@SilverMoonTea drat, it always has to end when things get exciting. Saw the preview for E20 and they have found DD's father. Now, we'll have to wait for Sunday to watch the continuation. The perfect role is the one which doesn't require a lot of emotions 

I think they have used AR's original voice (just confirmed with Ms Crow and Mr Lizard)? And I am quite sure it's LQ's own voice. A nice change, that they are not dubbed.

@NiteWalker i stole a few glances and didn't know why she approached him until I watched a YTber explain the sypnosis. I thought it was a chance encounter, I didn't know she orchestrated it, in a way. I am more intrigued now to watch this show but IMO I can't stand her being an airhead plus that voice, even if I know it's a ploy/an act. There's only so much of that over-the-top sweet and coy voice I can take after watching LBFAD.

@SilverMoonTea I am watching a bit of this here and there. I like Li Qin; sometimes I wonder if it's the role she is casted in or it's just her - she tends to speak fast and very passionately. So YX was a welcome change (for me). AR is AR, tbh in every drama, he is about the same, IMO. I am waiting to see what can possibly happen for about 20 eps more....

watching a bit-bit. You know me lah, it's too early, so I will wait till more are out before I begin. And I am somewhat confused with the trailers. I thought from the ending of S1, she came back to him. Now it seems like in S2, she came back 1 year early? She came back for a mission? She is ill?  And from MDL's subs, she has a bossy rival lover who is going to get in her way with the ML? huh? so many things happening? And the guy keeps forgetting her each time it rains (ok, it's 1 year earlier, that much is logical). sigh. my poor brain is confused. 

I like Wan Peng since I saw her in Crushed, then I went to watch her in S1 of this drama. Chemistry with ML there was pretty good!

no lah, not really, I was creating threads for somewhere else (ahem), and so I decided to copy, paste here loh. [honest truth]

I did like him in Maiden Holmes but after watching him being too mild mannered, I feel a bit bored with that temperament. Maybe he will change my opinion in Kunning Palace, I think it should, considering he is someone who turns over a new leaf.

The one person I won't quite get bored of watching is Wallace Chung, more my age, lol and in a drama, that bossy, authoritative personality is enjoyable to watch. Though I did cringe a little watching him in Because of Love, felt like he was too defeated and self-sacrificing.

@OsmanthusTea he does not have Esther to play with. I used to wonder if he was just obliging her but now i think of it he is prolly just as much a child at heart as she is. Haha I don't think Yukee Chen will play with him.

Sypnosis

The FL is from Young Blood....I like her acting. I think she should do well with WL. I wonder what it'll be like watching him in a modern drama? At least, he will be able to act with a greater range of emotions, haha.

@OsmanthusTea DD is an eunuch in that drama! Well, at least that's his cover. It's Yukee Chen though, so I wonder how well the end result will be. I caught a few glimpses of See You Again, I don't think the CP part has begun yet, they are still at the dogs and cats stage, I shall reserve my comments though I think they are both quite perfunctory in their role.

Yes, indeed it is. I think this is likely from the novel - don't know how much of it will be adapted but the fact is he does  remember bits and pieces of his past life, that much was explained in the article. Me neither - I don't recall watching any of her dramas. But with Jeremy, hopefully it'll be ok. Though I recall that he needs a strong FL who doesn't get overpowered/ overshadowed by his presence.

@NiteWalker I was more amused with Guan Xiao Tong's reaction, boy was she pissed at the guy she was paired up with. 

As for DD, very competitive, surprisingly Bin Bin seems more gentle. I can't imagine him as that because the impression I have of him in TMOPB still lasts till now, haha.

I saw on iQiyi that there is a meet the fan special session for VIPs on 17 Sept! Anyone know what is that about? the typical meet and greet fan session?

@OsmanthusTea yah... I said 'rumoured'...let's see if there are further changes to the cast (but an online article states that it is likely to be Bin Bin!) whereas on MDL, it's still DD. Apparently the guy in the novel is more matured, so Bin Bin would be more realistic than DD.

Oh, I saw 0910 on Hunan official channel and thought it stood for 10 sept. 

woah, the way DD was struggling to get away from Bin Bin...and the look of aggression on his face!

My biggest complain of IS is the dialogues. I told @SilverMoonTea the same thing. IS had such a shallow and meaningless chessy corny dialogue for Chinese costume drama. I don't what's the writer/s were smoking when they wrote this. IS had a great potential to have many iconic phrases but it fell flat for me.

 prolly not smoking weed enough, so they didn't get sufficient inspiration. I agree, the script isn't good and the scene where she was lying in YY's arms after giving him her remaining Lotus Heart (I felt) was dragged out far too long, and the order of her 'speech' was not quite logical.

@OsmanthusTea I can't wait for 10 Sept to watch this! I saw DD in another variety show, and boy was he competitive!

On a separate note, I just realised that both Zhang Ling He (Kunning Palace) and DD would have acted/ will be acting with Bai Lu (rumoured for Yi Ai Wei Ying) ...haha they can exchange notes on what it's like to act with both girls at some point. 

@SilverMoonTea To be fair, a drama with Yang Zi and him can't be that bad to watch. I just thought the ending felt like someone pulled the plug as they were editing. So, now I know why, I won't complain - it's just that I wish the network (Youku) won't do this kind of thing and spoil their own reputation. [then again it doesn't have a terribly good one, anyway]
