    @abs-oluteMYou're right DS really need to Konmari-ed his house, who need 1001 cameras, when 1 can do the job just fine? I approved his books collection tho, maybe that's the secret why he can do so many jobs. His vynil records collection also understandable, it seems this has become a new trend in Korea, and some other countries. I tempted to own this / cd player , but I'm shivering when thinking about the costs and the need of additional space to keep them. (and I suspect it will be left dusty in just few months, I have short term attention span 😅) The way DS live is actually quite contradictive with Walden's book environmentalism that he read.

It can take you somewhere you’ve never been. Once you’ve visited other worlds, like those who ate fairy fruit, you can never be entirely content with the world that you grew up in. Discontent is a good thing: discontented people can modify and improve their worlds, leave them better, leave them different. And while we’re on the subject, I’d like to say a few words about escapism. I hear the term bandied about as if it’s a bad thing. As if “escapist” fiction is a cheap opiate used by the muddled and the foolish and the deluded, and the only fiction that is worthy, for adults or for children, is mimetic fiction, mirroring the worst of the world the reader finds herself in. If you were trapped in an impossible situation, in an unpleasant place, with people who meant you ill, and someone offered you a temporary escape, why wouldn’t you take it? And escapist fiction is just that: fiction that opens a door, shows the sunlight outside, gives you a place to go where you are in control, are with people you want to be with(and books are real places, make no mistake about that); and more importantly, during your escape, books can also give you knowledge about the world and your predicament, give you weapons, give you armour: real things you can take back into your prison. Skills and knowledge and tools you can use to escape for real. As JRR Tolkien reminded us, the only people who inveigh against escape are jailers. Note : I guess I also have to thanks my parents, as they never really limit what I read. I do enjoyed RL Stine, Enid Blyton, and do understand if parents might have concern about the contents.

    I always have mixed feelings about social benefit. Some people trully need it, and some really don't. And its also on money by hard working taxpayers 🥲 Some people really abused the system. (I often read this from Daily Mail in UK especially). I guess everyone already in pandemic fatigue? I thought 2 years will be max for this pandemic to end (like Spanish flu back then), but tbh I don't foresee it's going to end even after 2 years. I actually just started feel getting used with WFH, but not sure when will be called back to office 😅

    Yeah me too, he looks too pro for someone who never date bwahaha... In later eps you will feel this. Haha I think luckily no YY hardcore havenites watching this (yet) 😂 It's not a masterpiece but it's enjoyable and funny? But yeah ep 17-18 start to become stall a bit. Hope today eps will be more interesting.

My favourite of AC is "And Then There Were None". Still the best from all AC that I ever read. @JenL Uh yes, research so accurate, indeed 6 pieces. I don't think will increase, I have no interest with other title in that lists 😂 : Harry Potter Kite Runner Holy Bible The Da Vinci Code Memoirs of Geisha The Curious Incident of Dogs (forced to read, school's task 😅)

    @40somethingahjummaNing Meng indeed progressing to be quite scary and super sticky. I don't think anyone could stand OP that devoted their whole life just for you. It's just quite wrong in so many level. Actually Zhi Juan even he's a psychologist, he doesn't even bothered to give Xia Qian a closure and just ghosting her in their engagement day 😨 Even after 2 years, he also still quite rude to her. I think this couple's relationship actually might not able to be salvaged. I think Hebo actually already quite confused inside, other than ShuangShuang, he also quite close with Ning brother-sister. Not sure what is his motive for the backstabbing, either power or revenge. I really don't have much expectation on this, and I surprised I already watched 16 eps. So I will just enjoy the ride and maybe drop it if it getting worst 😅 P.s I will consider to try To Love after this. Last time I remember many people calling me to watch it 😂 I haven't know the power of Lin Geng Xin just yet 😆

    Finished with ep 9. Have to be honest, it's not so engaging. And I kind of dissapointed that YDM going back to become detective again. His heart never been in university, but since he was going to teach SH and the friend, isn't he should try to be more resolute even just for a little longer ? I maybe will permanently dropped this. Too bad, starting was good tho.

    Haha somehow I already finished watching 15 eps. I also wondered if they have that many topics until eps 40. But that cat couple seems in trouble and going nowhere haha... so maybe this can drag for many eps... I watched this with almost 0 expectation, but I guess LGX is so handsome so I withdrawn to him, and NW doesn't dissapoint too. He looks so good for someone age 50. Yes @abs-oluteMsomehow they get tangled unexpectedly.

    Btw @abs-oluteMwhy we're not selling this drama to @Dhakra ? I think he will like it. The tone is realistic drama with dark tone and some sarcastic humour. Kind of similar serious tone with One Spring Night, My Mister, and seems @ktcjdramasaid Secret Love Affair too.
