I enjoyed the first season of The Good Detective!
 

Will be disappointed if Lee Elijah is not recasted.

May watch this since I like Kim Min Kyu, Mr Dimple!

@liddi The Veil main drama is still good especially NGM portrayal of JH. He deserves an acting award from MBC haha..

Just that SSY and CCW there are just side characters (very little screen time) unlike the spin off even though PHS is supposed to be one of the female leads.

@liddi I am glad I watched the 2-epiosde spin off. Its so good! 

The whole cast was excellent, really enjoyed it.

Right I am so hooked on SSY and CCW storyline despite just 2 short episodes.

As for The Veil itself please lower your expectations for these two characters.

I watched it for NGM.

With regards to KJY, he did well in BLWL. He was great as Jun Hwi! But he is a shy person and didn’t hang out with the younger cast get together when filming ended. My guess…he had some relationship issue and went into hibernation mode. Finally snap out of it and got this casting offer and refocused on his acting career. He really lost alot of weight for his role as WJ.

Hopefully can see him in a brighter role next.

@abs-oluteM seeing that PHS hair is less annoying in the spin off maybe I would watch it too.

Instead explain why PHS is casted as SY. I watched promo clip where NGM and PHS did together as the main leads before the show airs and attracted to their chemistry.

So they remembered there’s another FL haha…an afterthought.

Can’t they just incorporate these characters development/stories and make it a 14-episode drama?

And what’s the point of SY character or rather PHS casting as FL. To attract viewers to catch the drama having NGM and PHS pairing. Once we get hooked to the drama she can get flushed down the toilet haha… Hers is like a friendship cameo appearance.

Most of us viewers would have watched it for NGM alone, poor girl!

Finally caught up watching up to ep 7.

Damn I was sold when I saw that the leads are NGM and PHS.

But but by ep 5 SY is dead! 

The writer better bring her back to live or I will feel so cheated!
