Yes!!! This is my favorite line too hahahaha.... so perfect in describing his dilemma.. 

My heart really breaks when he says this line......  

I do think that he believes he can get his revenge while also have a future with SS.. but circumstances push him to another extreme.. and while he gets his revenge.. he also have to let go of everything else...

@mademoiselle @OsmanthusTea in the drama Buyi always know Ling Yi is his father's killer. There was a flashback shown in one of the OST where he saw LingYi kill his father. But I think he also want to know everything that happens that cause the City falls and also the delayed help from the others. I can understand because in his shoulder he's carrying the weight of the his family, Gu City's poeple and also indirectly all the people that died wanting to help like Qian An Wang... How to forgive.. how can he forgive.... Sigh...

On a side note.. watching all the sweet scenes.. while also having the God's perspective as an audience makes my stomach hurt... because the elephant in the room (Buyi''s secret) is so loud!!!! I dread knowing how hurt SS will be.. Yet, I cannot stop watching....

81 is correct... yuefei is correct.. yet the emperor is also correct.... why the emperor did not pursue anymore.. IMHO was because the people's are dead.. its not that he's sheltering the guilty people.. but he want to look forward.. what he's trying to maintain is the stability of the nation. So I do understand his side. 

Yet.. 81 is also not wrong... In my mind I'm circling back the my argument.. How can he forgive???? Sigh...

In today's episode...  I really like this shot.. 

They're not perfect.. far from it; their past experience made it so...., but they're learning to compromise.. and I find it realistic.

Watching the discussion... I feel like there might be more to the story.. but what it is.. i dunno.. maybe changho was just on the wrong time and the wrong place... lol..  because he's so gooffy.. so I don't believe that he's a criminal.. but who knows..... lol.. 

I know that @mademoiselle mentions Big Mouth in the Galaxy thread.. but it flew through my mind that this is LJS drama.. LOLOLOL..

I had just saw an post on twitter about this.. and suddenly realized that this drama is finally airing.. hahahhaa...

The adaptation has been very good so far... 

Our characters including the leads are flawed people.. and the show does not shy away in showing that to us....

I know right? I find that Glory is very rare for me... its like even if we re-watch this drama years from now.. we'll still feel this happy feeling they bring... 

just the other day... I saw a short clip on youtube.. and I still have a big smile just because of the drama..

The mother also can't stop comparing CSS with yangyang which further the conflict.CSS may seem uncaring about it, but it doesn't mean that the mother's attitude doesn't hurt.. sigh..

One thing I'm glad to be pointed out in the show is that CSS knows clearly that yangyang is not at fault and still like the cousin..  while another sad part of me also think CSS also knows CY longer.. from snippets of conversation in the earlier episodes, CY also helps CSS from time to time in the past.. so she knows her cousins better than her mother.... her cousin is timid, yet has a kind heart.. if anything else, they both suffer because of the second aunt - altho one is lighter than the others.

yes.. this is their biggest issue isn't it?... 

nevertheless.. sometimes.. it is what it is... it will come to a point where do you want to keep struggling with the never ending issue.. or do you want to have a peace of mind by accepting that not everything has to work out and move forward with your life.

Exactly.. the queen gives her the motherly love and also care that she needs... and I'm here for that........

CSS has been shown to have both parents characteristic.. but she's not raised by them.. and sadly they view her first by her mistakes and the people who raised her; ie Second aunt...

While saying this, I do think the mother has a lot of guilty feeling towards CSS, but her reflections always comes a step too late, and she bounced back to her ego and justifications afterward. It doesn't help that they operates like water and oil.. similar.. but not exactly the same... she's not a bad person.. just not the mother that's suitable for CSS, so as much as she questions CSS motives, CSS will also questions her motives. 

Sadly.. this is not uncommon...  just yesterday.. a friend tell me.. that CSS's experienced reminder her of how her friend's relationship with her mother.. she was raised by her grandmother.. because the parent have to work overseas.. and when they come back years later.. they always have problems communicating...
