  1. After such a beautiful kiss in the rain, I rolled my eyes a little when Ung told Yeon Su that he does not intend to date her again, but wants to be friends instead. However, thanks to Yeon Su's wittiness, she made him want to eat his words and made the situation quite comical. I like that she doesn't completely have the upper-hand though. It's good she saw NJ calling Ung's cell phone. I think it made her realize not to take his "let's be friends" request as a complete joke. I didn't quite understand Ung's dream (or nightmare) of himself as child crying. Did he get lost or separated from his parents? Recalling this traumatic memory seemed to have triggered his reluctance to date Yeon Su. As he said, being alone after being with someone, isn't something he wants to experience again. I know this is off topic here, but I binged The Red Sleeve over holiday break and LOVE the story to pieces. I really liked LJH from Just Between Lovers. I know CWS from his healing reality series which I understand he was struggling with the direction of his acting career. So, I agree with you it's been enjoyable to see Choi Woo Shik and Lee Jun Ho shine in their latest roles. Hope this is just the beginning of many great things for the two actors.
  2. SBS released a short clip of the next episode Unfortunately yes, his insomnia was briefly mentioned in Youn's Stay. I believe he's been doing better now though. Here is a snippet from his interview with Vogue last year in which he talks about it:
  3. I loved episodes 5 and 6. I will admit that in the beginning, I had some doubt on how Yeon Su’s character would be written out, but I kept hope that her mean and cold façade would eventually be explained. So, I was really pleased when Yeon Su revealed and acknowledged that her tough exterior is her own defense mechanism to hide her insecurities. If she is conscious and aware of it, it tells me that she is capable of change (for the better). It crossed my mind whether her reason for breaking up with Ung may be borderline noble idiocy, but I am leaning toward not. I am a firm believer that you need to love yourself first, to love someone else. Her feelings of inferiority, shame and anxiety that we saw of her in the past were not healthy for herself, nor their relationship. So, the break-up was inevitable. I am rooting for her and Ung to ultimately get back together, but before it happens, I am cheering for Yeon Su to overcome her insecurities and to find herself worthy and deserving of things, including love. By the way, did it seem part of the reason why Yeon Su broke-up with Ung was because she overhead him giving up the opportunity to study overseas for a few years? Ung had mentioned to the professor that he did not want to go or do it alone. I interpreted as he gave it up to stay by Yeon Su. In addition to the hardships in her personal life, I think she felt underserving of Ung doing so for her. Ung’s mother meeting Yeon Su again at the drawing competition was one of favorite scenes so far. That moment felt special, especially when Ung’s mother reached out to hold Yeon Su’s hand. You can tell she is very fond of Yeon Su (even after knowing how difficult the break-up was for Ung). Her reception toward Yeon Su tells me that she believes Yeon Su is a good person and is worthy of her son. Is it really the end of LJH’s cameos? He was perfect as Director Jang. (Can't wait to hear of his next project!) I got to somewhat know Choi Woo Shik from the reality show, Youn’s Stay. He has a really adorable personality. His Youn’s Stay castmates mentioned that he suffers from insomnia in real life so it’s interesting that Choi Ung does too. I agree with everyone that he is so attractive when he is drawing and in deep concentration.
  4. Truth was surprisingly good. The chemistry and camaraderie between Lin Yuan Hao/ Lin Lan reminded a lot of Shi Mok/Yeo Jin from Stranger. I do think that the story could have been wrapped up in less than 32 episodes, but nevertheless, still enjoyed it overall. I hope they will have a season 2 with the same cast.
  5. The scenes of them running into each other were so funny. My favorite part was when Ung got his karma after he laughed at YS’ bag ripping and her groceries fell out. They keep bickering with each other, but I’m beginning to think they actually enjoy it and only they can tolerate each other. LOL. YS did seem a bit too mean. I have a feeling her prickly and cold exterior is her method of protecting herself. Has the story mentioned anything of her parents? I know she has or had her grandmother. Maybe she didn’t have a sense of security growing up and perhaps why she needed affirmation from Ung that he loves her. She seemed fearful they may breakup with her constant "what if" questions to him. Loved how you mentioned this before it was brought up episode 4. I thought when YS toured around Ung’s studio, she started to appreciate his talent which was nice. It might be a first step toward understanding him more. He wasn’t studious (like she was), but he was always serious and passionate about drawing. Although he happens to be successful, I agree he's seems simply happy about doing what he loves versus the money and fame. Like everyone, I am curious of the reason why they had broken up. When YS was crying in the bathroom in episode 3, it seemed like it was all YS. While in episode 4, YS implied it may be related to Ung as well. YS seemed to show a softer side of her in episode 4. Wished she would have just sent her text message to Ung. Hope she gets the courage to show the caring and tender side of her to him. Ung and YS looked gorgeous in their cocktail attire. But, sigh, the misunderstanding of her two-timing him and the copy-cat artist for the project was painful to watch. Shall we thank LJH for this? The flashback of them sheltering from the rain in the gazebo together was so cute. They make me want to be young and fall in love like that again.
  6. Thank you! I'm happy to be here. Will definitely peruse around the forum. I love LJH's acting and he's so adorable in real life. I hope we see more of him too.
  7. LOL. I love that! I didn’t even catch it. Yeon Su’s scenes with Lee Joon Hyuk were so funny. Looks like she is warming up to him. She sees him less as a sociopath. Hahaha. Since he knows her history with Ung through her drunken gibberish, I want him to linger around more. He might be able to offer her some professional and personal advice while she is working with Ung on the collaboration. Ung seems to be a bit jealous of Lee Joon Hyuk. I am glad you mentioned this part. My heart broke for him at this moment too. Clearly, he was disappointed with her response and likely, she wasn't speaking from her heart. She had told Lee Joon Hyuk that she hoped the artist wasn't Ung, but I bet, she was hoping otherwise.
  8. Initially going into this drama, I didn't think there would be much to say, but I am loving reading everyone's thoughts here. It’s obvious Ung and Yeon Su still love each other. Though it seems they don’t understand each other which mainly stems from them being opposites. Yeon Su seems to interpret the world more with her left brain while Ung does so with his right. She is analytical and needs to affirm love with words/facts. He is nonverbal/visual – actions speak louder than words. Based on how they currently react to each other, they should not be together...yet. I am interested to see what it will take for them to truly understand each other's hearts. In the first episode, we learned they had a couple’s outfit – yellow sweaters – when they had dated 5 years. When they were stuck in the elevator, I noticed their outfits kind of matched! Seeing Lee Joon Hyuk in the second episode makes me believe he’s part of the cast. Hope we’ll see him again in the next episode. Better yet, please give him his own rom-com. Anyhow, he looks so good and is such a great actor!
  9. Very cute first episode. I dig Choi Woo Shik as Choi Ung. I find his talent as an artist really attractive. I wonder why he keeps his work hidden. I must say...Kim Da Mi is perfect as Kook Yeon Su. LOL. Should be enjoyable to watch these two polar opposites. I didn't know Lee Joon Hyuk would have a cameo. Is it extended? Looks like he'll also appear in ep 2. He's handsome as ever!
