Yes, now that I have seen it with subs, seems like what happened post kiss is left to our imagination off screen.

Seeing how happy JW is it won't be long before the whole world knows . I am looking forward to her meeting Mama Rosa who is clearly going to love her. The dinner date was really sweet. One of the things I always feel makes a healthy relationship is when that person helps you grow. I appreciated the advice that Jeong Won told her on how to deal with the Yeon U's mum. And Gyeoul took the advice to heart and made time to have coffee with her.

That makes me thinking about their scene in ER cubicle in the trailer. So, what is that about? And there's a clip of sad Gyeoul too in from of patient's room.

Yes I hope we can see Mama Rosa meets Gyeoul again. The dinner shows their dynamics just like what the fans always say about them, learn from each other. Jeongwon's gesture is really sweet and Gyeoul knows that she can trust Jeongwon. The dinner is perfect to me.

  2. One thing tho, are we really going not to see the talk after the kiss? As much as I'm so happy with them right know, I really wanna know how Jeongwon tells his true feelings after that. And about the awkwardness, I'm sure all of us didn't expect they are already comfortable with each other but maybe the awkward situation will arise when they talk something more..uhm..private? lmao

  3. Coach Yoon is so frustrating, he doesn't seem to have any contribution to the team so far. But with the writer record, I'll still believe there's something more for him.

I searched badminton match between Korea vs New Zealand last night coz I was curious and found BWF's YouTube channel xP. I watched a few minutes of Lee Dan vs a Kwang Hee Heo (couldn't find Korea vs NZ).

It's very rare to see NZ in big tournament, they don't have top players. That's why it's odd to make Seyoon never wins against a NZ player. A quite well known from oceania country is women's double pair from Australia, if you're still interested you can search for it.

@SnowBlob on next episode Seyoon's competition will be at Istora, too bad the focus is on women's single only, if they do men's double maybe they'll recreate the daddies or minions  :pandahappy:

  4. Hi all! And thanks to @mademoiselle for making this thread.

I’m really hooked on this drama. The kids and their family are so lovable. In the world of kdrama full of teenagers bullying and not proper romance stories, Racket Boys is like a breath of fresh air to me, their interaction is just like normal middle schoolers would be. Also, I love that they insert the details about badminton and its athlete’s life in their conversation, some of them would be like normal conversation but for badminton fans you must notice it right away. With all the heart-warming stories, how they wrap up/resolve the issue, some twist here and there, I guess the writing style is a little bit influenced by Lee Woo Jung since the writer is her hoobae.

However, I can’t help but to feel bothered with some inaccuracies

    Spoiler

    - When Haekang needed 10 minutes to score 1 point. That’s most likely not to happen. Well, it can but they might faint after that lol. The record for longest badminton rally is just about 4 minutes and it’s by double players.
    -  Certainly, the match of Seyoon in NZ isn’t a junior tournament set-up. It's too glorious. They imitate the NZ Open, a regular tournament for world ranked players.
    - Korean player has kryptonite over a NZ player. I hope they use a real competition scheme.

So far, it’s still tolerable, but I hope it’s not getting more annoying later since they say they want to make it as real as possible.

IKR . But it can’t be ...that isn’t JW at all. So don’t worry

Right... all the guys are good man, they won't do something like that but idk I still haven't figured out how wg will addressed their relationship after the kiss. I think it's because we haven't seen them having proper conversation beside their works...

    Also this lol

This most likely to happen knowing it's ShinLee but still I'm not ready for this 😭😭

As I was reading the thread, it struck me that ShinLee could create their own fictional virus that is weaker and would then allow them to work in storylines to show how the rl pandemic have affected medical workers, hospital operations and society, while still maintaining a normal-ish world. I am thinking back to SARS where it was threatening for a couple of months, less contagious and contained before it escalated into a pandemic.

A couple of other fans did point out that perhaps this sign is for real life and not a production prop.

I guess we will find out in less than a month! I can't believe it's less than a month now!

Oh this is what I anticipate as well. Featuring real life event that people can relate and reminisce is their mark, that's why korean love their works, but of course for this matter it could be very challenging since it's medical drama.

But I doubt it's not for prop... the translation mentioned about ER, visitor, guardian, and barcode.

Seokhyung is a bit of a bear of a guy, but I think he's definitely one of those still waters who run deep. It's a bit sad that he's lived such an apologetic life, and it would be so great if he could really be happy rather than living in atonement.

Agree with you. Imo, Seokhyeong can be as wise as Songhwa. I love his openness to be vulnerable in front of his friends but at the same he always handles things wisely.

I wonder what this means for Mi Na's potential romance with SH. I really wanted MN to get SH since I think they could be a good match for each other. However, SH probably has to resolve his issues over his ex-wife first anyway since he feels apologetic to her for not being a good husband.

I won't be surprised if turns out the call from his ex-wife is nothing but christmas greeting call only. Seems I've learned my lesson whenever ShinLee gave intense cliffhanger or preview just to see it's not something to worry about lol.

About Minha, I need to see more of Seokhyeong's true pov, in Jeongwon's case we knew that he was on denial, they gave hints about it, but in season 1 I think Seokhyeong was being honest for not want to in a relationship due to his baggage. I hope to see more relax Seokhyeong since he had enough in season 1.

I suppose if the coffee truck is successful, this ship is safe in the drama?

Considering that they are in the middle of filming, and the coffee truck is welcomed by both actors, at least we can say that winter garden is REAL not only a dream or twist.

Oh also there's another one from Indonesian fans, tho I don't know when they will send it.
