Shooting Stars The traitor Wei is smart and persistent and that makes the drama more interesting. The actor is so good in this role.

Surprisingly, there is a calm Douyin drama, I liked the cast, the plot and the ML looked kind of innocent. The sensual car scene was so natural.

and CMD's face when he saw Grandma... She should have told him that much earlier. I think she is afraid of losing him, but still he needs to know the truth. And Big Bro CG is also right about long-distance relationships.

@abs-oluteMI just finished ep 4 I love everything about the drama. Yao is bright and more smiling than CMD ( LX's character in WLIS). The FL is focused on herself but she is kind to others. some of my fav scenes - the ML's blind date in that restaurant, he glanced at Hongdou but she didnt noticed it because she was enjoying the pancake...ep (3) - the late night snacks scene between the girls ep 4 - the first encounter between the ML and the FL and their calm talks about the phone. I understand why XiaXia wants to go to Shanghai but the Master is so lonely in that woodcarving workshop.

I guess Grandma sent the emoji..... he looked pretty cool in the first scene....

The 7-second memory...that was so lovely and funny... the morning scene was my fav scene. Now it is ZJ's turn to be by his side and help him with his insecurities. The bed scene was simple and nice.

Their first date is a grocery shopping.. He was speechless. Dong looked so soft in the white shirt and the last part...another great scene and performance..

and this... I liked the both episodes regardless of the angst. The sensitive bed scene was full of strong emotions. But they solved that too and still they had their first snow. The dance scene reminded me of the main couple from the Turkish drama Kuzey Guney.

@abs-oluteM ep 13&14 were so enjoyable because I skipped the mother's scenes... Although it was nice that she called CMD when she saw the Grandmother. my fav scenes - the flashback scenes and the happy scene infront of the cinema..

Chadaang and the loud kisses....

Both episodes were light and sweet, except for the part about Madam Lin. The black-white picture of her boyfriend is beautiful. The director timed the kisses nicely...and the CP chemistry is superb even when they are just talking on the sofa in the living room. Poor CDM, Shanghai is a strong love rival. Good development for CG and XX and Jitong contributed to that..but is he trying to have something with XX... bts

He is a very polite gangster...I already like the dynamic between them... Im a bit disappointed that she was in love with him. Another nice poster

A new couple ? XiaXia and Big Brother Cui...the shopping scene was hilarious... Dong is more smiling but when he saw Jitong and ZJ in that restaurant he became serious again. The flashback scenes from ep 7 were emotional and the actor (young CMD) was so convincing. I liked when CMD turned off the lights in ZJ's apartment. ep 8..that was as caring as when he closed the restaurant door and covered ZJ's legs with his coat. Like him in the leather jacket...

same... I put the drama on hold...I will continue when all the episodes are subbed. I started only because o LX and I like all his scenes especially the friendship with the SL. The plot is interesting but complicated and the main villain is so smart but the FL is poorly written, for now. I still think it is a good drama. Meet Yourself...Oh, he is in this drama too, I will try it definitely. Walk With You...I already watched ep 1...not bad... The ending OST from Soothing Stars....

me too... I hope they dont change it again Absolutely ! All the scenes are not overly dramatic or cliche or pathetic. the romance... the piggyback scenes are nothing new but they looked fresh and they were a necessary part of the story. I also like that it was realistically shown that Chen had a romantic relationship in the past and that ZJ was in love with someone in Shanghai. The conversations about life and death are well done. The talks between Grandma and her friend about a bridge as a parallel for life. my fav from ep 6 is the breakfast scene between CMD and Grandma and the soft-boiled eggs conversation. Grandma is so cautious. CMD always finds the right words of comfort for the bereaved. Im not sure if it is his (the actor) real voice but CMD sounds so calm and reasonable. ep 6 I laughed when Chen literally ran out from the train. And I can understand why he deleted the contact. He knows that ZJ loves the city and herself more then him. Although I think he was a little afraid to open up to someone.

that was so funny... Granny will be so happy....and Madam Wu.... Im glad that Chen got up the courage and that she kissed him first. all the posters are so wonderful...

Shooting Stars I finished ep 3 and it is a very good drama, different from other Republican dramas. The plot is unpredictable and interesting. The ML and the little girl are so adorable, she is smart and brave.

Such beautiful scenes for our couple. Both, past and present. And I laughed again...the meeting with the mayor of Nanping town and the motorcycle riding scene. ZJ was so mischievous... The piggyback scenes were warm and cozy...my fav is the rain piggyback scene... I havent seen her in anything but she is very good in this role..

Their first encounter after 10 years on the train was funny and the main leads have a natural chemistry. I like how ZJ teases Chen but not in an annoying way. The blind date (ep 2)..I laughed so much. And the file misunderstanding, it was ZY's file. The actors (the younger version of the main leads) also have a good chemistry. The tree scenes were so lovely... ********** The ML is the ML from Shooting Stars. Im not a fan of Republic era cdramas but I watched the first episode. It is the first time I saw the actor and I liked him.

another nice drama and another a good role for the ML, but the ending was weird... Liked the smart couple and the funny scenes between them. The FL was so hilarious and mischievous (the belt gift scene)...

that was a nice drama and I love the ML in the gentle role and in the soft pink hoodie. the couple from the drama Love Beyond Words have a very attractive chemistry.

I loved all the second couple scenes... Jiang and Xiaosheng, also had their own drama in the modern era...that was so funny...

I didnt know he is so popular, it is the first time I have watched him. I saw the tittle in the IG comments before I wrote my previous post, and I watched the beginning of the drama on YT but for some reason the actors looked different to me than in this IG clip. So I thought it was a wrong drama.
