Man I’m dying to watch but can’t find the new episodes yet 😭sorry I keep asking you @NiteWalker but you understand the language and I have to wait for the subs and I have ZERO patience since I’m obsessed with this drama. @Lynne that’s one of my favourite scenes because LX is so resolved and sure of his feelings for JJ. This is why I keep saying he’s always liked her even back then. Gah I cannot wait for them to be together!! ps. When JangHaven is live, I’m going to drag TheMarchioness over here so we can spazz together.

    @NiteWalker thank you! I think it was a poor choice of timing for TanCan to have said that considering JJ didn't know the gravity of the situation. I love how LX right away runs to her and holds her when she cries..

    Scene in episode 10... look at their shirts! Black and white and both styled the same way but just opposite sides of the shirt is tucked in.

    Thanks @NiteWalker! In the scene where ZQ ends up at the hospital, why was JJ crying? Sorry, I just saw the RAW versions without subs so I couldn't figure out what was happening.

    For some reason, the mothers in this drama are somewhat awful.. LX and ZQ's mom, MY's mom... I don't know what the current situation is between TC and her mom but it doesn't look good either.

    @Alice Wonderland I also think that when MY finds out that LX likes JJ, she’s going to turn villain. Especially since her mom also says that JJ is talented and is always encouraging her to make something of herself. I ship TanCan and ZQ’s friend too. Lol

    I just finished watching ep 15-16 and I have to say that both ZQ and LX are hiding their own hardships. The fact that ZQ is wearing/borrowing LX’s clothes is a telling sign that he doesn’t have a lot of money as everyone thinks. Does anyone have English translations for the scene where LX is throwing garbage but JJ thinks he’s leaving again? I’d love to know what they were saying.

    Thanks for sharing these @Lynne! I have to say I’m glad he decided to work out for this role bec he looks amazing! Ps. I prefer him clean-shaven. I don’t like the scruff on his face and I feel like he needs a haircut. Haha but still very handsome. 😍

    I think that ZQ and LX have always tried to protect JJ and it's still the case now that they're adults. I think that at some point, they need to realize that JJ is an adult too and not only can she take of herself, but that she also needs to know about their struggles and weaknesses. Only by being honest and open with each other can they regain that close relationship they once enjoyed as children. Otherwise they open themselves up for misunderstandings. I think that they're going to learn a lot about each other in the next episodes.

    I have to say Zhang Xincheng spoke English really well in ep 14 when he was describing the menu. His acting in this one is so so good too.

    @Lynne @NiteWalker I think ChenTing couldn't deal with the guilt so she's passing the blame on to LX which is definitely cruel and unfair to the child. I think CT is the type that lashes out when she doesn't get what she wants. I think that she still blames LX for his sister's death so every time LX disappoints her, she likely lashes at him.

    I like it.. I have to admit I started watching only because of Jerry Yan but I'm actually enjoying it. For those who are Meteor Garden fans, they basically paired the original Dao Ming Si (Jerry Yan) with the latest Shan Cai (Shen Yue). LOL What has the feedback been like @Lynne? The interactions between Lu Xincheng (Jerry Yan's character) and Tong XiaoYou (Shen Yue's character) are so cute and I can't get enough of their scenes together.

    Glad to see you are also watching @Alice Wonderland! Yes, the bond between the three - JJ, LX and ZQ - is definitely endearing to watch but also the love that the 2 dads (HaiChao and Heping) have for them. It's not easy being a single parent and not only did he take in ZQ and LX, but he really sees them as his own children - no different from how he sees and treats JianJian.

    I originally want MY for ZQ when she was all innocent and sweet. But now.... I personally think that LX has always liked JJ while ZQ developed feelings for her later on when they met again. But I've only seen up to ep 11 so my opinion might change when I see the newer episodes. You decided to watch! YAY! Although I don't advocate the slap, I have to say I was glad to see LX's dad stand up for him when the Chen Ting was saying that it was LX's fault his sister died. What a horrible thing to say to a child! Especially when the child already felt that way.
