Just caught up to episode 11 and I can already tell, she’s trying too hard with the doctor but he doesn’t like her since the elevator incident, which thank god, not another blind idiot.

I'm rewatching episode 31, ShiYi and Danyang's scene. I feel Danyang's words are very true, cause she said "men, they can't help themselves". As a princess and as the only wife, she prob felt very insecure, especially witnessing LingYi's multiple marriages. It also hit me pretty hard how the women in that period of time to have to accept that, one day your husband will find another woman (I know in this case, he was set up) but for these women to have these thoughts are pretty sad. 

I also liked that Danyang can talked to ShiYi like sisters, rather than like before, the whole smirking and criticizing ShiYi.

I turn a c drama fan mainly due to lockdown last year. There were few many drama I like, so I try my best to support m comment.. Those that i don like because leads are too childish or storyline is just meh... I did not comment at all. Good or bad, whatever it is, actors worked hard n pd team, directors tried their best n worked hard within certain limitations they have, just try to appreciate. If really cannot appreciate no need to be harsh as well.

I doubt she and I could be friends either. But she is popular, I think because she gives reviews in English and has some industry background. What I hate is people quote her a lot like she’s Roger Ebert of cdrama land. She’s just another viewer like us. 

You know, literally her plus point was she's well knowledge in the Chinese culture, she speaks Chinese. So, for us international fan, if we don't know anything, we would be like "omg she's right" etc. I've read the comments on her youtube, it's literally a bunch of people who so surprised toward what she said, while I am here "what?" LOL. Like I'm not well knowledge in the cultures as her, but her reviews are legit full of criticisms, it's not even a review tho. If I want to hear a preview, I want a pros and cons

I honestly wasn't going to comment at all, because I legit make a post in the past telling people to snap out of their fantasy, like stop rating the thing low before you started the damn drama. I only got annoyed to the point when I scroll down to see repetitive things and some people weren't even that far in the drama (like eps 10) they were so quick to make comments already AND someone have the decency to call ShiYi a "white lotus female lead" and criticized her character from the beginning til' the end. I noticed people are very quick to judge female characters whereas male characters' actions are justifiable?

I have learned that AvenueX and I don't share the same taste, when she basically hated Go Ahead, whereas I loved it.

 

But I like the industry knowledge she provides. I know not to watch her reviews, especially if I am in the middle of watching a show. Afterwards I don't mind so much because I've already made up my mind. Anyways my reaction was less about her than it was a viewer using her review to justify their own feelings. 

 

The Shiyi about to be hanged is from this show. It's in the OST but yeah @SnT also said it was from the General and I.

 

 

I don’t think me and AvenueX can be friends. If she want to point out the illogicalness in this drama, she better start calling out other drama too. I honestly just felt like she forced herself to watch the drama just cause it have high rating and it would be much easier to grab people’s attention this way

I also noticed how the drama make "Yan Shan" as the good friend, but it doesn't seems like they get along very well, rather Mika is closer to the other girl. So I wonder if this is like a hint to something.

I keep getting weird vibe off Yan Shan. First, she’s very guarded, like she doesn’t dare to do anything that would risk her reputation or her career. For instance, in the elevator, the patient was literally dying but she rather wait. AFTER ALL, she took credit in front of the doctors. 
 

When Mika got in neurological department, nobody congratulated but only care about Yan Shan. There was another scene, but i forgot. Either way, I’m not getting good vibes of her or am I completely wrong?

I don't watch that many CDrama (especially modern CDrama) though I am native Chinese ;-) I have been in Kdrama land because of Kim SooHyun the last year or so... 

But... the pandemic made me start watch Who's the Murderer, and I started to like Bai Jingting.

This is the first drama of him I watch, and honestly I didn't have high expectations (I thought the pairing was a bit weird).

And 14 episodes in, how wrong was I...?!

 

What makes the drama stand out for me is how it portraits the littles things/interactions between the CPs, both the main one and the secondary one. The acting is also very natural, which makes it so relatable. Except the life-saving part, the interactions between Xing Kelei and Mi Ka are mostly about small things, but you can really feel the feelings they feel, which made this extremely addictive... I lost count of how many times I rewatched their interaction bits. 

Of course, Bai Jingting in uniforms! He really pulled it off and made it very convincing... and handsome as hell!!! 

 

The only question is why they only release 8 episodes a week - wayyyyy toooo slow!!!!

 

 

You should also watch the one with him and Jing Boran, i forgot the show name but just search that duo up, its hilarious

 This is what I am seeing in this next week's episode. 

Houye went somewhere, maybe a business trip. We finally get to see ShiYi using the expensive fan he gave her, she sat there fanning and waiting for him. Out of nowhere, he came back and hugged her 

"Did you miss me?" 

"Houye" then she hugged him 

"I misses you everyday and every night." She said 

"Me too."

I had my eyes on him since that rush to the dead summer, on top of that he's Songyun's buddy....It's fate for us. 

OKAY, so here is my my thoughts so far on episode 1 & 2. 

Xing Kelei seems to be a very difficult guy to pleased, but surprisingly he's being quite generous toward her (although it's only 2 episodes so far) I guess maybe cause they had a "moment" during the bomb transferring process. Anyway, so I find Mi Ka a little indecisive and immature at first, only because she wants so many things but she doesn't know which she should prioritize, like she want to successfully finish her training but also being able to help her friend treat her illness. So, the part I find it slightly annoying was that she blamed Xing Kelei for punishing during the stretcher moving down thing, like I guess at first, i did thought maybe he's trying to annoyed her but either way, he's still the captain and she was the trainee, for her to boldly called him out for "going against her because of personal grudge" was a little bit eh, especially in front of trainees and his co-workers but anyways. I like how he answered her because judging from her personality, simply explaining to her why she's wrong isn't going to be very convincing, especially since she and him are currently quarrelling, but honestly that was only a slight bit of thing I didn't like but other than that. 

Another thing was when he wanted to punished for sneaking out twice, I feel like he's the type to be like "I won't say things twice, if you want to break rules, go ahead, I won't stop you but I will punish you." I guess it's because he's the leader, so it make sense for him to be harsh, so it doesn't seems like he's being soft to anyone (cause you know the other guy was fool by the 'period' excuse). So this is what I mean by she quite indecisive and immature, like she want so to complete this training, she said she doesn't care about the certificate but so far she's only fighting back with him and showing him that she can't do it, but I know there will be more than this. I do appreciate her determination wanting to be good at your dreams, etc. Like for example, i liked what the doctor said too "don't put personal feelings into this, just prove she unprofessional = I kind of agree because so far, she's putting in a lot of her personal feeling on her friends, on this training and she's showing she is capable of learning but isn't capable of keeping her "professionalism". As of right now, I can't comment much on Xing Kelei cause he doesn't get a lot of screen time yet, only beside he's quite mean, i did like that she owned like "10" phones tho. 

I'm guessing they're going for that type of drama, the mischievous girl and the cold officer kind of type but I do enjoy the comedy that is being thrown in once in a while. So far, I am really enjoying it, I did drag a person from my server, so now we're live watching this after watching The Sword of The Brocade. 

LIKE I SAID, I AM ONLY SPEAKING ABOUT THIS CAUSE I'M ONLY ON EPISODE 1-2.

I think someone I talked to said iQiyi didn't open fast track, or maybe they did. Anyways, so I talked to a few people and realized there's a possibility fast-track only available for Asia region or something because people I know in Asia was able to purchase fast track, they even have an option in WETV that said "fast track" but I checked mine and it's not there....So i'm thinking, it's possibly region wise.
