  1. HAHAHA! It is justifiable overrated. Compared to you-know-which-drama(s), it is a romance with a storyline, a great cast with very solid acting, OTP match well visually, has chemie and can act. The cinematography and OST are also good.
  2. I forgot to comment about episode 3-4! For me, these two episodes did not retain the humour like the last two. That was disappointing for me. I thought maybe they could at least find a balance between it. I suppose the story had to become more serious because it is only a 10-episode series, OK, at least for this season. The rating is not bad, so MBC could easily do an S2 as long as all the actors can reprise their roles.
  3. In conclusion, @peperomia, we need you in both QoT and LR threads! 😂
  4. Tae Sung will appear in 2023, might have become a cop like his dad. Saw some spoiler pic on SNS. Yeah, Tae Sung likes mother-like Sol who nags him, not fawn over him 🤣 Sun Jae is smitten by Sol, no matter which version. So your condition must be guy fell hard first but girl does the chasing? And good chemie. Haha. Yes, the mandatory requirement is must be charming or good looking.
  5. Thank you, God! Our Tea is still going strong! I think what I liked the most in the beginning (and always moved me) is the revelation of Sun Jae's feelings. End of episode 2 showed us Sun Jae was the one who fell for her first. Episode 4 showed us Sun Jae purposely called her at the station, and that disappointed sigh she doesn’t remember him. 🥲 There's a certain level of pity for Sun Jae whenever Sol goes back & forth in time, and he would be left with the Sol that never knew him. I think my heart feels for him at the thought of the 15 years he spent waiting for the "right" Sol. Episode 5-6 gave us insights as to what that incident Sol got into and explained why she couldn't remember - it's not the trauma - but because 34 years old Sol took over. I also like that the story is switching between the past and present. Hehe. Anyway, stay until episode 8. It's too funny to miss! Oh hey, KTS in blonde look familiar. What drama is this? I agree with Alice his hair just doesn't appeal in 2008. Most importantly, he's not as handsome (pretty) as BWS. Haha! He's finally gaining fame. Very late, in 30s, but happy for him coz when I saw him in previous dramas, I always thought he is ML material with the looks and height. Just need to act well, which I can see he can now.
  6. Episode 8 is top in comedy - I enjoyed it so much! I love how in his eyes, Sol is aegyoing - and he can't help but says "yes" to all her request. The way he says it, too, so funny! And then there's that scene where they finally met at the bridge, the way he emotes there really gave me feels. It's like, finally, after 15 years she's back! That is a long wait! Poor thing! 🥲 He was also looking extra fine in the scene Sol confesses her feelings outside her apartment. Eeeek! Yes, she will travel back to save him one last time. Hahaha, Hyun Woo and Sun Jae don't exist in reality. And that is why we are so smitten by them! 😮‍💨
  7. You can quit after episode 8. You really REALLY have to watch til Ep8. It's very very funny.
  8. @SilverMoonTea Oh. I forgot about that one. HAHAHAHAHA! You know why? Coz she doesn't remember it afterwards. So this one doesn't count.
  9. I'm shocked @SilverMoonTea is still here and updated whilst she struggles with Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner. What...?! Wae yo? Wae? LOL. @peperomia I'm here in spirit and supporting you all to finish for my sake. HAHAHA!
  10. Love love love episode 8. It's hilarious and soooo cute. All the heart fluttering moments are so funny. I didn't know Byeon Woo Seok does good comedy, too. He emotes very well too, I felt it. I love that he's so in love with her for the last 15 years and never had a change of heart. Love the drunk act as well. It's sad for him, but funny for us audience. Haha. I do believe deep down inside, Sun Jae knew the Sol from 2023 is the one "who came to him". And of course the... And argh, they didn't even get to spend some time together and the inevitable happen again. I knew it wouldn't be so easy! @UnniSara the watch was a gift from Sol from the time capsule.
  11. @abs-oluteM What in the world did I just read in your spoiler? LOL. I'm now more convinced to just wait for all the episodes to be out. I thought we established the killer, and now you're telling me it isn't her, it's him (again)? LMAO.
  12. Episode 7 I'm so glad 34 years old Sol and Sun Jae finally meet! It's nice to see what really happened in the original timeline vs the new timeline. It gives us clarity. I do believe we will see more of the 2008-2009 timeline later. There is a scene from the long preview trailer that Sun Jae asked Sol if she time-travelled. I believe that is a scene from the past. Sun Jae already started to believe what 34 years old's Sol said to him, I'm sure after the incident in 2008, and Sol travels back again he will figure it out. Hi, @UnniSara Yes, you are correct. Sun Jae fought the killer in the original timeline and broke his watch. Sol obtained the watch in the future through an auction. However, in the second timeline, the watch was not broken on Sept 1, 2008. And true, there is now another watch that Sun Jae looks at it fondly. I'm sure we'll find out later (soon enough) what that other watch is. Also, it is odd that Mum mentioned the incident was from 14 years ago when it is supposed to be 15 years ago. So there should be one more time-travelling back to 2009. Sol did "dream" of her and Sun Jae running. That might be from her time-travelling to 2009 where the killer tries to do something to them again. Unfortunately, I believe Sun Jae still dies in 2023, so Sol travels back to 2009 to catch the killer once and for all. Killer probably dies in that timeline so that in the newly created timeline she and Sun Jae gets a happy ending in 2023. There is no reason for her to return to the past again if Sun Jae did not die in the present, or the killer is captured again in the present. It means Sun Jae knew the Sol that he is friends with in 2008 is actually 34 years old Sol. ---- Ahahahaha, episode 8 is HILARIOUS!!! I'm peeking at spoilers right now xD You guys will love episode 8 even more. Hehehe
  13. Yes, Netizens pointed out Hae In's illness actually is letting her see the future. Is it really Park Ji Eun's intention? I don't know. Here I am thinking maybe the production team was being lazy and decided to use some of the filmed scenes for her relapse scenes. 😆 Isn't it too far-fetched if it is...? More importantly, what for? After watching a number of Park Ji Eun's works, I personally don't think she writes good villains. The actors playing villains would do a superb job at being bad, but the character itself was not given much depth or backstory. Also, they are not always the smartest. I think, out of the villains penned by this writer, Yoon Eun Seong take the cake for being the most hateful and despicable from the get-go. I'm interested to see by the end of 2024 whether he'll be the Villain I pick in JH's end of year event. Hahaha. I don't remember disliking Lee Jae Kyung (played by Shin Sung Rok) this much. LOTBS' and CLOY's villains were all pretty meh. To be honest, I don't understand his obsession with Hae In. Just from one incident where she was nice to him? Really? I also cannot relate that he could think Hae In would be OK for what he did to her (at Uni times and current) and her family. It's an incomprehensible behaviour. Maybe he's sick in the head and can't understand right from wrong. That's probably the intention by tvN. Regretfully, based on the shared photos of the wrap up parties, both are cautious. No pictures taken together, unlike the new generation born in the mid-90s, who will post plenty of photos together on their SNS. Another OST - Opening Theme Song
  14. Preview: Queen of Tears Casts Asking Everything to Tune in to Special Episode this Saturday
  15. "Bloodhounds" In Talks For Season 2 + Woo Do Hwan And Lee Sang Yi Reported To Return Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi may be returning with Season 2 of “Bloodhounds”! On April 29, Sports Seoul reported that the Netflix series “Bloodhounds” confirmed the production of Season 2 and that lead actors Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi will also join the cast for Season 2. The report included that Season 2 of “Bloodhounds” is scheduled to kick off filming in the second half of this year. In response to the report, a representative of Netflix stated, “We are discussing it positively, but nothing has been confirmed yet.” Based on a webtoon, “Bloodhounds” is an action noir about two young people who step into the world of loan sharks in pursuit of money and get caught up in a web of much darker forces. Woo Do Hwan starred as Gun Woo, who enters the world of loan sharks to pay off his debts while Lee Sang Yi took on the role of Woo Jin, who ends up working with Gun Woo. source Hi @abs-oluteM Can you please correct "Hunting Dogs" to "Bloodhounds" in the directory? Thank you.
  16. I'm still trying to digest this ending. It technically is a happy ending—they got back together, had little Soo Bin (aww) and Hae In lived till 2074. It's better than 50 First Dates. LOL. Unfortunately, I still feel a sense of dissatisfaction in the lack of couple's building a family scenes and skinship. The couple only shared a passionate kiss in episode 5. 😭 I'm glad some questions and gaps were answered and closed. Though, I also think it didn't clarify everything. • Mo Seul Hee killed Soo Wan, but why? How does that work in her favour? • It also didn't explain why she wanted Queens. 30 years is a very long time. I'd love to know what motivated her. • The baby loss – again, we don't know how it happened. I'm 99% certain the answer will be in the script because knowing the reason ideally helps the actors built their characters. Argh. In episode 15, I thought it was a plot hole Hae In's MP3 player miraculously got back to Queens residence. And how did the hospital know to send the notebook to Hae In when it was Hyun Woo who were looking for it, and how careless he was to send it directly. I'm glad these 2 scenes were clarified in this episode. Sending Mo Seul Hee to rot in jail is a rightful end to a villain such as her. On the contrary, Eun Seong's death seem appropriate because (1) put him out of his misery; and (2) only then Hae In can truly be safe. I'm surprised Da Hye actually went to jail—for quite a few years at that—seeing how much Gun Woo had grown. Given she's shown remorse, and only committed fraud and scam, I thought she could easily get away with probation like any other Chaebol family always do. Aunt Beom Ja's love line was cute at first, but it became draggy, and I preferred more OTP's scenes over the side-stories. The ending is not how I'd imagine, but I quite like some of the dialogues. Hyun Woo saying he forgot the promises he made and how much he loved Hae In. In the midst of a long relationship or marriage, this can indeed happen. With Kdramas in the past, often the writer is still completing the script at the time of filming and airing. Since this drama is pre-produced, it's hard to tell whether the proposal scenes and dialogues were completed in its entirety and filmed in one setting. I just thought it'd require meticulous planning in story-telling to reveal a certain portion first, and another later down the latter episodes. In this instance, it connected well with Hyun Woo's apology at the hospital. Another dialogues that resonated is when both admitted they both feared their relationship will go awry again, even though "now, at this moment" they are good. Let's hope there are some new contents in the Special Episodes. 🤞🏻 @abs-oluteM Did you read the news about Not Others 2? At least in this one, Park Sung Hoon is a good guy. There was a serious lack of screen time of him in last season, maybe with the success of QoT, he could get more scenes in S2. By the way, it seems like the old man Hae In saw was indeed Hyun Woo. I saw the comparison video. It doesn't make sense, because that meant Hae In's illness help her see glimpses of the future. Not only that, when she has a memory lapses, she was at the Lavender field, at the snow etc. Those were location that Hyun Woo and her were at (honeymoon and shooting ground). Odd. I don't know whether the Netizens read too much into it, but yeah, would be nice to have some clarification.
