  2. yeah, those are B-boy moves. but what he does along with his 2pm members are more of dancing and then acrobatics. When 2pm was being formed, Jay (Jaebum Park) was already considered a shoo-in for the group. He was the true b-boy. I think the producers got inspired by him and thought that in a sea pretty boy kpop scene, they can stand out by being more than pretty boys. So they challenged and told the boys that they need to successfully do acrobatics, if they wanted to debut. The members took it to heart. So even if their bodies were not really meant for acrobatics (Taec is as so inflexible, and that was even during their active days). Thus they practiced to do all the tumbling, hand stands and head stands and etc so that they will be allowed to debut. and those are usually showcased as one of the "highlights" of their concerts. So its dancing + acrobatic moves. and incorporate the B-boy moves. And in the group, JH is the best acrobat .

  8. me too. I rely on google translate, and read the comments... some of the readers are also the fan of the novel.... and I thought this drama will have painful moments, but will still end quite bittersweet... But I think my expectations are wrong... I think we really are in for much tears... this fan also is like us, curious and and anticipating the ending... but also bracing to a very sad ending... and I think, I will retract from earlier statement, and just copy-paste @stroppyse post:
  9. a bit off topic, but it seems like the novel's webtoon version has made its premier release... I've seen a few screenshot and it looks pretty: to view webtoon check here: https://page.kakao.com/home?seriesId=57936427
  10. 9 Reasons Why We’re All A Little Obsessed With 2PM’s Junho You have probably heard a lot about Junho lately. He is one of the six members of the second-generation K-pop group 2PM, and he is all the rage right now in Korea. With his quirky charm and ability to be talented in basically everything he does, Junho has won the hearts of many over the years and even more so these days. If you’re looking for some reasons to obsess over him or need a bit of a refresher, here are nine reasons why we’re all a tad bit obsessed with Junho. 1. He can dance and looks really good doing it For as long as 2PM fans can remember, Junho was known as being one of the best dancers in the group. Whenever they appeared on variety shows, the MCs would always ask him to do a dance and would sometimes even have him compete against other dancers – he was that good. Junho is not only good at acrobatic dancing, but he can also do the suave type of dancing that makes your heart race. 2. He’s also an actor and very talented at it Actor Junho’s debut role was as “Squirrel” in the film “Cold Eyes.” Immediately after debuting, people were thoroughly impressed with his part in the movie. Although it was a smaller role, he really showcased his versatility in showing various emotions. He continued to broaden his acting skills by taking on various roles in K-dramas that continues to be talked about today. His roles in the dramas “Memory,” “Good Manager,” “Just Between Lovers,” and “Confession” were all very memorable. 13. Team Chichi!!! Adorable Chanuneo Here is a video that features the bromance of this 2... him playing gangster or agent of NIS... But for his next project, I do think he would probably make his solo comeback. he tends to release albums every reay. and since 2020 were all 2pm promotions, most likely next year would be for his solo
  14. Kim Soo Hyun And Cha Seung Won Gear Up For Upcoming Criminal Drama At First Script Reading Sep 30, 2021 | by M. Kang Coupang Play released stills from the first script reading for their first original series “One Ordinary Day.” “One Ordinary Day” is a Korean remake of the BBC show “Criminal Justice.” In the upcoming version, Kim Soo Hyun will star as Kim Hyun Soo, an ordinary college student that is designated as a suspect in a murder case overnight. Cha Seung Won will star as Shin Joong Han, a low-class lawyer with no interest in the truth. The series will be directed by Lee Myung Woo, who previously led projects such as “Punch,” “Whisper,” and “The Fiery Priest.” On September 30, the two actors were joined by Kim Sung Kyu, Lee Seol, and more for the first script reading. Kim Soo Hyun led the team through intense scenes with his fervent glances and passionate tone of voice. His deep emotional connection with his character opened way to Cha Seung Won, grew a beard and tied up hair to match his character. He added to the energy of the room with his compelling acting that worked well with his physical transformations. The other actors followed suit, with Kim Sung Kyu’s charisma coming through with his character Do Ji Tae, one that sits at the top of the food chain within the prison. Lee Seol’s boldness surfaced through her character Seo Soo Jin, a lawyer just starting her career. The production team commented, “The team of director Lee Myung Woo and talented actors Kim Soo Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Kim Sung Kyu, Lee Seol, and more are passionately invested in ‘One Ordinary Day.’ Please look forward to the series, a well-made one that will expand the spectrum of criminal dramas while delivering a special message.” “One Ordinary Day” will premiere in November through Coupang Play. 17. Lee Se Young Gives A Glimpse Of A Court Lady’s Life In Upcoming Historical Drama Starring 2PM’s Junho Sep 29, 2021 | by L. Kim 2PM’s Junho and Lee Se Young’s upcoming MBC drama “The Red Sleeve” has released a new teaser! Based on a popular novel, “The Red Sleeve” is a traditional historical drama that tells the record of an imperial court romance between a court lady who wanted to protect the life she had chosen and an emperor who put the nation first before love. Junho stars as Yi San, the direct descendant and eldest grandson of the king, who will later become King Jeongjo. Lee Se Young stars as Seong Deok Im, a court lady who wants to make her own decisions about life rather than be one of the king’s many women. The vibrant teaser starts off by showing the objects that court ladies use at the palace. Seong Deok Im settles down in front of a court lady’s signature dress with red sleeves and begins to neatly fold it. Her voiceover narrates, “All 700 court ladies living in the palace were the king’s women,” hinting the painful lives of court ladies who can do nothing but serve the king for the rest of their lives. On the other hand, Yisan declares, “The tips of the sleeves dyed with that mark were a very coy red.” His narration alludes to the beauty of court ladies who do not lose their subjectivity even in the face of their destiny. At the same time, it shows that he is fascinated with their beauty. Watch the teaser below! In addition to how women grow, develop and survive such ruthless, almost hunger-games/squid game/battle royale environment. Usually Korean dramas are much milder in their portrayal of that side of history. Anyway I just hope its not gonna be the usual point of 'contention' and 'history distortion from Knetz, the probable omission of Lee San's wife and queen. definitely feel so much melo and tears from this teaser. and like @ktcjdrama I am ready... come on!!! and here is another translation I saw:
  18. 2PM’s Junho Officially Discharged From The Military Mar 21, 2021 | by U. Kim 2PM’s Junho is back! On March 20, Junho was officially discharged from the military. He enlisted May 30, 2019 as a public service worker due to a shoulder injury that he had to undergo surgery for. With Junho’s discharge, all 2PM members who were required to serve in the military have completed their duties. Earlier this year, JYP Entertainment announced that 2PM was planning to make a full-member comeback after Junho’s discharge. In addition to original fans of 2PM, newer fans who were introduced to 2PM through the resurgence of 2PM’s 2015 hit “My House” last year have also been waiting for Junho’s return. Junho held a V LIVE broadcast on March 21 to celebrate his return and answer questions asked by his fans. The other 2PM members also made appearances during the latter half of the broadcast (with the exception of Taecyeon who was unable to attend due to his busy schedule). Welcome back, Junho! 19. Reading much on what little I can find on the translation of this novel, I think this will focus more on the romance. The translation kinda suggest that the writer did some thorough research but I think it focuses most on SDI which I think has yielded some information about how much King Jeongjo truly loved her. There would most likely be overdrawn romanticizing of their story, since the material is based on the novel.... sooo, for knetz to be up in arms, I don't know how that will go. So far the novel seems to be well liked. They even plan to serialize it into a webtoon... but then with Knetz you can never know what will be the trigger. It is weird about Lee San's wife. by the time they meet, she should probably be present. but with character description, they totally dont have anyone for that role... I mean from watching Yisan, she seems to be such a good queen. and as much as I don't like harem stories (it just is cruel and bloody); i think she was one of the better and kinder queen in history of harems... ...or could this probable 'omission' be the trigger for audience...? He looks good as a crown prince. he pulled off the serious, lofty and untouchable air of what Lee San feels like based on what I though he would be, given his history and the political atmosphere at that time. I wished he still had his long hair, but I guess it would not be vibing with 2PM promotions and visuals as mature urban hot men aura... For other news: #TheRedSleeveCuff first teaser tomorrow TODAY (wed- sep 29) at 8:40am KST on V LIVE app "The Beginning Of The Sorrowful Court Romance" https://vlive.tv/video/264300 and that title of the teaser probably answers your comment on:
  20. @stroppyse yes definitely excited for his upcoming drama. still wary of the writer. But the stills and promotions has been leaving me feeling so exhilarated. @ktcjdrama Good Manager was definitely what pushed his popularity in Korea. that is probably why he is more known as an actor for the most parts. But in Japan he is pretty much one of the more popular members. Plus his Solo's are in demand and his concert are usually be sold out and packed. BTW 2PM's japanese comeback is today: Sept 29, 2021. Between the Japanese main song "With Me Again" and Korean main Song "With Me Again". I'd pick their korean one. it feels chill and a throwback to the MY house musicality and the song that brought them reverse popularity. That said, "With Me Again" is kinda not for me. But the teaser parts for Junho with a gun.. well, it makes me wish he does some action packed drama next.... man Junho in their promos this comeback has been lit!!! Anyway here is the MV for With Me Again: \ Junho in Teases:
  21. The Court Ladies (Sung DeokIm's People) Head Court Lady Court Lady Jo Mother-figure for Seng Deok-Im Court Lady Seo Court Lady Park Younghee's Master
  22. Ministers & Court Officials Hong DeokRo Man that follows Lee San Hong Jeongyo Head of the Noron Sect Seo GyeJung Man from Soron Sect
  23. hmmnn... After diving into Junho and 2pm this year. I do realize that he was one of the least known members of the group then. Before I spiraled into this new fangirling I have for Junho, I was probably like you that had no clue that he was part of 2PM. I think, people usually associate 2pm with Nichkhun (who was probably most popular member) then Taecyeon, and probably Jason aka Wooyoung. Even Jay Park is probably more known as the former 2pm member. I don't follow kpop now, but the 2nd generation has some of my biases. So there really is some weirdness that I am like you, in my inability or forgetfulness in thinking he was part of 2PM. In retrospect I think he is can stand as an actor more, because he did get so much more shine outside of 2pm and 2pm fandom, when he started acting. Then as he continually proved his acting caliber one project after another (earning much appreciation and adoration for his acting projects), he solidified his stardom from being an actor and then piggy backing to being in 2pm. But for Junho, he always introduces himself as 2pm's Lee Junho even in his acting projects. So He does want people to know him as part of 2PM and 2pm is part of him. Plus his musicality and idol blood is very much alive, as I have learned so much this year in stalking and following his career all through the years, he is truly active as a singer too. As for Army abs, I am not sure if Red Sleeves Cuff will have some post-army fan-service shower scene, since it is your traditional saguek, but some of his pictorials and 2pm's promotions was had given some glimpse of it.
