I agree. I do think that it's implied that he was very very sick at Christmas and the whole fake death thing as much as I didn't like it was because he would rather Lala let go of him and just live her life with him as a fond memory rather than cling onto him in pain. Someone passing away and leaving sucks, but time heals that pain. Watching someone wither away and being anxious for them as they suffer every day might drain their happiness. I guess that is the idea they were aiming to portray with Jun 

 

Youre right here. The phone call when Rara sang, Jun looked very ill that time then Rara had a dream where she hugged Jun in the piano saying 'are you having a hard time' (i think I read it on your blog) wherein the dream might be like a premonotion of him battling for his life that time. Watching someone wither away and being anxious seeing them suffer all the time is harder. Will definitely drain away all the happiness of Rara and Eunpo folks.

While I can't watch LJW in Extraordinary You haha...mainly because I'm very picky when it comes to storyline with high school backdrop even though EY has its own unique storyline. I know LJW is great in it, I've watched some clips from it, he's a pull factor but I prefer to save myself from joining team Baek Kyung and feel the same way I did with team Chilbong as I mentioned above. .

I just saw a clip for true beauty with LJW. Baek kyung fans will not be happy because DanOh is still looking for Haru! 😅 Still not a happy one for BaekYung.

I am also team Chilbong that I had a hard time finishing Reply '94 (same with Extraordinary You) I hated every minute NaJung was with Trash... 🙄

Just a thought...... with what happened to 'True Beauty' cameo of LJW being a continuation of Extraordinary You, it would be amazing if that happened to a future project of the director of DDSSLS, wherein GAR and LJW will cameo together and they will show a little sneak peak of their life after the drama (a kid maybe?) That would truly make up for the angry fans

i think this drama had so many calling scene. They filming separate but i don't why i excited everytime  they had calling scene. Their chemistry is soo good and i think this scene credit to director for making that scene look natural.

The promotion team in the cafe said "making DVD production decision after discussion with the distributor. I will notify you again" this was sent 00:02 December 18..... its already 12pm in Korea 🤞

@JenL @okrim they do need a minimum of 900 preorders for it to be made. I asked the admin of cafe daum if we can know how many orders are already been made but the admin said she cannot reveal it 😔 i did saw most of GAR IG fanpage promoting, dont know about LJW fans. Some fans in the cafe were asking for an extension but the admin cannot guarantee it becuase it will depend on the manufacturer. I hope the 900 pre orders are already filled 🤞🙏

But it was normally when they do intimate/sweet scenes that it shows.  I did see the one for WWW with Lee Da hee, he was blushing when PD-nim was instructing him about the kiss as he felt uncomfrtable coz the PD  was close to him (re-enacting the scene with PD).  And LDH was saying omo, he is blushing. Also the one where Jun was sleeping on the piano and Rara hugged him, that was really really sweet.-- one of my fave moments of them. 

 

 

I was re-watching the series for the nth time,  and I realised, on Jun's notebook there was another photo of Rara+ Jihun, which I assumed Rara didn't find out? As she only saw the one with Jun and Jihun. 

I watched that BTS in WWW too! Lol! He blushed with the director but not with DaHee. 😄 ...  love the piano hug too!!! But the BTS is on a different level becuase they really like to goof around each other. When LJW pretended to cry becuase  its their last scene but GAR cheered LOL! Then LJW cheered after as well ...

I wonder where the other picture went, I was thinking when the episode aired maybe Rara will see the picture then remember Jun in the recital (but then i'm wrong) never would have guessed that her friend is the sister of Jihun!

i never get tired of rewatching the drama too! 😃

I really thought that could have been such a good way to end the story, even if they didn't get married. A trip to Jeju, which is pretty much the honeymoon island. Ah well. I did actually like Episode 15 if you forget about episode 14 and half of episode 16. That's why I thought that Swoon video about Lala and Jun was good because it cut out some of those cute parts of episode 15 and skipped over episodes 14 and 16. LOL  I do have to say I have poor memory though...which episode did they plan to meet at Jeju again??

 

 

Oh yeah, for sure. I feel like LJW would have learnt a lot form Go Ara. Especially in sweetness and comedy. I think LJW has tsundere down to a tee from previous roles and he naturally seems to have a teasing/ dry humour side to him (he did say in the past if he bought a present, he'd be like, "Meh, just picked this up. Nothing special."  To be honest, the Jun at the end of the series screamed out LJW more than Jun in my eyes...which is why I eventually forgave him. LOL). Soooo I think Go Ara really did teach him a lot about those elements, not just on screen but real life too since he was always charmed by her ability to be herself and just have fun 

 

 

 

 They talked about the Jeju trip in the beginning of ep 10 before Rara gets kidnapped. Talking about the ending makes me sad again... LoL especially with all the drama that aired same time with Dodosol all having a wedding scene  why oh why didnt the writter made a 3rd wedding.... when I saw GAR instagram post fitting gowns, i really thought that one of those might be for her wedding with Jun 

So true about LJW having a dry humor 😆  i really like their exit interview too. If them being together in a drama again is impossible,  i hope when the director or writer have a new project they will atleast let GAR and LJW cameo at the same time in the show 😄

Thanks for all sharing content in this thread....its make harder for me to move on from this couple.I had tendency when i ship people in drama, i cannot see them with other person in next drama...but i want to keep support them individually.

I love that scene too! Their conversation is soo cute . @eNDe thought that we can imagine their lifetime together having that cute conversation. .

Same here, I will have a hard time to watch them with other actors.... 😄 but still want to support them 😉

I think Reply 1994 was the drama that she could show so many layers as an actress and comedy is where I see her shine. While LJW is doing all the seriousness that's perfect too, he has shown many more layers in DDSSLLS. 

 

 So true about GAR, she shines on comedy. Although her crying skills improved ALOT!  LJW may learn alot for GAR with comedy becuase according to him in the KBS interview, he said 'she doesnt care if her image is ruined' and is wondering if those can be aired . GAR doesnt mind looking goofy

I was also wondering if they have more than one winner becuase I saw a clip on last year's awards,  there were like 5 couple on stage for best couple.  'Forest' couple might be hard to beat if there is only one winner becuase park hae jin and jo bo ah can also pull numbers, they are super duper famous. 

@eNDe i also love that scene. And I find GAR really beautiful in that scene. she looks good in white. I love Juns expression when Rara says she'll move out quickly after paying him back, its heart fluttering but heart breaking at the same time 😄 kept on laughing also with her first encounter with director chu, and Juns reaction when he saw her playing tug of war with director chu, Jun looked like a very protective boyfriend

  In episode 6, when Rara said to Jun to stay by her side but killed the moment by saying who will take care of the plants. Their conversation was too cute! LJW smile was so real  when Rara was trying to figure out how much she owed him . I was hoping for a kiss in the level of punishment LOL!!! But the hug was alright atleast the get to 'sleep' together

Actually, I was anticipating to watch DDSSLLS on KBS World but to my disappointment, it was not part of its broadcast;( maybe because of Netflix, that's why, it was only shown in KBS Korea and Netflix for world wide audience.

@Unnie0110 i also love those scenes especially the bike scene when they almost knocked down the bike becuase of the teasing of 'sleeping together'! and the soundtrack in that scene made it more lovely! 

@purplefin @Unnie0110 the recital as well, you described his emotions on point. LjW really did capture all those emotions in that 2-3 second close up. Such an amazing actor. Remember in the interview regarding the wedding scene, GAR described LJW startled eyes and acting doesnt seem like acting and even asked him he knows theres and episode. (I dont know if i interpreted it correctly lol!)

So funny, maybe Rara is really dull that she doesnt remember the face that bought her watermelon juice and even shared a table with her! Who would forget that face! C'mon! 😅

I love rewatching the scene when Rara figured out that Jun was the watermelon juice guy. Even the slow-mo of the scene showing the ripped jacket. (I love the background music in that scene, gave it more intensity. I couldnt find that music tho)

I am still re-watching it though 🤣 , don't trying to see it in a different light 😅 , (especially episode 16, I am trying to understand  the inconsistency behind Jun's character and what the writers were thinking 😅😆🤣). It's still one of my favourite dramas though. 

I saw on the comments in youtube (the latest ddsslls swoon vid) most of them did loved the drama (as of my reading last night 😆). 

Maybe he's got a whole album of their pics. Who knows...
