a love story. I kinda wish though that Modu was less aggressive so that we were able to see LSG's reaction with his attention solely on JSM, but of course, I'm very happy with what we got. JSM has nice eyes, hands and lips, right LSG? 😉 Uri Yeol Moo I love that their hands touch when JSM transferred YM to LSG. YM is so lucky. It's not everyday that you get a professional ballad singer sing a lullaby to you, and also some ASMR sleep hypnotism action. If I were YM's family, I'd ask for an uncut version of this part, and replay it to YM. But maybe its unnecessary since LSG does get to sing to YM everyday now 😎 I wonder though how long LSG held YM while sitting. JSM was already sitting beside him when YM's mom came, so LSG must have insisted that he just hold on to YM even after JSM and NR arrived. The meeting LSG and JSM already look nice together here. They're already laughing together and have those 'looks'. I like the camera angle here cause we see more of how JSM looks at LSG. Just to be different, the interesting thing for me in this meeting is LSJ. He is so cocky and irritating. I disliked him in episode 1. But in retrospect, after watching the show, his MITH guesting, and some of his own shows, he was just truly being himself. He became the OG SeungMin shipper the moment he saw little YM in LSG's arms. I had to stop here. I'll try to watch the rest of the episode before we get to Ep 2. LOL. Imagine if this was like BTIFL? LSG thinking that being married relates to caring for children suddenly asks JSM "if you have time, would you like to marry me?"
  21. After my partial rewatch, yeah, they are the same person. I actually feel like I wasn't attentive enough during my first watch now. 😆 SYH even had a photo of his younger self in yellow when he was in his room looking at his victim chart. (What do you call those things anyway? Map? Diagram?) After JH had the talk with the teacher because of the rabbit incident, JH stopped at the hallway because another kid caught his attention. That kid is most likely JBR. SYH visited HSJ/HH. That's the only possible way I can connect it for now. We don't know the timeline or chronological order of all the shots. The sequence in my theory right now is still kinda off though. I'll double check and expound maybe later. The boxer's sister died at the hands of HH. She's the young woman that died in the snow, when the little girl asked for her help. That little girl is most likely Choi Hong-Ju (the reporter) as mentioned by @mademoiselle and because CHJ said the case of the boxer is special to her, more of a "responsibility" and how she looked at the sister's photo. If JH's mom did tell him that he has psychopathic genes, then it's possible that she directly told him that his dad is the HH. And from what was shown of his past, JH was very cold and has no remorse BUT is very filial based on how he got jealous of the stepdad's care for their pets. So he might be doing his special MO killings (the FU to the cross killings) to get the attention of his dad or maybe he's trying to find out something. Like I said before, the last 2 victims were different from his MO kills, so I suspect that his style and intention changed because this is after he met HH. Assuming that the clues are correct and SYH is JH. We know that JH is able to suppress his emotions as shown in his polygraph test, but he does have a tendency to lose his cool. He gets annoyed real quick, even scratching himself because of his irritation. Also, as SYH, he got annoyed at the crying lady and basically said to her to kill herself. This guy needs to chill.
  22. @Darkarcana who is CG? For some reason, I thought of this from before. Like JBR will be tracing his own steps not knowing it was his all along. But I dismissed it after I read through the earlier posts here. I didn't pay attention too much to the back stories given though, should I reread or just wait to see what happens? Hmm.
