But that's a spoiler for those of us who are following the YouTube/Viki schedule, shhhh. 😉 But like I said, for ZQ, I suspect there are also deeper reasons for why he is able to be led astray. That feeling that he owes a debt to JJ's family. The lack of security and sense of belonging that he's always carried with him. Probably working through those will also help him figure out how he really feels about JJ, which is nothing more than as a sister.

Pretty much. Any consideration he gives to JJ as a life partner is based on confused feelings, generated by the powers of persuasions from his friends, and probably also feelings of debt that he carries towards JJ and her father. He's not really in love with her in that way, and I trust he'll figure that out eventually.

Being on Team ZQ JJ would only lead to sadness, lol. It was written in the stars long ago who JJ would end up with. I’m Team ZQ MY. 😝

Why? You may have watched farther ahead of me (I'm following the YouTube/Viki schedule) and maybe you've seen something I don't yet know about, but right now, her only "crime" is to crush on LX. But that's all it is - an infatuation - and while I would rather her get over it sooner rather than later, I don't hate her for it. Besides, from her perspective, it's not as if she thinks she's poaching on her friend's territory when JJ has only ever told her that she thinks of the boys as her brothers. I actually feel bad for MingYue what with the way she's had to live under her mother's domineering thumb. No wonder she's confused about how she really feels and is easily swayed. I reserve my hate in this show for people like... the three generation of women in LX's maternal family, as JJ once put it. LX's maternal uncle (who I seriously wanted to reach through the screen to punch when he accused LX of being responsible for his sister's death and being a cold, unfeeling son). And ZQ's sperm donor (as I refuse to call him a father, even a biological one). 😝

Now you make me regretful I didn’t lose it to the Yibo thread... which I was just checking out until I saw the notification of your reply pop up. 😂 TSY is great in this drama. I’m also pretty sure she has drunk from the fountain of youth, as no matter what drama I watch her in and what year I watch her in, she never seems to age. My favorite characters to watch are the dads... they could be a comedy show on their own. And the little boy who played young ZQ has my heart.
