Under the Power One of the best period dramas, though some poor CGI. Still, totally love how the story evolved, the Female Lead (JinXia) was no damsel in distress. She never just waited on her feet to be rescued; she always found ways to make it out on her own. Besides these, the whole cast actually came together very well, and for the first time, I find the antagonist to be really cute. Never in my history of watching dramas have I not loathed the antagonist. Go Ahead A very different type of family, where usually the mother has the glory in raising the kids, in this drama, it is the fathers who are the heroes of the family, raising the kids single-handedly. Not to mention, it is also shows the true meaning of being a family. You do not have to be related to be a family. As long as you care enough for each other, you're family regardless what others may say. Depression was also highlighted in the drama itself, where it was not hushed up or treated as a taboo. Instead, it was acknowledged and tackled, and we got to see it. Face Off The determination of the young makeup artist who wanted to make it to the top and wanted to learn from the top notch master who had just returned back from US. Finally, love sparks between the master and the student. Of course, there are some misunderstandings between them before they finally get back together. It also show how the student succeeds in the field that she had always loved. All About Eve One of the very best Kdramas I have watched, though it was years ago. It is also one of the Kdramas that introduced me to Kdrama-land. I loved the determination of the small newscaster played by Chae Rim. Her chemistry with Jang DongGun is also top notch for me. I am still re-watching it till today. Prince of Tennis I had always loved the manga, and also the anime when it was first released, so when the C-Drama version of Prince of Tennis was released with Song YiRen as Sakura, I decided to watch it, especially as I like Song YiRen and want to support most of her projects. I had very low expectations for the CGI, however much to my surprise, the CGI for Prince of Tennis is really one of the best. Also, to my pleasure, the flow of the story pretty much follows the manga storylines closely. Peng YuCheng really played one of the best Ryoma I've seen and all of his moves are really very close to the anime and manga I love. Honestly, it would be good if they came up with S2 with the same cast.

i started it and it seems pretty good....the story lines is pretty simple....well im only on 1st episode for now

Editor: @stroppyse An ugly duckling trying to find her footing in society, she lacks confidence in herself due to her appearance. However her infatuation for Liang YouNian changes her and makes her determined to better herself. So she starts to change and push herself to be better so that she can stand beside the guy she has fallen for, but these changes were done as phases rather than a sudden change all at once. As she slowly changes herself so that she can stand besides the prince she is in love with, she finds out that she is not just changing for him. Rather, she is also changing for herself, learning to take a stand for own self as well. She is able to take pride in her own work as well as be able to shine like the star that she is. While as for our prince, he learns that there are times when you need to let things go so that you can live on. During the transition where MiaoMiao slowly changes her appearances for the better and gains more confidence in her own ability, YouNian realizes that what he felt for MiaoMiao was more than the sisterly affection he had thought he felt. This realization comes to him when his buddy laughs at him for acting as if he’s being ignored by the girl he is in love with. I love how YouNian transitions from being a protective brother into a protective boyfriend, and love all those small moments whenever YouNian and MiaoMiao share a scene together. Plot/story: 8/10 Don't like the very beginning of the part of the story since the beginning feels a little draggy. However, the story picks up from their University period and as it shows how they transition from one phase of life into another. Cast/acting: 9/10 Good acting on Lai GuanLin on his debut in drama land which was also his first leading role. This was also the first time I was introduced to Zhao JinMai who played MiaoMiao. The cast who acted as MiaoMiao's and YouNian's friends are also pretty steady. They give off the right sense of being buddies who look after one another as well. The only one i didn’t really like was the guy who acted as YouNian's stepbrother from his father’s second marriage. Production value: 8/10 Love the props they have for the architecture students and fashion students. Also, the setting they have for the students’ class room is really casual and yet still feels like a study room. Re-watch value: 8/10 On and off, I still love to watch this drama whenever I feel like having to watch a high school love story.
