  1. I say

Even knets are surprised and delighted because Na In Woo was never mentioned in the “throw your oppa’s name “ in the pot  :yayaya:

But so far the comments are fairly good and supportive to the production with the best effort they need to do, now the 90% film in progress could have been reduced in half.

Now i worry on the cinematography that the director took focused on judging from the above par quality we saw from episode 1-6. I hope it will not be totally compromised.

Arthdal Chronicles is one of the most expensive Korean dramas made in recent years and the following video is testament to where a lot of the money went. If you are visiting Korea and would like to experience Asadal/Arthdal for yourself, then you can go to the 10 million dollar set that was built special for the drama.

The set is located in the city of Osan, which is in Gyeonggi Province. It is also not going anywhere, because it appears that they are making it a permanent tourist attraction for anyone who wants to experience what it would be like to live in the times of Arthdal. there is even a small museum on site that explains the main characters of the show and what the show is about including how they made the set.

Saseongam Hermitage [사성암 or in full: 구례 오산 사성암 일원/求禮 鼇山 四聖庵 一圓] is located on the granite cliffs and summit of Mt Osan, in the foothills of Mt Jirisan. It is also known as The Hermitage of the Four Saints, referring to the four head monks who lived and studied here, and practiced asceticism (renunciation of worldly pleasures to achieve a high spiritual state of being). It was founded during the rule of King Seong of Baekje in 544 CE, who was a great patron of Buddhism in Korea. The main hall houses a rock-carved Buddha, which is said to have been carved by the monk Wonhyo using his fingernails. The views from the Hermitage are said to be spectacular, especially at sunset.

*Photo on my first post about filming location is modified. I presume this scene was filmed in this location instead. Based on this blog, Goguryeo Blacksmith Village is one of the film locations of this drama. The drama may have used CG instead to reflect a wider scope of On Hyeop's tribe.

Goguryeo Blacksmith Village, established by Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do, is the historic theme park of Goguryeo. Many foreign tourists visit this place because It is the only blacksmith village in Korea and filming site, where various dramas, such as Taewangsashingi, Bramuinara, Kwaedohonggildong and Jamyeonggo, were filmed.

  8. It seems like Byeong In  will come to his senses but then he will be the scapegoat for the failure of the rebellion.

If considering the timeline in history there was a failed coup during Cheoljong's reign:

    Quote

Not everyone was willing to wait. In 1862, Yi Ha-jon, another member of the royal family, felt he would be a better king than Cheoljong and decided to take matters into his own hands and seize the throne. His coup failed in its infancy and he paid for his transgression with his life. Rather than be ignobly executed, he was allowed to end his life in a more dignified manner ― with poison.

Thanks @Chocolate for this photo, because when I was watching this a while ago, I am like YEAH , girl power!

I like how the gender bender roles had been constant in this series, and while I am getting anxious of what will happen to SoBong 's little tiger, I am like ALL IN SoBong coming to the rescue to search for her Choljeongie !

I think the novel ending will be the path for the story , coinciding with the events of the history--they already made creative freedom on this one, with Cheoljong already pronounced 'dead' even before Cheorin gave birth to their presumptive heir.

    Two more episodes to go!
