ya the preview looks worrying. so sad for WQ. hopefully they don drag over ep 30. will end in 2 weeks i believe. But i seriously feel sad for XGY. the character is so lovable and really feel he deserve a nice nice gal. so heartbreaking he found out that he and wq will never be cause of her brother's death. Also i feel somebody so good lilke XGY may eventually die in the drama.

i really like TXL description of XGY.. He is a real gentleman. TXL did not say XGY is born in the wrong era instead he uses the word this era does not deserve such a good man. Which is so true.

every episode is making me sitting tightly on my chair. no boring moment. nice balance of excitement of mind games, politics and gun fires (without too complicated plot) with the leads sweet love.

love love ep 17-18. love the expression of TXL when he realised that WQ remembered everything of the first kiss haha..it has so much sweetness, vulnerabilities and joy.... love how even though TXL is reckless, brazen and ambitious, he is a fair person with intergrity; a good kind person in the heart with the ability to love ppl around him very well - his soldiers, his subordinates, his sister and shuang-er, and now MWQ. and i love how he can be so cute and boyish too...which actually fit his character writing because he is actually a 25 yo. someone who is at the peak of his life supposedly if his army and family weren't wiped out 10 years ago. my claps to Oliver Chen. He did so well.

in ep18 her father asked her why she knows so much about the business. she says she finish the entire economics business degree in japan and did her practical training in japan trading and stock exchange. her father was shocked and mentioned but u are only 20, she explained that she got in at 16 as special entrance. wow!!! genius gal!!! Ep 2 she mentioned she did a side study in architectures...maybe like electives or minor. hahahaa.....TXL is a military and political genius and she is a business and academic genius....i shuddered if i am their enemy hahaha...

OMG MWQ is a business & economics genius. The girl got special entrance to university at the age of 16 wow....TXL just picked up for himself a piece of GOLD BAR alright!!! now make sense why she can calculate every step of the way with the soldiers turn security police saga.

from my understanding of the trailers: 17-18 they confirmed on their relationship. 2nd kiss and yes it is tonight!!! and TXL has WT in his hands which caused WQ to worry about it. Looks like out Commander Tan is a gentleman. both time he never make a move on WQ. both initiated by WQ. 19-20 General Xu wants to consolidate the relationship with Boss Mu. Hence the idea of alliance marriage between XGY and WQ. WQ and TXL is doing a under the wrap relaitionship. WQ very worried about the engagement suggestion and ep 20 she slapped TXL because he says he need to balance between the power struggle with General Xu and his relationship with WQ. meaning he is still thinking if WQ is worth tipping the balance with General Xu. I mean i am sure there is something in his mind. something scheming going on. There is also japanese coming into the picture now. 21-22 TXL announced he will officially court WQ. XGY very upset as he announce pending their engagement. the argument. both men stood firma nd WQ dad also knows d and advise against it.. And ep 22 looks like they are out in open with the relationship and looks like WQ makes peace with XGY.

13 and 14 are really funny because i reckon, TXL is over reacting hahaha...i mean XGY just got shot and had his chest opened up..and TXL is concern and i mean seriously concern that XGY and WQ can do anything....hahaha...the guy cant even get his own water. But after seeing the last confession scene i guess TXL does have foresight. Everyone is down on guard and WQ would feeling raw after almost killed in the kidnapping. if this is not WQ, i believe any gal would have say yes to XGY - handsome, powerful, smart on top of being kind and gentlemen plus he almost lost his life trying to save her. So it is a DANGER zone to put them together indeed. But i just love TXL illogicalness in worrying how XGY and WQ are alone. shows he is leaving NOTHING to chance when it comes to her. 15 16 are so exciting. non stop story unravelling. after i watched these two episodes, i can conclude this TXL X MWQ combined together = i don want to be their enemy. no thank you. They are too scary...not 1+ 1 = 2, it is more like 2 to the power of max turbo. their interaction is perfect. i love the way he always look at her so proudly whenever she figure out something and match his mind. there is a twinkle in his eyes that speaks so loud...'go on my dear, u got it...smart gal'. the whole 2 episodes give me a vibe that these two are perfect match. And they can only fall in love with one another because no matter how kind and good XGY is he isnt a match for her either. and no other woman will do for him either. she is a perfect gift from above who landed in his cabin bedroom hahahaa (ep 1). And u guys see how TXL is tipping around XGY with fishy sentences like me and ms wq understand each other, we are closer than u think bla bla bla...his jealousy and his urge to stack his claim is like uncontrollable hahahaha lol. love this drama for writing this character so well...reckless, brazen, ambitious yet playful kind and smart. The actor did a perfect job. i lol with all his silliness over WQ (the office placement, the walking up and down along the corridor in front of her office, him pouring water over himself, pretending he is working after that kiss from her etc etc) but cant help sigh and goes drooling when he does his smart capable moments. Oliver Chen is officially on my list of to watch idol. i am his fan now!!!!

The whole 2 episodes i cant help but feel so tired for XGY.....besides WQ who seriously want to look him, rest are all there for other reasons hahahaha....TXL is basically worry WQ being snatched the moment she is out of his sight (he is so hilarious, oliver chen all his expression is priceless lol), the actress for TXL, Su marshal for the actress, little sister for Pei marshal etc. i mean it is a circus when all he need is rest...the guy just had his chest cut open...for goodness sake. But i really think XGY is such a nice guy. and the way he confessed to WQ is also so sweet. he is definitely less thorny than TXL. and i just realised that every time WQ is in danger, he will stand up to protect her without second thought. the hostage case when he goes to replace her, the party assassination case when they reach the roof, TXL said don go there may be tricks, he just went anyway; the jumping into the river and taking the bullet. u guys realised he always does for her Without second thoughts. i mean as a woman, a guy who do things for u wo second thoughts really would be worth it in real life i guess. i maybe developing SML syndrome here...they just make his character too nice but prob less interesting in a way. I guess it is a case of nice guy finish last hahahahaah.....

i know...it was like what is she about to say....aiiiikkkkksss Glad it is still airing tonight till wed. i think 17-18 will be their confirmation on the relationship. i believe the ost and opening and closing theme shows they will be married and from a few of her later hairstyles it will that of a married woman taking control over the business and thus supporting his army greatly. the story kind have a Song sisters vibes with song meiling and chang kai shek. I really love how intelligent both are and how they can meet not only emotionally but mentally as well. and i can see the whole process of why they can fall in love. it is logically. other people just not going to be a match. i call this soul mates. Yeap there is no boring moment so far...in both plots and romance. yeah the dad looks like a careful fellow but not ruthless so far. but i guess he cant be a richest man in shanghai wo something underneath. lets wait and see. i believe the stepmother n wanting will be out by ep 16 or 17. Hip hip hooray!!!! Regarding the kidnapping, the boss Min is working for both stepmom and General Xu. the real deal boss is General Xu. General Xu wanted him to stir the pot for TXL in Shanghai with his private army thing. the plot is should be on the surface going to kidnap WQ dad (claiming TXL army kidnapping richest man is a big deal) but only stepmom and Boss min know that on that day it will be WQ in the car only. because the stepmom already hold back dad with excuse of WT being sick. that is my understanding.

i am getting more and more vested in the drama. it is not so hard to watch. even though it is a serious tone of war, army, politics and glitzy shanghai. love the 2 leads. the FL my first time seeing her and i think she has a natural look. love how she is very intelligent with a brain on par with the ML. the ML is a good guy who just been through so much as a young boy but he has maintained a kindness, bravery and optimism/playfulness. he is of course scheming and untrusting of anyone which is expected for a man of that position leading an army. I really love their interactions - the meeting of minds, the sparring and flirting. and i can feel love now. they are falling in love and they will soon know they are each other soul mates. i dont think they will be angsty love triangle here. SML evan lin will not be a annoying sml from the development of story for now. there is no exes from ML i believe. i think the side second leads are more family to the leads than rivals. Of course ML is drool worthy. so is the SML...It will be so interesting to see how she will gain control over the family business and be a great support to him financially and emotionally as a partner. while he loves and protects her whole heartedly in the midst of all the unrest in shanghai and their lives. Can see a very heartwarming story brewing. Do you ladies think the young marshal pei that the sister is interested in is actually very very good looking too...he is really catching my attention besides ML and SML. this story really have eye candies alright. eye candies that can act and do the character justice. i am going to follow this alright.

yeah i think u make perfect sense. he prob not really a playboy. just have too many gals throwing themselves at him. he does give an impression of a rather calm, rational and calculating his move type of person and since the day he met her, his moves are all off course. he is drawn when he is not suppose to. he does things he would normally not do. talking about a gal getting under his skin. but he is so looking. chisel and lean look. my first time seeing him in modern role. prev all the costume drama. drool...sigh...got to wait till next week and i really dislike the bro and bff getting so much screen time. almost 20 min of screen time in ep 10 is about the other two. i just want to our leads. Are u guys doing Fall in Love. Boy the two male leads there are definitely drool worthy. and i think the story is getting more n more interesting too.

electrifying is the perfect word for it. it is like the magnetic field is so high u will be zapped even if u are near hahaha. like sexy yet they are not even touching one another..can see he kinda regretted being so out of control. i like it he tells the fiance. in merger and investment, u can be in control one moment but be controlled the next. so u never know. and he said to FYX u better understand your own position now hahaha..like know where u stand. definitely not an upper hand imo. and in the meeting he literally admit it...there are hard cases and they are easy cases...the recent case is a hard mode. hahaha....is he saying i m tackling ur gf hahaha... But with MLZ, QY keep saying this type of man is hard to understand and not easy to have a relationship with them so she would rather not. which i think is true.. looking at the situation he is super very attracted to her but i dont see a situation of when he has gone head over heels of her. is it a case of harder to get then more interested, u just want what u cant have? fits a image of tough nut investment CEO...i havent got the feeling of falling in love though. and his buddies seems to point out that he is a player. so i havent really understand the MLZ character. what do you ladies think? Anyway, this is definitely a 'adult' relationship drama which makes the second leads relationship rather boring to me. i wish they can skip the two more. a little pointless. I just watched ep 9 where he says the theory of pendulum...about how he will wait for her to move. what a deep type of guy. i tthink both guys have the element of strategising, scheming and ruthless to them. guess at the end it is who really does it out of love.

@IpohBananalove ep 7...the conversation between the two guys are so whoooffff one at the restaurant, one at the meeting and another one at the lobby lounge area...i mean it is intelligent....this is like two powerhouse (two lions warring)...one stating his claim, another one keeping his calm and waiting to make his move. I could feel MLZ felt shit every time he sees her with the fiance and everytime he state his claim, he is actually burning inside and upset but from the way he talks he is like pokerface and basically saying to FYX that i m gonna give u a run for your money...ahem your gal. I think ML does a good job here of feeling the dilemma...he cant stop being so strongly drawn to her and could not seem to help himself whilst he knows he has to respect her and keep their distance. it is also a moral issue. if she is engaged and he decide to make the move, he is essentially trying to snatch someone's else fiancee/gf like being brand as the 3rd party in the relationship. i mean this contradiction and push n pull of emotion is quite well done in this drama. i find it more interesting than many dramas this year. i think ep 8 is where he is saying heck care i am done with that line thingy..if i am the one who can make u happy and treat u well, what do i care...cant wait for tomolo. I so totally agree that this actor need a boost to fan. he has it...look, skills and some maturity..def not the fanboy type of idol. this one and Zhan yung long, the SML actor in my roommate is a detective. these two i reckon need more attention!!!!!! BTW anyone notice that this drama the FL has good budget for clothing. almost every ep she changed 3 x hahaha....

The first 6 has me hooked. i go in because of Liu xue yi. he is sooooo good looking but previously mostly second male lead role in Ancient poetry and Love and redemption. @Tofu i finished all 6. i think they have better chemistry than her and chengyi in the recent Stand by me ancient drama. i get the sizzling hot feel from this. he is obviously very into her by ep 6 but she even though attracted wanted to give the fiance and their relationship a last shot. it is like the forbidden love sort of troupe which is kinda interesting. i think both leads gave that feel of ohoh u are trouble but i still want to go near to the tip. can actually feel their attraction and dilemma. The fiance is a jerk. he is doing it like she is a investment deal. everything is planned and has a motive. her bff is right. if he can cheat and so casually brush it off as an accident, the guy is very very dangerous. too cold and calculative and yet he can act so caring and sweet in front of her. it is just like i had been making effort to butter and icing my cake and i am not going let anyone eat it even though i m not so into it. she prob sense something is wrong. but just cant accept ppl changed.

anyone going to follow Love at Night? Lead by Liu Xue yi the handsome second ml in love and redemption and ancient love poetry. he is really handsome in modern suits hahaha....FL is zhang yuxi, who has recently partnered with chengyi in a costume drama and prev she is the fl for intense love with ryan ding. i watched a first 6....looks pretty hot. hahaha...a little like forbidden love cause she is a engaged woman but fiance cheated on her.

Thanks ladies for finishing this together. i really really really enjoy this drama. this is the only one plus imperial coroner i finished as they released and both has the ML hahaha....most of the other dramas this year, i sometimes stop and go back to it after the ending is out for a few weeks cause i lose the steam or interest. Unforgettable love was good up to ep 19 then the horrible breakup and i stopped and go back only after months. Wish they make dramas like this. why need noble idiocracy and self sacrifices, stupid misunderstandings and why cant ppl talk it out. this type of drama is very positive and soothing for the eyes and hearts hahahaha.... yes i agree about the baby..i was hoping to see some YSC antics when she is pregnant or have a child...can imagine how he will be so arrogantly acting like he has total control but end up being totally putty and totally losing it with a child or baby with XX hahaaaha...These two i agree 100%... i just giggled and feel myself blushing with the PDA but they are so natural like they are so totally in love and cant stop kissing and hugging each other. love how she coo and pamper and spoilt him hahaha..and how she know he is just a childish guy but love him the entire package.....I just feel their on screen characters are written like make in heaven. it is logical for these two to fell in love..unlike some dramas, at the end you dont even know why the characters are together and can be together for a long run. he is bossy, ruthless and impatient but smart. she is smart and gentle and patient. like two puzzles that fit. And of course they slender and tall built makes them such good looking couple. the kinda couple that u see and you sigh and say hmmmm wonderful..u two just look so good together. hahaaha... As for XW i guess with SC and XX characters it is a logical ending. much SC is ruthless he is not cruel. he is good and loyal to friends and i cant think of him taking actions against XW his childhood friend. even though she almost end his career and marriage. i don think XX would want a guy like that. i AM also very surprised MZX disappear. i would imagine seeing him at the final fashion show. guess he took a graceful exit but that bit is still not logical for the audience. he is a friend and a good friend to XX. no sense he just too an exit. so i think the script just ended him too abruptly. But anyway, this will be my favourite drama and leads of 2021.

c dramaland been pretty dull in october. few melodrama and suspense. i m very bored too. is it because of the cleaning up in china over their entertainment industry? I find rebirth a little dull. i really feel JJY is a little empty for some reason. maybe i watched her too many times with zzh. now with another male lead just doesnt feel the kick

love love it that they are weathering the storm together. and glad they have good friends in shang ke and nana and XX bestie. The MIL is such a smart open minded lady. i was kinda hoping for that because the whole family including grandma, dad and SC are nice folks. they are kind and sweet even though they all look pretty intimidating to start of with. it makes sense as birds of the same feathers are in one family. hahahaha....To me, SC mother is a very intelligent person and business woman...she already sense what is RXW all about. and the conversation she had RXW is basically a very cultured, intelligent and kind way of telling her to forget it. If you ever need anything, let ME help you. you are just like my DAUGHTHER. and in a ruder way is please don look for XC anymore and he is happily married and i already have a daughter in law that i am happy with. Slap slap,,whammy!!!! I think she is a big picture kinda lady. 1. her son is already married like it or not. 2. he definitely look so happy. 3. even though XX is not from the upper class, she can tell XX is a hardworking and kind gal who loves her son. 4. breaking them up is not going to do any good. Besides making herself unpopular and her son unhappy, it will affect the business, share price of both yin and whymall. just the contract marriage already created a shrinking in a 1.2 billion worth of whymall. so their CEO divorcing in less than a year will definitely hit the business and corporate image. mostly i really love this relationship btw them. first both leads are written as pretty smart individuals. And SC is the type that he is careful when it comes to relationship with other females even before and after he is married. i know ppl like that in real life. they dont give themselves and their spouses opportunity to worry about someone butting in. They normally don have meals or hang around with single opposite sex colleagues alone and they will always inform and be truthful if they have to be in the working relationship with those ppl. they make a effort to bring their spouses into any social engagements. it makes their spouses trust them and be very secure. much like the Forever and ever drama btw the two leads. They just dont put themselves in compromised situations. SC is like that here. love this type of ml in dramas. u dont know how many times i want to wack some MLs in other dramas like the recent cute programmers and early this yr hello mr gu. These mls think too highly of themselves thinking they have no feelings for the other person and everything is fine and they are in total control. Besides SC and XX dont listen to others unless the words comes from one another. like how xx misunderstood SC during the masquerade because it was from his own mouth. other times, they just trust each other and even though they havent realise their feelings for each other.Due to respect for one another and the contract, they tried to protect and be responsible for their own actions. And SC trust XX too. Even MZX is really annoying him, he knows unless it is from XX own mouth that she is not loving him anymore, there is nothing anyone can do to make him think otherwise. That is the core. and that is why he never get angry on XX or say stupid things to XX when XX hangs around MZX. BTW i Love the assistant too...he really has the most funny lines in the show. if you two dont stop your show of love, i am gonna claim work eyes injury insurance. hahahaha....basically no eyes to see you two hahaha....and he actually put up and go along with many of SC antics like buying the air tickets at exactly 9 hours hahahaha.....and when SC asked him to deal with purchasing the airlines that XX goes on...he actually pretending to ask if the company sell UFOs too hahahaha...he is so hilarous. quiet humour. I think i have not laugh so much and slap my cushions in glee so much while a romcom before. it is truly a good piece of logical story telling, solid acting and nice pleasant directing.

i know it is really really anticlimax to have it next week.
