    I watched the first 2 episodes, like it so far. I laughed when the female neighbors were "too" friendly. Also when the vet fell in the mud, and the way he was running after the pigs to give them vaccines. The drama is light-hearted and funny.

    Started watching, unlike the novel, the mother is a selfish lousy parent. Also I remember the youngest sister was a painter too in the novel. In the novel, the sisters accepted their poverty although they befriended the rich neighbour Larry. Strangely the youngest sister Amy was a spoilt child and a bit selfish too, unlike the drama.
